One pound at a time

wow i hope i can run again like that. I miss the runners high i use to get about the 2 mile mark. well someday perhaps......... great job keep it up
 
Did not get done with work yesterday until 10:00 PM so thats when I ran, I did not want to run at all I was so tired. Got done a little after 11:00 PM.

Then I got up at 5:30 AM to run this morning. I think I need my head examined.

My goal has been 15 Mins. a mile. My new goal is 14 Mins. a mile.

I have eaten well the last two days.

Wed. 4 miles no time

Thurs. 4 miles 51:27

Are we bored yet?

I think I'm in a rut. All is good all is well Im eating well nothing is a challenge. Ran at 2:00 PM & it was 99 degrees & even that was not a challenge.

sorry to hear about the rut, but you're making progress with the running the time is getting shorter way to go!!! with the holiday coming up do you have any plans?? Do you get time off of work???? it's a good weekend to mix it up a bit
 
smallerbytheday, I'm really doing good, just not a lot to say when its the same everyday with your diet & your on track. Not doing anything this weekend. Haven't been paid for 2 months, so were stuck in town. But we will be paid 4 times in the next 4 weeks (thats real estate). Are you doing anything?

Got up early 5:30 AM to do my run. I did not even know there was a 5:30 AM until I started running. It sure feels good that I'm not running when its almost 100 degrees. Today will be a good day I'm sure. If anything other than good I'll repost latter. This is the last day I work until the 5Th. of July.

Ran this at 6:00 AM it felt cool it was 72, when I got done it was 78. After one mile I turned my stop watch off, I think I need to just relax a little bit on my running. It was a good day yesterday, no it was a great day. Weigh in tomorrow I hope I will get my 5 Lbs., I will be happy with 4 Lbs. more than 5 I will be thrilled, less than 4 I will not be a happy camper. I have 3 days off I'm so excited, don't plan on doing a thing, except eating to much. After all I have my birthday coming up.

I think it was a good idea for you not to time yourself...and maybe just enjoy it a little more. Running is such a great thing and sometimes people forget to enjoy it. Hope the losses work in your favor! Sounds like you are doing great.

Weigh-In & Running

Had a great week with my weight loss :) 6.5 Lbs. :cool: this week, down from 230.25. My goal this next week will be 5 Lbs.

I ran :) 13.3 Miles:cool: today (that is correct). That is a little over 1/2 marathon. I feel very confident that when I get down to 160 Lbs. I will now be able to run a marathon. This is the furthest I have ever run, by 3.3 miles. A long way for some one that weighs 223.75 Lbs. It was something I have been thinking of doing for a little while. But I was going to do it tomorrow on my birthday but decided to do it a day early & take tomorrow off.

I've just been browsing your diary and I can identify with that feeling of losing control over food ie. if one packet of crisps tastes good then 10 packets must taste 10 times as good! Very interesting your initial 2 week method of cutting a 'bad' thing from your lifestyle. Anyway your story is quite inspirational.

Great Day

Its a great day when you can fit into a different size of clothes. We all know that feeling. Two weeks ago I could not fit into size 38 waist. Today those same shorts fit yeah. So I'm sure they all will. I did my 4 mile run today. I told my wife I would only do one or two miles to keep my streak alive. But it was Early and everyone was sleeping & I felt good so one mile turned into another. It is my birthday & I'm getting so old (48). I can say one thing I'm a heck of lot younger than last year. If I would have run 13.3 miles a year ago (like I did yesterday) I would have been dead right now.

hillbillylee, I will totally be bad food wise today. Won't have sugar though. Can't seem to control myself when I have it so I'll do without for a while. Or maybe forever.

We went out to breakfast & I had a ham & cheese omlette, potatoes, & muffin.

Had a good day, had a big lunch so I don't get dinner I hate when that happens. Did 4.5 miles today, really slow, did a lot of walking. Our son got a job & doesn't get off until 11:00 PM & I have to pick him up. He better get his drivers license pretty quick.
