Petals diary

Hairwash and take it easy sounds just right - especially sending you all good thoughts for taking it easy on screen time. Well done on holding your own weightwise - and wishing you a good night's sleep.

deep fried butter sounds gross and like a heart attack waiting to happen
Your diary seems to be the depository of horrible foods and videos, so have you ever heard of the Heart Attach Grill in Las Vegas (Heart Attack Grill - Wikipedia )? They are dedicated to serving the highest fat and sugar food known to man. Their Octuple Bypass burger is over 8,000 calories. It first opened in Arizona, when it was there a friend invited me out to it one night, I am not sure why but we didn't go. Hopefully it was a bout of sanity that kept me away, but probably not. They have what is probably the worst diet video ever made at Heart Attack Grill .
Take care of your eyes - you only get one pair.
Good point.

Hope you had a good night's sleep and are feeling much better.
Rob isn't that the place where they'll wheel you out in a wheelchair if you finish some eating challenge within the set time and people above 500 pounds eat for free?

Oh I can’t wait to watch that later on Rob . Hee I can be the junk food diary that we all don’t eat . I am a bit fascinated with things like that I will be honest .

I think friends of mine visited that Heart Attack Grill when they were in Vegas. It sounds familiar anyway.

Deep fried butter on a stick sounds like the most disgusting thing of all time.

Glad you are holding your own on the weight front Petal, hope the eyes improve and headaches disappear.

I think so, there is also a place in Amarillo, Texas where they serve a 72 ounce (4.5 pounds or 2.04 kg) steak, it's free if you can eat it all, along with the rest of a dinner. I've never eaten at the place, but I knew a guy who worked there, he said most of the people who were successful in eating it all were not overweight. He also said that people are watched, anyone who purges is disqualified. The record is held by a 125 lb woman who ate 2 of the steak dinners in under 15 minutes.(The Big Texan Steak Ranch - Wikipedia)

I do not recommend anyone reading this actually visit the Heart Attack Grill or the Big Texan. Consider this for scientific interest or comic relief only.

That's certainly of scientific interest, on the social sciences side, about such a restaurant as the Heart Attack Grill opening (and closing) and getting customers adn community support to some extent - it has surely been a case study for something or other. Medical sciences too, I guess, given the woman who ate nine pounds of meat - not even mince, but solid steak! - in under fifteen minutes. It seems odd that the Heart Attack Grill hasn't been prosecuted for reckless endangerment, though.
Waving, Petal - and I hope you're giving your eyes a rest! :waving:

If it's the guys I'm thinking of the manager said the name of the place is the clearest warning you can give and it's people's own fault if they ignore it.

it's people's own fault if they ignore it
Yep, under US law they probably would not be liable. Giving fair warning is the standard. And I am ok with that, its places like McDonald's that can mislead. In the end I think we have to take responsibility for ourselves, and that's what folks here are doing.

I am behind with diaries . I watched that this morning rob and that is sure some diet to follow . I’m glad we are not doing it .I am back to my official weigh in this eve so I will report back them. I am not anticipating much to be honest ..
I have been pretty good but also don’t feel lighter .we shall see .

Don't fret too much about being behind with diaries, Petal - there's lots of us, and we know it takes a while to get to everything. (Especially for me this morning - the internet is playing up for some reason, and things are taking ages to load.)
Fingers crossed for your weigh-in! :)

a very definite 1.5lb loss last night
Brilliant!!! and I'm pretty sure that takes you down into the 170s, for which triumph: :party: Party, party, for you hitting the mark you set! And any time you want to visit the Club, and name the fruit of the month, come on in!! :):):) - but that takes a definite back seat to you resting and relaxing and giving your eyes a break!

(Forgot to say, in answer to something you asked somewhere - yes, based on BMI, I must be shorter than you - I'm 5' 4".)

Thank you Lama , Cate Rob and Amy.

Amy my weight is slightly higher in the night which is when I go to class so I’m actually just on 180 now . It’s veering there and I want it to be a Definite 179 before I can say I’m officially there . Thank you .
