Hello!
I am training for a 1/2 marathon and am up to 7 miles. I am following Hal Higdon's schedule and I found I love running. Yesterday was 7 miles, the most ever for me. Afterwards, and still a little this morning, the outer projections of my knees are in pain. :bncry:I took a bath, ibuprofen, and used vicks vapor rub and that helped a little. This morning is it much better but still there. I think it happened because I was slightly rolling my foot out due to blister pain. Please answer a few questions for me:
-Is this iliotibial band pain?
-What is the best way to heal it?
-What can I do to prevent it (are there strength training exercises I should do to keep it strong?)
Thanks!
