Could all you fine people tell me if you think I am over training.
I'm doing a 2 day split with my weight training, doing each split twice a week.
monday/thursday
bench, incline bench, flies
overhead tricep extensions, tricep kickbacks, and dips
squat, deadlift, lunges.
tuesday/friday
barbell curls (with curl bar), dumbell curls
military press, shoulder flies, upright row
heavy pants (not sure what the real name is, think pulling up a heavy pair of pants) and back flies.
i don't have a pull up bar or i would do pull ups too.
i try to include cardio before lifting and on some of my days off. cardio is usually straight cardio on my elliptical (about 30 minutes) or HIIT on my elliptical (22 minutes, including warm up/down)
i'm looking to shed fat, and slim down. i don't want to overtrain and sabotage my efforts to effectively slim down.
