I know I have formed some excellent habits . I am happier and healthier
Petal, you have done great in that year, lost most of the weight you needed to and kept it off. That is a great accomplishment! When you found me and started posting to my diary here you were a great inspiration, your dedication and for a lack of a better term just plain common sense really helped me. You still are a great inspiration to me. I hope you are down on Friday, for the anniversary, but no matter your Friday weight this a year you should rightly be proud of. And I am proud to share that date of the "switch being turned on" as you put it with you!It's a year on Friday since I started doing my weight loss in earnest ( and Rob too ) . I was hoping to be 40lb down but I know I am not exactly at that point yet. I will, weigh Friday morning to get an exact reading . Hoping it will be around the 35 mark.

Thanks Cateit has certainly been a fascinating year .I see a year of improvements, despite all the ups & downs. You have done really well, Petal & this makes me happy-
LaMa I have learned so much but also learning how hard it is to maintain .Fingers well and truly crossed. Despite all the ups and downs you´ve done so well and learned so much and that´s pretty big at a time when most people were gaining a ton of weight.

When you lose weight as slowly as we have, healthy though it may be, you´re only the occasional treat away from maintenance anyway so nothing much is allowed to change when you reach your goal weight.I have learned so much but also learning how hard it is to maintain .
I think anyone is only as close as a treat away from regaining no matter how quickly you lose the weight. If you realise that then you are are a much better chance of staying in maintenance. That really is unfair. Are the bosses getting cut back as far as you are?What sucks is at the end of it my pay could very well be slashed and as I'm working extremely hard I do feel it's very unfair.
My sushi place should open up again tomorrow and I´m so looking forward to my first take-out!ended up having a take out meal my first since lockdown
