Pequin Weight Journal

Evening, long day. Very tired. Bleh..

W - I'm a freelance graphic designer. I've worked from my parent's house for the past 3 years since graduation, making just enough to pay my bills. I've been looking for a job outside the house so that I don't have to just get by. Being sick doesn't help the situation but since I started the weightloss, illness hasn't been as big an issue (thank god!) I do not get any kind of governement check, just help from my parents.

Thanks for dropping by everyone... need to sleeeeep.
ZzzZZZzzzZzz....

It's gorgeous outside today! They're expecting highs in the lower 60s. Yay for spring, yay yay yay!! :D:D

Today is my Dad's birthday. Mom is going to be making a double chocolate cake and I've agreed to make Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo. Mmm... must remember to be very good with my food this afternoon and make sure to exercise.

Yeah, my parents are fantastic, very pateint with me to say the least.
I agree, a sugardaddy would be super. And Mr. Giggles as my sugardaddy would be even better!! *day dreams*...lol. ;)

It amazes me that every time I come into this thread you're right on top form with lots of good excercise and a brilliant diet. How do you keep this up week in week out? I need your resolve! :)

That's sweet but trust me - some days are much harder than others. I feel like I've been a real slackass the past couple of weeks. My determination comes from the fact that I've scared to death of going back to that 340+lb mark.

Do you post on Spark as well?

Yup - I've been using Spark since I first got here. I think Mal recommended it in a newbie threat. I love it - not sure I would have made it this far without it because writing the stuff down and doing the math would have been too much like work...lol. ;)

My beautiful day has dissolved into a batch of thunderstorms and flooding. If it were warmer I'd be out playing in the stuff but sadly it's only 50 degrees out. So I feel like a kid stuck indoors during recess. :p

Mr. Giggle's portfolio website layout is nearly done! Just a few tweaks and then it's on to the illustrations and figuring out how to post those. Hmmm....

Have a wonderful day everyone!! :D:D:D

Howdy Amy,
Lol I was awoke at 5 AM ny a crash boom bang.......
It is warm out but can't walk in the thunderstorms BLAH! cAN'T WAIT
TO SEE YOUR WORK (WEBSITE). Hope you have a nice day and get some
indoor exersices in (boring but gotta do it);) Tammy

Hi Amy! busy=good! when I'm bored, I eat so I like to double book myself...lol. Imagine me, running from one appointment to the next while simultainiously talking on my cell phone and rummaging through my backpack for important documents with mascara smeared across my face, my hair a mess and my five year old tagging behind me in his soccer uniform...thats me on any given weekday. NOw sunday mornings I have problems dealing with...what does a girl do at five am when she's wide awake and the landfill, grocery store and coffee shop have yet to open? Keep up the good work, I love that after all this time and all these pounds you are still in the spirit of it all.

Last Week: 273
This Week: 275.5

+2.5. I'm so frustrated with this, I lose a little then gain it all back. I don't know what to do! And I kind of want to cry right now.

This week, while I have been in range most days - it's been the high end and what I've eaten hasn't been the healthiest choice I could have made. Plus my exercise has been minimal compared to a just few weeks ago when I was losing weight like a champ.

I forgot to take my measurements last month, so went ahead and did that today: - 3.5" all around. It's ok - but not great.

So my question is: Is this a plateau? And if so - how to I fix it?
Advice would be fantastic. Thanks!

Oh we are soooo in the same boat. I'm now officially blaming on the full moon. Feel free to scapegoat with me. Well, *holds up glass of water* heres to weight gain! Cheers! Hope you have a good weekend.

I blame my plateau on a seasonal slump. Can't get outside to enjoy the weather, cuz the weather's crap. Cheer up, you'll get over this. I was feeling the same way the last couple of weeks, but now that I've joined Spark it's like I'm re-motivativng myself. Taking another outlook on the situation. Haven't lost anymore. But I'm feeling better about what I'm doing. You've just got to find your groove again~~~~~~

Hope you have a great weekend!
