OLUX'S Weight Loss Diary

HAAH, OK! That's it, I promise. I won't post anymore photos of my hair. I just love it so much! Hair and makeup can totally make or break someone's look.

Today was uneventful. Just relaxed, worked out, did some homework. I need to just get all my work done and study hard this week so I can go out next weekend! My best friend is turning 21 in a few days so a bunch of my sorority sisters and I are heading into San Francisco for a few days at the end of next week to party it up! I'm glad the challenge will be over so I can drink a lot and not feel like I'm going to let my team down. I'M SO EXCITED THAT ALL MY FRIENDS WILL FINALLY BE 21! I bought a black dress yesterday to go out in! I can't wait to wear it. :) YAYYY!

Olux-hey there you little temptress you (reference to the black dress LOL) I notice that I slacked while you busted it this week and now you are the biggest looser!! You surpassed my butt like I was standing still, good work!!!! I surely hope you will post black dress pictures!!!

I use Photoshop to add in effects! :) I'm sure you can download a trial version online but after the trial is over, I think it's a little pricey. If you want, I can always add stuff onto photos for you! :) I don't mind - so you don't have to fork over the money for it.

AND YEAHH THANKSS GIRL! I can't wait to see 149 on the scale! I know it'll probably take me another week or two but I can feel it! I'm hoping I can see it by February's end! :hurray:

Yeah I was looking at it after I read your post and it doesn't seem like I'm eating very much. I got tired of counting calories so I just estimated what I was eating and tried to eat healthy. I didn't really lose any weight the last week or two and it could be because I haven't been eating enough. I think once I saw my weight not dropping as fast anymore, I got scared and cut back more food which ultimately kind of hurt me. No worries, I'm all back to heffer mode this week! OM NOM NOM NOM! OK, not really. But you know what I mean! :) Thanks for catching that!

Great beginning to a short week! :) My extensions are clipped in so I've been taking them out when I'm at home or at the gym. They're just SO DARN HEAVY! I'd wear them to the gym but I'm afraid one might fall out while I'm running and get caught in the machine. With my luck, that would TOTALLY HAPPEN. :D

HEY YOU! GOSHH YEAH we need to talk! I'm sure there's so much stuff to catch up on. AND THANKSS I've been really trying hard to get down to my goal weight as quickly as possible while staying healthy. I can't wait to get down to 149 because then I'll feel like I'm on the home stretch! It's like a marathon - GOTTA FINISH STRONG! PUSH THROUGH! :) Hope you're doing well!

YAY! I just finished a 50 minute cardio session at the gym! FEELING GREAT! Food today has been pretty good too and now I'm just waiting for my fish to finish cooking. I haven't lost as much weight these last two weeks but I also haven't really been working out as hard as I should. Even when I did my 60 minutes of cardio, it would be easy stuff like sitting on a bike and going slowly. NO MORE OF THAT! Only QUALITY workouts allowed! I want to hit 149 by the end of this month and I'm only going to get there if I kick my ass into gear. LET'S GO! :)

I ran into two guy friends I haven't seen since last semester. I was running late to class and one yells "HEY!" So we stop to talk for a quick second and he just blurts "Whoa, you look skinny!" I was like, "THANKS FOR NOTICING!" BUT YEAHH that feels great! I've also noticed that in the past, whenever I took photos, I'd want to be behind someone because I was so big. Now I don't mind so much because my body doesn't take up the whole photograph! YEAHHH! :)

OK OFF TO BE PRODUCTIVE. Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement! I know without you guys and this forum, I would still be sitting on my butt, eating french fries at 185 lbs. YOU ARE FABULUOS!

Im 44 yo and have loss 25kg since 20year ago. I have manage to maintain my weight loss to this day becos i stick to low card diet.

Contrary to what people think about low card protein sparing diet, it is more than a short term weight loss program. you can build a lifestyle around it and keep weight off permanently.

I see many weight watchers with an entire list of food exercise routine to follow and i think to myself i can't be doing that for 20years!!!

Don't get me wrong...i think these are good but too much of a hastle for me. OF course you will need to eat the right kinda food and do exercise which is good for your health.

In protein sparing diet you ask yourself one important question. Am i in ketosis ( which is a result of fat burning )
If you are, you are burning fats, otherwise you can go on diet forever and never loose weight....that's what i like about the diet, it's so scientify and don't leave much to guessing.

Awesome job with the workout!

It probably feels so good to run into someone you havent seen in a while and have them notice your weightloss! Way to go hun! You'll be at 149 in no time!
