Everyone's weight fluctuates. I just about always go up after I get a new low. The people that only weigh once a week never see it so they dont mention it. Everyone that weighs every day is bound to see it. The thing is that they might not know that they hit a new low either if they do not weigh that day. I suppose it is all a bit of a case of swings and roundabouts.

I am sorry about the dryer. I know that was a real problem for me last year when our dryer broke. It must be horrendous for you with four kids - trying to get the washing for 6 people done - it was bad enough for the two of us. It is really difficult with it being winter as it is not the best time for hanging stuff outside and it can be bad with the washing drying inside the house. I feel for you.:hug2:

Just think - 2008 is about to start and it is the year that we are all going to get to our goal weight together.:grouphug:

:party: YAY for staying home tonight,I have done good all day with my eating and I exersiced 45 mins.Plus anyway I went to my aunts house lastyear for her party took the kids and stayed over all night,the party was fun but chasing after the kids and me and 3 kids sharing a FUTON bed was NOT comfy @ all.OMG THE "F*@#*$#@" SCALE is horrible to me this morning

eek yikes. However take into account the weight of food. and lack of sleep can mean you retain water that you would normally use whilst sleeping :)

Bet them lollies tasted good! i finally finished the chocolate (fed most to kids and visitors) so its time to kick the holiday weight :)

I agree with Wishes. The weight of food and water retention is going to have a huge impact.

I am sure that after a couple of days with exercise and sensible eating (just like you are doing) plus a couple of decent night's sleep the weight will look much more like you would prefer. Keep an eye on how regularly you go to the toilet (sometimes when we splurge it can make that kind of thing not follow it's normal schedule). Drink plenty of water and try to avoid salty / spicy food to try and get rid of water weight.

Tyly thought that she had put on a lot over Christmas when she weighed herself but inside a couple of days of getting back on track she was almost back to her absolute low weight.

I know that you can do these first few days and after that you will be so much into the swing of things it is silly. If you have a little higher calories than you normally go for - dont worry - as we are similar weights and I have loads more calories than you normally. I remember this from the time I counted calories for the challenge.

Yes, Margaret is absolutely right!

I thought I had gained weight, but it pretty much all melted off in a few days. Getting back into my routine and getting rid of all the excess water got me just about where I started.

You can do it!!

Hang in there & that weight will come off. Just think the holidaze choas is almost over & life will get back to as normal as it gets. Just keep focused & keep trying. & break out those boots & kick your own arse when you need it! You will get back to the 170s.. we can do this. You know how...just do it. I'm right there with you... just my boots are black & have a spikey lil heel!
 
Ty you all I feel really loved at the moment!:beating: I am more than ready,I stuck with my plan yeasterday and the scale budged a lb it actually read 187 yesterday and 186 today and I totally hear ya's with the water weight usually my 1st week back on and kicking butt I tend to drop alot and yes it is probally water ,my face even has that "bloaty look"when I gain.
LADIES and GENTS(hilly) I really feel we can do this,this will be a gr8 year!!

Oh by the way I found this chick on SPARKPAGE she was around 180ish and shes in the 140's now and she is toally comitted to using the TONY LITTLE GAZELLE which I have 1 stored in the basement that I haven't uised in 2-3 years I always thought it was FUN just didn't help with losing well she was telling me that she burs 500 cals on it ='s 51 minutes each time then does 2-3 days of strength training and eats 1250-1550 cals and she looks gr8!Feel free to check her out under my friends ,I noticed all her pics I saw that GAZELLE in the backround and thats why I messaged her to ask about it!
