You guys probably think I've fallen off but I have not. I am still hitting the gym 6 times a week and watching what I eat. I've been within my calorie intake but not so happy with WHAT I'm eating, still. I need to clean up my diet a bit.

I am just so ridiculously busy. Work has picked up a lot. I used to work only weekends and now I work both days on weekends, plus 2-3 nights during the week. Finals are next week. I'm just so busy! Can't wait for winter vacation so I have more time.

Anyways, time to catch up:

My calories fluctuate too much. Yes, I know. I need to work on it.

I'm worried about the next weigh-in. I REALLY want to lose 10lbs this month. I just feel like my eating has been too crappy though. But I was looking at my fitness progress on Sparkpeople, my work-outs have increased so much intensity wise (I attached a screenshot) from when I first started so maybe I will hit the 10lbs? IDK. I just don't want to be disappointed.

I have SO much catching up to do on here. I finally have today off from work so hopefully I can get around to everyone's journal sometime today :)

Good luck with the weigh on tomorrow! You've been doing really well, I hope you hit 10 pounds like you want, but even if you don't you're still doing great and what more reason do you need to try a little harder next month?

Thanks. My weigh-in isn't even until the 9th but I'm just stressing hardcore about it. SO I decided to weigh myself just because I'm going crazy. I weighed in at 172lbs!!! 8lbs down so far this month. I still have 9 days till my weigh-in. 2lbs in a week should be NOTHING. I am pumped!!
 
It surprisingly wasn't too bad, last year was waaay busier, by the time I left it just seemed like a regular day. Worked from 11-8

Crazy over there? I feel like your store probably is quite a bit larger than mine, I'm in a relatively small one.
 
I always love reading your workouts!! Congrats on the 8 lbs....that's awesome and you'll totally blow past 10 lbs for the month!
 
The amount of cardio you blow through in a typical workout always amazes me, Jes. You ever think about doing some kind of long distance event? I't would be a great goal if you haven't.

Had such a crazy intense work-out today. It was just nuts. I LOVE IT. :)

I am pretty happy with what I ate today. I think it's relatively clean. I'm slowly beginning to ditch the cookies and chocolate and picking up fruits again :) I'm getting tired of turkey sandwiches so I let myself splurge on some spaghetti for lunch :p It's okay. I DEFINITELY burned it off.

I think I'm upping my calorie intake to 1,300-1,400 calories just because my work-outs are a lot harder.

Alrighty, bed time. Have to be up by 4:30AM for the gym.

I can't work out after my days because I'm just too tired. Plus the gym is super crowded. However, I can be a morning person so it's better for me to wake up early and work out :p It gives me a ton of energy for the day.

My work-out was alright. IDK. I was pretty slow for some reason and just not really feeling it. I feel like I didn't push myself enough. It's okay. There is always tomorrow. AND I have my personal training tomorrow.

I've had quite a bit to eat already :x When I go to the gym early in the morning, I need an additional meal. My body needs the fuel. I'm not going to stress about it. It's not like I ate super unhealthy either :p

6 days till my weigh-in! I'm definitely looking forward to it.

This is just going to be a ramble. I got back from the gym about an hour ago. Took a nice long shower and was just thinking.

For the longest time, I was so unhappy. Unhappy with myself. Why are you so miserable, Jes? Why are you so lazy? Why don't you want to do anything? Why can't you just get on the treadmill and walk? Why?

I honestly don't know what made me start this. It just...hit me out of no where. I don't want to say I was depressed. That word is used way too often and carelessly. I was just...extremely unhappy. Unhappy with my body, the way I looked, how I FELT. I had been complaining for the past year. Complain, complain, complain.

I'm not sure what changed. But something did and I am so happy. I am so thankful. I can honestly say...I'm happy right now. I'm good. I have a LONG way to go on this journey but that's okay. I'm not in any kind of hurry. Yeah, yeah I want to see results but I'm willing to take the time.

These past 2-3 months have been...fun. I know those mornings I get up at 4:30AM and I'm thinking, "OMG Jes what is wrong with you?!" But the feeling after I get out of the gym 3 hours later? There is NOTHING in the world that compares to that feeling. I feel so GREAT. I honestly cannot even put into words. I honestly feel like a million bucks. Yeah, I may not look it but I feel it.

I'm just happy and I'm just writing to say that. I love going to the gym. It's something I look forward to every day. Once I'm out of the gym, I'm already planning my next session.

I wish I had found this outlet sooner. On days I'm stressed or frustrated from things going on, I can go to the gym and let out all my frustrations on the treadmill or elliptical. Other days, I go into the gym looking for a challenge. Push myself as hard as I possibly can. I never knew I was this...strong? I'm not sure what word I'm looking for. I did not know I had it within me. It amazes me.

I am loving this lifestyle. I AM living it. It has been rewarding appearance wise but the reward emotionally? Nothing compares to that.

Thank you everyone that stops by and reads my journal. This website has probably been one of my biggest support systems so far. I love it and I just want to thank you all :)

Alrighty, gotta blow dry my hair and run some errands. I'll write about my work-out and food later on.
