Congrats on the new love interest. I totally know what you mean about being scared of the fall. My track record with men is atrocious!!! When I met my current b/f I didnt want anything other than friendship from him. But then he started to grow on me and then one day he did the most sweetest awesomest thing for me when I was really in a time of need and I just couldnt say no to him anymore. We have been together for a year and a half now and I still love him as much now as I did that day he was there for me. It's hard to believe and noone is as skeptical as I am but there are some really awesome men out there - you just have to be ready when he comes knocking on your door.

Remember the old saying " A Hard Man is Good to Find"....oops, freudian slip, I mean "A Good Man is Hard to Find" :p hehehe

Trust your instincts, and dont let something good slip away cuz of your past experiences. Live in the now!!! Besides, you will strain your neck always looking behind you. ;)

I'm slowly feeling better, thank goodness. After these past few days I've decided that I'm definitely investing in the Kleenex company! :p
 
Oh girl I have, but my nose STILL hurts. This will definitely be a sound financial investment. I think I doubled their shares alone this week! :p

Thank God! My mom and my dad divorced when I was 18 months, and my real dad's a big jerk. She remarried a man who doesn't like kids when I was 5 years old, they got divorced when I was 13, When I was 16 she remarried to a man who is just not very loving towards me, but it's ok, I was too old by then for a new father figure anyway. My mother never took my brother into account when she remarried and that has really affected my relationship with men. I'm so glad that your number one priority is your daughter. :) I hope your nose starts to feel better :( talk to you later hun :)
