Nothing To Loose - That is the goal

Thanks! Even if it is water drop, it is still the new low (yeah!). I think it still means progress, although I'm not going to take the number literally. :)

You Are Doing Awsome And You Will Rock That Ticker Soon I Am So Proud Of You Because You Have Such Determination And You Keep Pushing On I Know You Can Do This!

Hey well done, the scales are going down, that combined with your messurement drop, surely means that you are starting to see the results you have been waiting for. Congrats

Thank you, all! Wow, so much support in my diary. What a pleasant surprize. :)

Unfortunately, the bike ride did not happen yesterday because it was seiously threatening to rain all afternoon, but today I am definitely going for it. No exuses!

Did not do anything yesterday (got a new book in the mail yesterday, and was consumed by it longer then I should have been), but I did almost 20 minues of calisthenics this morning and my muscles are sore! The good news is that I am starting to see a tiny bit of definishion top of my stomack, its nothing to brag about, but it feels really good to see the progress on my body. So, I am glad all these crunches are working.

Have not calculated cals for yesterday yet, but I don't think they were above 1400. Steps were 3000.

Ha-ha-ha! Thanks, NL! Today is definitely a bike ride outside day. My hubby is going, so won't be able get out of that one! LOL. :)

Ok, well, I thought that yesterday would be bike outside day, but it was not. It was too cold and my hubby chickened out. But, I still exercised! I did stationary bike and some jumping rope, however, I ran into a problem: my right knee was complaining during biking, and when I started using jump rope, my right ancle did not like it at all! I am only 29, I should not have joint problems yet! The funny thing is that when I use real bike, my knee is absolutely fine, but the stationary one its not! Rrrrr. Anyone knows what I should do to prevent it?
Calories should be ok for yesterday.
Tonight I am looking forward to riding, which is really easy on joints, so I should be fine! Or, today I weighed at 133.5, but it is most definitely water loss. But I'm glad I'm clearing 135 barrier. Hopefully all this exercise and upping calories is working.

I Would Say Its The Bike Positioning Maybe The Seat And Stuff Could Be Adjusted To Your Real Bike Settings! You Are Doing Awsome Keep Up The Great Work!

RNW, I think you're right, its the adjustment on the bike. The stationary one you cant lean forward, you're sitting upright, so the leg is at some weired angle. The street bike positions my body leaning forward about 45 degrees, so you use muscle power instead of joints to pedal. Makes a whole lot of difference!
I'll have to play with the stationary bike settings...

Good morning all! Well, I went riding yesterday, and it was good. Calorie wise were slightly high - almost 1500, but since it was exercise day, AND I walked just over a mile at lunch, I think overall I still burned more then I ate. I'm still at 133.5, but I'm sure its water. HowEVER... I fit into really old jeans smaller size (yes, they are stretch, and the fit is tight, but its better then not wearing them at all). Whoo-hoo! I'll wait a few more days to change my ticker. ;)

Ok, onto bad part... I was changing in work's bathroom yesterday, took off my phone and pedometer and forgot to put them back on. This morning they are gone!!! I really hope I find my phone.

NTL I'm so sorry to hear about your phone!!! That really sucks. Is there a lost & found some place they may of turned it in to? Have you tried calling it to see if anyone answers? Good luck!!! Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yeah, my husband tried calling it earlier, but no one picked up. I'll try calling it again in a few minutes. It has not turned up yet at two most logical places: receptionist and office manager, although our regular receptionist is gone today for some reason, and we have a temp, she may not know about it. I really hope that I find it, because I have a lot of people's phone numbers in there.

I really hope you find it also. I know the feeling and probably everyone else here, on misplacing your phone. Well, you are looking good. Keep it up, don't forget your WATER:D

Hi, all, I took a short break from dieting (not from exercise though) and from being on this forum. I am back now and need to kick myself back into gear. Friday, Sat and Sun were bad food-wise, and I did not drink enough so needless to say my water weight is up. I'm working on getting more water in today, and staying under 1400 cals, and actually writing down what I'm eating.

Today is riding for exercise, so I should be good.

Ok, riding was good yesterday. My barn moved to another property, and it does not have as large distances, and everything is close together, so I don't get to walk as much. Guess that leaves me with more energy to ride, although not as good for overall weight loss. Also, I was very hungry last night after ride, and as a result exceeded my calories for the day.

On plus side, I keep going down to 133.5, so I am still slimming down!

Planning to workout tonight (need to do some strength training and cardio), unless TOM will hit me tonight really bad.

Good news: My hubby wants to build some muscle, as dieting with me has caused him to loose muscle and fat. So, we are thinking of getting one of those "total workout" home gyms machines- kind of like bowflex, but instead of bows the resistance is electronic, so its not as bulky. The one he wants to get is Wielder's Platinum Pro. Anyone had any experience with it?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it because it will give me some help in building muscles as well. I'm a bit tired of having only one option for squats and only one weight to do them with - mine! LOL.

that is great about your husband wanting to tone up as well. that definitely helps. down to 133.5. HOORAY! change your ticker, girl!! that is awesome. Get on that bike!!

S

Thanks! Yes, its much easier to get motivated once you see progress. Last time I was on the bike, I actually felt toned and strong, not so out of shape and weak, as I used to. I'm off to change my ticker. ;)

Speaking of motivation... Now that I've lost pretty much everything I gained in the last cycle, I feel "normal" again. Now, I'm just "barely" out of "overweight" category and my fat % is nowhere near normal, and I have at least another 9 lbs to go (if not 19), but... I've noticed that I'm not as motivated to stick to low cal diet. I'm more likely to say "well, I lost so much, and I feel good and light, so I can splurge a little(or a lot)". Another exuse is exercise ("oh, I am doing so well with exercise, I am probably burning everything I eat anyway"). Those two track of thoughts are exactly the things that lead me to gain those 10 lbs I just worked so hard to loose, so needless to say, I am not at the least happy that those thoughts pop into my head... Not only that, I kind of lost the motivation to put everything I eat in fitday, which is really-really bad, because as soon as I stop being aware of calories I eat, I'll get into trouble... But I am determined not to let that happen. So, basically I need to get back on track. I think I should start reporting here my calories for the day again. Hopefully this will make me write it down, and be aware. BTW, I am trying not to go over 1400 calories.

Opinions are welcome. :)
