Rice cakes have come a LONG way baby! :) They are not the dry flavorless cardboard you may rembmer. Flavors like chocolate, apple cinnamon, cheddar and ranch are avail in reg cakes, and snack size. Even my hubby likes the ranch ones- I have to buy 2 bags now cuz there is never any left for me after he gets into them LOL. My newest addiction is the new "Mini Delight"'s. I have only had the chocolate drizzle variety, but that is all I need :rotflmao:! I find different varieties in different grocery stores, so you may have to shop around. Howdy Everyone I will get to your diaries later on I should have time I hope,it took me about an hour to figure up all the #'s with the Team halloween challange! I Hvae been doing good I have however missed brerakfast do to kids being on fall break and me sleeping off and on until 10-11 am lol.
I made up some veggie soup that I have 2 times a day and a huge bowl to so an easy 6+servings of veggies : + )!
Soup recipie
3 bags of birds eye MIXED veggies,2 cans of fat free BEEF broth 1 pk of lipton chicken noodle soup,1 choped up potatoe ,1 green pepper,green onion,1 can od stewed tomatoes for seasoning then I picked them ALL out,the soup turned out yummy IT is my version of the SACRED HEART DIET SOUP execept I added some healthy carbs in it.

` healthy made turkey sandwhich(175 cals)
Snack
Weight watchers cookie do sundae(170 cals)

1 Weight Watchers chicken fettuchini(320 cals)

Not sure on calories do to the soup I know almost everything in the soup is LOW calorie except potatoe and I only cut up 1 for the whole pot and corn doesn't digest so I dunno?

Yay 2 days of SUCCESS!!!:jump: I walked 2 miles with my 4 kids (1 in a stroller) and my big azz dog up the "hill of death" and also I did 3 miles of stationary biking and 50 crunches! I am feeling great once again.I need to get my azz to bed my tummy is growling and it's 12:46 am lol.
So far NEW BEGINNINGS is the way to go!
I want to PERSONALLY thanks MISHI she is very inspiring and to see her before pics and now wowwzzer there is HOPE for me plus her struggles and ups and downs are so simalar to mine!Also Hajani,Cannon,Fayefaye,Hickgurl,KORRIE,Rachie I LOVE your support advaice tips and you's brighten up my day,:)Ok day 3 tomorrow and guess what BREAKFAST will be a must tomorrow.Tammy

Looks like you are right on target!! Your soup recipe sounded great!! Great job on the "hill of death". LOL
You asked me in my diary what is in my tortilla wrap... nothing LOL. when I write tortilla wrap it is only the wrap itself (low carb style, 50 cal for one) and the rest of my menu is the filling!!. Sometimes I fill it with cottage cheese and walnuts, sometimes with chicken substitute (big piece of chicken breast vegetarian, like only 80 cal) and I put dressing on it sometimes but I use a non-calorie dressing so I don't list it. I use the tortilla sometimes as a bread substitute and fill it with peanut butter. Whatever is on my mind at the time...:)
I pre-plan for the week in my head, not as detailed as to every calorie but I have an idea of breakfast one day: cereal, then waffles, then p.butter bread, then oatmeal...etc to have a great variety. Then every day I pre-plan right to the last minuscle calorie for the next day. Every night I put my food together for the next day at work. Sometimes I even prepare the dinner if it needs to be cooked for the following night as I have NO time for cooking after I get home from work and I don't want to eat later then 6.30 pm. The key is to eat a great variety of food and I am never bored!! And pre-planning helps me to keep on track.

Keep up the good work Tammy, you will see a loss this Saturday. I am getting sad even thinking about how soon the Halloween Challange will end.

if not I may think about it would be a nice cchallange to do
and a tough one with thanks giving which usually ends up as
eating at 3 different houses plus mine grrrrr lol.
Anyway the Halloween challnage is comeing to an end soon and
I am nowhere close to even being near 160's so I am hoping for
179 atleast so I can say I lost something atleast so these next
2 weeks no cheat days or even a cheat meal!
My big GOAL for now is 169 I have never seen 160's since I have
been dieting off and on for 20 years !!!!!:eek:
Ok DAY 3 is going well I had breakfast but it was a LATE 1 around 10:30
AM then I had a big bowl of veggie soup at 12:45 then I am making a healthy
turkey sand at 2:45 I am spreading my foods out instead of eating all my foods at once like usually I would eat the sand and soup at once so I am trying something new to see if I can fight off hunger pains and stay on track!

Oh by the way I must really retain water when I eat badly for 2 weeks at a time because already today I am 3 lbs lighter :jump: ok no more weighing in util FRIDAY!!!!

You can do it!!
Try to eat 5-6 times a day, spacing it out will help greatly with hunger pangs. I have couple of tricks when I am hungry: hot tea, hard candy (6 cal), brushing my teeth (grr, eating after you brush your teeth), diet hot chocolate, water. And believe it or not : exercise!! When I get home i am hungry but I start exercising right away, 10 min into it my hunger is totally gone.

Keep on going girl, we are all here cheering for you!!

TY :hug2: I am really trying this time when I went to put my 14's on and they were so tight they left marks on my tummy and I was so close to fitting into 12's (an all time low for me)anyway it was a real eye opener for me.I feel really good when I see my clothes fitting loser my face looking thinner I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to thank you for your support it really HELPS a bunch :hug2: Tammy

Howdy! You are so sweet Tammy. It is nice to think at least my downs are helping!;) lol. It's a rough month this month and it is hard to think about all I have to do and exercise and eat well too! So it goes and there is time. I am stopping my unnessecary snacking as of today. No crap! It's making me sick and I did gain over the last few days... not sure how I got up 7lbs but hopefully some of it will go away! Sorry to vent in your diary lol. That should be what my diary is for! So glad you are feeling better and getting back on the ball. You are going to rock those pictures! I am excited to see the 179, 169 etc!:) I know you can do it! I know I can do it :p lol just have to take it a day at a time right?:) Take care and hope you have a wonderful day!!!
 
Howdy everyone aya I stuck to my meal and exersice plan,I walked to and from my son's practice then geared up the doggy when I got home for the hill of death and another mile so a total of 4 MILES!Yay go me I am Back this time!It is ON.:)
MISHI girl you can VENT anytime in my DIARY I find myself venting in everyones diary ,don't worry the weight will be gone in no time and I mean no time I carry alot of water weight when I gain and the 1st 5 falls of the 1st few days it does give ya that MOTIVATION again that I lack of.
Anyway nothing BUT great Healthy days ahead for OCY Nov Dec....:jump::hug2:

I got my Halloween costume!!! I googled plus size costumes and scored.... I actually found this costume at the store down the street and it looks great.

What do you think? I'm going to be a Prep School Delinquent!

Just wanted to let you know, I may consider putting together a Xmas challange. I find that I have come to rely on the challenges and support/motivation I have found, and that time of year I'm sure I won't
be the only one who could use the help. :rotflmao:
