no way. thats nothin and you know it. you need to hit somewhere around 1:45 to even be considered. :p

Maybe if we get him some Aricept (alzheimers med), he can remember to run fast. Gosh, I hope the old feller does well.

Don't encourage him! Thats peanuts for FF and HE knows it (so do we). Thats around a 9 min mile pace for goodness sakes. he can do that in his sleep. He has to be sub 1:45 to be impressive. Impossible, he can't do it.

OK- I have decided I am going to go for it at the "Trail Run." With all the runners coming to town, and everything else at the Gasparilla (MAJOR) forida event, I have no chance to win, or place well, even within my age group.

Since the ironmen are mostly cyclist intense, I may have a chance to beat them in the 'pride race' we have set, but I would rather 'place in a rqace.' I think the trail run is my best chance.

SO- I am going for it. And if I don't die, or get hurt, I will also put a lil something into Gasparilla-- but my plan is to hit that trail half marathon and SPEND IT BABY! Willing to Suffer!

last night

run:2.5 miles. Carolyn ran her first complete mile without stopping- 11:30.

watched a movie and stretched, stretched, stretched.

had my last desert until after the race- I am officially in sugar detox and remorse.

work hard, train hard, play hard, and LIVE LARGE!

sweat daily!

So are you signed up for both? I'm starting to lose track of your races. Your son and wife are doing the Gasparilla too right? SO what you're saying is you're going to put all your efforts into the trail run and do the gasparilla more for fun? Why the emphesis on placing? Aren't you just looking to set a PR? oh yeah, you're you-dumb question :)

Power cleans- 8 X 3, supersetted with pullups 8 x 5 (altering grips)

reverse flys 3 x 12

cable reverse twisters 3 X 15

SPIN CLASS- Iron Hill intervals

Powercleans 2 X 3

bend over and moans 2 X 12

run: 5K with TJ 31:42:31 - can you believe it! he is supposed to run 2 miles on the training plan I gave him, and he says, let's just do the whole 5K dad! Where does he get that?

Georgen- 10 sets of 3 is alot harder and 3 sets of 10 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

took last night off and went to see Spirit of the Marathon.

and two days ago, I didn't list the shrugs!

BUT- I had done 3 X 10 with 50's in each hand.

I kept my shoulders back Georgen and the motion was shorter- but my dang upper traps are sooooo sore today. Thanks for the "no cheating" note.

Tonight I will run, swim, steam and stretch.
 
Give us your sub 2 hour time tomorrow. IT'S EXPECTED!!!!

Oh yeah, and, don't break anything!
