Well done with the exercise you are doing great and 1500 calories with ice cream and starbucks I am impressed! Don't worry about the gain, it is probably water weight and this time next week you will have totally forgotton about it and be back to normal! Keep up the great work and i hope you are having a good day!

I'm doing well today. Yesterday I got to exercise my upper body. I was really hungry after dinner, and had a rice-crispie. When I added up everything I ate, it was only 1300 calories, no wonder I was starving! Was still hungry this morning too.

Since I've stepped up weight training (and started tracking my calories again) I've been hungrier, I hope that means I'm burning more.

No progress on the scale yet, but I'm waiting untill Sunday to start hoping for a change.

Tonight I'm planning on lower body workout again.

Thank you, Red and Paper Moon for your support! I got accidently stirred off by going to ColdStone Creamery with a colleague when we went out for lunch, so unfortunately I got some extra calories, but I'll just have to do some extra cardio work tonight and make sure I eat sensibly for the rest of the week.
 
hey NTL you're putting me to shame with all the exercise you're doing. We're having a heat wave in Scotland and as us bairns are not used to temperatures over -3oC we're all finding it hard to cope!:eek: Hope the rest of your week is as good as the first half!
 
Thanks, Crunchie! Well, I'm still quite ways away before I catch up with you on exercise. My 20 min a day don't even compare. :) But hey, at least I'm moving in the right direction, right? :)

Its been above 30 for the last week in US where I am. We'll be lucky if we see 25-28 any time soon. With high humidity it is really oppressive.
 
Well, my body was slightly sore and tired yesterday, so I did not do weights, however, I did some rope jumping. It was not large amount, but I did get my heart rate up for a few minutes. I think I did about 150 hops. I'm definitely getting better at it, and I was not huffing and puffing nearly as much as I used to. Unfortunately all that hopping was bothering my ancles, so I had to be gentle and stop sooner rather then later.

Tonight is horse riding night, so I'll get plenty of exercise. Calories yesterday came out about 1600, with estimated ice cream, but its not too bad. Will be shooting for lower number today.
 
Ride was good yesterday - was really tired! Calories came out to 1500. I'd like to be a bit more low, closer to 1350, but I was so hungry last night after a ride and had to eat something...

Planning on doing weights tonight. Saturday may go to a horse show, so will be good on exercise then.
 
Saturday did not workout for a horse show, unfortunately, but it was better because I was so tired! Not getting enough sleep during the week really cought up with me. Also, did not do my weights Saturday because I was still feeling sore from the ride on Thursday, and I have to have my body recover. Mostly just cleaned and re-organized around the house and ran few errands, which was my exercise.

Friday we went out and I had half a bottle of wine with appertizer and cheesecake, Saturday we had boiled crab legs and boiled shrimp. Good on calories, but not so good on sodium, so I gained 2.5 lbs this morning. Its a bit depressing, especially since I was hoping to see some kind of progress by the end of this week, since I was fairly good all week. But, alas, the water gain is preventing that. So, I'm a bit depressed on that front. But as we all said before, I can't let the little number on the scale control me. Today I'm going riding and I'm going to work hard on some of the things I need to work on, and I need to keep drinking!

So the goal for today is to drink a lot and to stay under 1500 calories.

Yes, great attitude...no letting that scale control us!!!! AND, i'm sure it is water anyways from the wine....drink a lot today...water, that is!! have a good one.
 
Ok, lost one of the lbs I gained yesterday, so that's good. The goal is still the same - drinking as much as I can and eating under 1500. I'm not sure I hit my goal yesterday, but I sure was close. Will try to add it all up in a few. Today I'm going riding again (yeah!). It is really making me burn a lot of calories - I was so tired yesterday! I'm trying to get back to my ticker weight, but I'm only 1 lb away, and hopefully it is all water.

So my goal for the week is drink lots, stay under 1500, exercise, and hopefully by the end of the week to get back to 131, or even lower?
 
looking good ntl. enjoy the riding!! i'm sure that 1 lb is water weight and you'll be changing that ticker in NO time..to lower!! keep it up!!!
 
Ok, I'm back to 131 this morning (yeah!) Whew! Feel like I dodged the bullet. :)

Keeping with my goal for yesterday and today. Am super busy(before vacation), so may not post as often and small time for exercising, but hope to get some in. Riding was fun and really great exercise.
 
what exercising are you planning for vacation? going anywhere good? :) dont forget planning - it makes a HUGE difference in your "comeback". I knew that 1 lb would be gone in no time!!
