Petals diary

Pity about the pound, but considering you had a holiday in the meantime, that's not bad at all. You've lost loads! ;)

Being around people who are going through the same things as you is great, I agree.

I wouldn’t get down about the pound Petal!! Well done for going for group. I used to love the chatting afterwards cos there was a couple of characters there that would say the most outrageous things!! I used to get a right ol laugh at it!! :) I still fled tho over the consultant lol lol! So well done for going! Hope this week going forward will be a great one! Fingers crossed for ya xx

Hooray for the reset! One pound - you'll knock that over in no time, I expect, and from then on it's down, down, deeper and down! Cheering for you! :)

(Don't fret about replying separately to everybody - we all know what it's like to be rushed off our feet at different times.)

That´s really nice that you now have a meatspace weightloss companion!
She struggles a lot and has a lot going on in life so it’s nice to support her . She is also a good support and friend to me f

yes it does help so long as it’s not a competitive nature which I run a mile from

kate some of the ladies are a total hoot . I love the older ladies the best . They don’t take themselves seriously at all .
Thanks Amy we will get it down both of us .
Rob I feel like I did the first week I joined like it’s a fresh new start . Only difference is my reset is at 33 lbs or 34lb lighter than then ! So it’s a good restart .

I ate loads yesterday and totally on plan .
breakfast - fruit yoghurt granola
Lunch - left over pasta bake and soinach
Dinner - sweet potato fries done in air fryer , chicken breast in Cajun spices also flattened and air dried and I put it in a wholemeal Pitta with salad leaves and pickled slaw and a little light mayo .
Snacks were fruit and 20g cheese and 1 SW bar .

I think your SW plan suits you down to the ground, Petal. Delicious food, varied & on plan. Nice!

Great plan, and good food. Air fried sweet potatoes sound good! I like sweet potatoes but have not had them for a while. When I lived in Florida I grew huge sweet potatoes in the garden, and they were an invasive. We had sweet potatoes all over the yard. Your air fried ones sound good, I need to figure out how to air fry.
Had to look that one up, assuming it was some Irish delicacy, but no it just seems to be a misspelling. Or is it? No matter I am sure it was good.

They sound just great to hang around with - in fact, I'd think they'd be the star attraction. :) Yay for older women! Or rather, for women old enough to have relinquished egotism, and to be in on the joke of the universe, whatever it is.

Thank you everyone . Lol it was a misspelling. I post mostly from my phone and tbh my eyes really are not up for it .
Emily my target is another 10lb then I become a free member.

Day 3 of reset and so far keeping to plan . Making a lasagne at the moment . The Ragu looks and smells divine .
I admit though I have tummy cramps from all the fruit and salad and veg I am eating . It will settle again after a day or 2.

I went shopping today to get some anti bac gel and wipes . Nada left in the stores . I did find a few stray packets of antic bac Kleenex wipes hiding beside the tissues so I got them in the event I travel anywhere .

some shelves looked a bit empty .hope the panic buying is not going on

Wow, 10 pounds is not much at all. You've really done brilliantly.

I get constipated from too much vegetables sometimes, especially when I go from a relatively bad diet to a good one all of a sudden. It's annoying. I think our bodies just get confused.

I think the sudden increase in fiber calls for an increase in water consumption even if veg is mostly water. Otherwise it's like trying to go down a dry water slide in wet bathers

:smilielol5: This is a brilliant and helpful explanatory image!

Panic-buying is so not-helpful! I'm sorry you're finding a shortage of antibacterial wipes - for what it's worth, I've read that simple thorough hand-washing with soap after touching anything doubtful (like a stair-rail in a train station, for example, that many hands will have grabbed in the day) is as good as anything. That is, after touching anything doubtful, and before touching anything like food or anyone's face.)

Best wishes for your next weigh-in, fellow-resetter! :) I'm hoping like mad for mine, tomorrow!

Won’t reply you all as I’m flagging here . But thank you all .
yes hand washing is just as good I believe just gel and wipes conveniently held in your purse.

bit of a bad diet day but I own it and Hope tomorrow I be back on the right track again . It’s harder some days than others .

Wow, good for you, Petal. 10 pounds to go is fantastic and it looks like it's been a long journey coming up on 2 years? Do you have a plan for what you will do when you get to your GW? I will be following along and look forward to seeing how the transition goes.
