Older, Wiser, but still fat...

Hey Karl... That's a bummer when the scale doesn't move like we want it to... I'm sorry :( But that probably does mean you'll have a huge loss next week :) So just hang in there buddy and keep working at it. We all seem to have our good weeks and bad weeks, shoot, it actually changes from day to day... So keep up the good attitude and you still rock in my eyes, loss this week or not because you're sticking with it :hurray: So you just keep a going okay and I'll be peeking in on ya... :hugs2: :seeya:

It's a conspiracy I tell you!!!

Oiay I switched wheels out on my raod bike last week because I broke the valve on my rear tire. It was quicker to switch to my spare set then fix the tire. So, spare set out of commission, rigt?

Had a flat over the weekend on the good set, flatted the second tube, and haven't been able to get to the bike shop yet.

So I used my newer mountain bike. Had a nice ride Monday through the woods. Went to get on it today, back wheel is out of true because I snapped a spoke.

One last chance, grabbed my old mountain bike out of the shed, pumped up the tires.. never mind, the back one has a hole in it...

So, final tally, 3 bicycles, and a total of 4 sets of wheels, and not one complete running bike between them.

Guess I'll be doing some maintenance this week.

So I walked for an hour to make up for my lack of cycling. This is a good thing too! We had cheeseburgers for dinner :drool5: you know, homemade on the grill cheeseburgers, with potato salad...

I'm over my calories for the day :( I will not get my bonus points this week in the challenge I'm in.

Based upon my daily plate, I'm still in a deficit, but I wen't over my self enforced limits with today. The net is I shouldn't have done any real damage, but I'm not entirely happy with my control.

3461 cal, 131g fat, 435g carbs, 143g protein. Daily plate has me as burning just shy of 1000 cal between my hour of walking and my 30 minutes of working out. I'm okay and didn't lose control completely, but I'm not entirely happy with it.
 
I could imagine what that looks like....but do you dress em in lil pink hoodies too? (your shih tzu's) Oh you know....I think that is just the TYPE of woman that they are snoody work-out stroller pusher's..HAHAHa Seriously I JUST remembered coming along side of one today, she knew I was comin up behind her too, cuz she kept looking over her shoulder (my keys jingle in my pocket) and she had this snot look on her face every time...ok....and she actually (could have been my imagination, cuz I am a negative thinker) deliberately moved into the middle of the whole sidewalk, so I had to go by just about on the grass!!! LMAO BITCH ;)

No my little doggies are sort of raggedy mops, they don't wear bows or hoodies or anything. I agree on the soccer mom thing. I don't think its intentional though, I honestly think they simply don't realize that anyone other than themselves even exists... Until you say something to them.
 
ahh well maybe, she did happen to be on the right hand side the whole time it took me to just get up to her.....and than again it probably wasn't intentional. I thought it was funny though. :)

I believe that ppl that don't know that anyone else other than themselves exist, still do not grasp the concept, of no matter what it is you say to them, they just don't get it. They're already having a hard time understanding that there are other's in this world and you can't just plow through them, they're not going to understand why someone would question them.
 
That my dear, is an astute observation, both literally and metaphorically. I've met so many people like that...

Hell, I'm related to a bunch. My own family is pretty much just like that. Shallow, self centered... I love them to pieces, but they get on my nerves... My sister absolutely doesn't even realize that is the way she is. My brother does, but it doesn't change him, he just jokes about it.

That sucks big donkey balls!!! hahaha..(mine and my mom's original expression ;) ) You'll get em up and running soon, I know you and you will find things to do for working out in the meantime because that's just the kind of person you are... You are SOOO Motivated :) As for the snooty little bitches in the world... yeah, they don't have a clue about who or what other people are about. They think they're the center of the universe and I feel sorry for them... That's sad because they will never know the satisfaction of showing a little courtesy to others... Oh well, their loss... I don't know how tall you are or how much you weigh, but I'm 5'3 and weigh 234. I just started riding bicycle almost 2 weeks ago. I was extremely self-conscious at first, but now I don't give a shit. lol.

Cabbie, don't get too down on the stupid scale. I bet you'll have a good week next week, and if you don't well.....
 
Awe man that sucks about the bikes!! Hope you can get some rolling soon enough.

I think it's hilarious that you have those "dogs". My lab would probably eat yours for breakfast.
 
My road bike is rolling again. I got 16 miles in this afternoon, 1 hour total time.

Eating was good, in the sense that I knew I was going out tonight and paid for it in advance. I was a little sparse up front on the day and I gave myself a colorie bank to work off of with the exercise.

3265 claories, 114g fat, 411g carbs, 123g protein.

I've got stuff going on right this minute so I'll be back later...

PEC, definitely happy to be riding again. I want to step it up a little bit more too, but finding the time is the hard part. I'd really like to start going for at least one long ride each week in the 25 + mile range in additional to my normall rides in the week, but time always seems to get short.
