I'm dead tired today, will post more tomorrow. I just wanted to start this journal tonight. I saw some pictures of me that blew me away...:banghead:

I'm extremely scared of going on the scale...but I forced myself to get on it tonight before my shower. I swear, I felt like a coward.:banghead::banghead::nopity:

well done for recognising your need to change - weight loss diary is an excellent way to stay motivated :)
I do feel though that setting a time limit can sometimes only lead to disappointment/frustration and that it can be a better decision to view this as a lifestyle change where weight loss will come naturally through a healthier way of life.

So, I did some extensive research and found my diary from bodybuilding.com

and let me just say that my diet was SO on key and exercise was definitely intensity-driven (and endurance). Diet was hella clean, dropping 3 pounds/day even eating after a workout session.

I must forecast my diet plan and exercise plan

9am- 1/2 medium apple, 2 kiwi
11am- spinach salad with chicken, tomato, olives, peas, red onion, and thousand island dressing
4pm- 1 easy mac package, 5 oz of chicken breast, 1 scoop of soymilk protein powder, 2 hardboiled whole eggs
8pm- 4 small sweetpotatoes
12am- hotpot w/ beef, potstickers, vermicelli noodles, shrimp, and alot of that viet hot sauce

Hang in there! It looks like your diet is just fine, but quit weighing yourself so much! Pick one time a day to weigh yourself and never weight outside of that (I know im the lightest in the very morning after I wake up) weighing yourself multiple times throughout the day is just going to make you miserable! Also, maybe weighing just once a week might be something to try. Then little slip ups arent as noticeable. Don't give up--people are rootin' for ya :)

Mariah- yeahhhhhhh...I had a panic fit last night. I felt so stupid, but I kept drinking water until i fell asleep to get rid of the salt! eugh! I didn't weigh myself this morning...I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning! I WILL have a good day today =]

Discipline- So on my campus bakery, they sell peach/rasberry coppler on tuesdays and thursdays (i've gotten it so much that i know the schedule, how sad!) and it is so freakin good...and so worth it for the amount they give!!
So when I made this diary, peach cobbler was what I was thinking about....peach cobbler symbolizes as all the gooey goodness i'm giving up for my health!

So folks,

I didn't exactly cry in bed, but I DID go to bed with a frown on my face (oh no! wrinkles at the age of 20!!)

I woke up, thinking about all the finals I have this week and thought I can only change day by day and can't expect things to come so easily or instantly...

I'll be sipping on green tea all day since i'll be home. I'm aiming for 10 cups!

I plan on hitting the gym later tonite, around 11pm, so the gym can finally be empty so i can LIFT some weights. I crave lifting!!

1030am- 1 kiwi, 1 cup of hotpot leftovers (90% beef) I DIDN"T DRINK THE SOUP
1pm- 2 sweet potatoes
430pm- 2 packets of easy mac, 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of oat and nuts toast, 1 tbsp of cream cheese, 1 serving of baked lays potato chips
8pm- 1 scoop of protein powder in 12 oz water

I put most of my food in fitday and with the beef from the morning, I ate about 2000 calories

So I'm getting rid of all the food in this house before spring break cause I won't be here for like 10 days!

So I didn't get to work out tonight because the gym closed at 10pm! WHAT THE HELL! Yeah, okay it's FINALS week, but gosh, student employment sucks.

I wasted gas driving those 5 town-miles to freaking see a dark building. At least diet was better (than the past 2 months?) and I downed SO much water. yay!

Tomorrow...will be a good day! =] I need to stop eating so many carbs though...

I would really like see at LEAST 187 by next Wednesday morning. Hopefully, this vacation will be occupied with lots of walking, dancing, and minimal food binges.

The next thing that needs to get eaten in this house is whole wheat pasta and 2 salmon fillets. I have alot of oats...sigh*

I am searching for a freaking stationary bike so I can workout at home, rather than traveling out to get a good workout...I couldn't find anything. I wanted something for like $50 off craigslist, but nothing!!! >=[

I better be like 197 tomorrow..*drinking two more cups of water*

Okay, so I didn't get around to drinking 2 cups of water before bed, hahahaha...but drinking 10 cups of water yesterday helped, i believe!

Today, i'm heading out to campus for a few meetings and work, so I'll pick up a salad from the salad bar. I LOVE my nutritious rich foods with a dab of thousand island dressing, but I think I will pass and get the vinaigrette. But I will be biking all day today, rather than driving my fat ass around (My work is a solid 5 miles away from my house, with the campus being in the midpoint)

I'm SLIGHTLY disappointed be, because when I would diet before, I would lose 10 pounds in 10 days (that's a combo of decrease calorie intake + hardcore cardio 6x/week). Now i'm not doing that extreme cardio, nor am i drastically dropping my calorie intake, well, I have to do something if I want to see high 180s by the time I get on the plane for san diego.

I can finally see the top of my thighs though, I was bloated this whole time, but with increasing water and a somewhat limitation on what foods i eat, it made such a difference!

oh shoot...why am I gassy?...oh no

Good morning everyone who stops by! lol!

Well..the weightloss is slow, but happening! :driving: So I have no grounds to complain about that! Anything loss is better than zero loss! I had FRENCH FRIES and a freakin HOTDOG(s) and I still had a weight loss...I am amazed! I am almost convinced that it is all about calorie expenditure, at the end of the day, I better be at a negative!

I developed this double chin with the recent weight gain, that i feel ALL the time, I can't wait until I wake up and NOT feel that bloatedness under my face! My stomach area definitely feels tighter though, I used to wake up bloated all the time! Not anymore!

10am- 1 cupcake size bran muffin, 1 medium banana
330pm- 1 cup of white rice, 2 eggs fried, 6 oz of salmon, 1/2 cup of seaweed, 1/3 cup of greens (korean side dish nah-moo)

I know you warned me earlier about weighing myself too much, but it has definitely NOT turned into a habit where that is why I come home between classes or something I constantly think about. I will loosen up on it once I go back to being under 180, until then...I can't hit a plateau until then!

Gosh, I never realized how freaking salty korean food is...I suspect 10 cups+ of water today. I'm on my 7th right now...
 
Wow...I used to only drink at most 3 cups of water a day

now I'm way over half a gallon....yikes, I hope my body won't panic and crash. I should incorporate things slowly in my life...slowly.....

Just a few thoughts before I keep studying, omg, I can't wait for finals to be over!!!!

Friday at 5:30pm. Official Spring Break begins!! I'm going down to SD with my best friend and seeing my friends down there, and hopefully go on catalina island!

Ahh...the motivation I need to keep my momentum up..woot woot!

I only slept 5 hours....I felt sooo shitty after finals...I know i didn't perform well, I feel so fcuked. sigh*

I went shopping today to have clothes for San Diego, it's unfortunate that I'm not under my usual baseline weight which is like 170, but I NEED to be comfortable and have clothes that fit while i'm vacation!...I found just a few clubbing tops, it just sucks being fat. period. buying more clothes because of the weight gain, sucks.

I went to sonics because I really wanted some junk food, and i ended up not finishing my fries, which is gooooood, but after that meal, i got acid reflux in the esophagus...it's pretty damaging to the lining, so i hope it goes away soon. I'll drink some water to help it out

I'm going home and I'm not going to take my scale! (see, i told you, i'm not attached to it!)

I'll be using my brother's scale just to monitor my progress, going down, whatever number i start at would be nice.

My goal was 187 for wednesday, and i really think i can do it!! going home has so many temptations though!

I plan to hit up the local gym (24hr fitness) so I hope to get a KICK ASS THOROUGH workout, which includes some heavy lifting!!! yessssssssssss! I'll definitely increase my water intake to another 6+ cups. I don't want sodium to be the reason i hold my weight.

Alot of weight lifting didn't happen, way too many people were there...I should go later in the night
