New Year, New Start - Success in 2014!

Good job on fitting in exercise. Did you decide on a dance game yet? I have dance dance revolution for play station and I find it quite enjoyable. My husband even plays with me sometimes because he likes 'gaming' and it something we can do together that I don't totally suck at.
 
I am thinking of Just Dance. Not sure about the ghostly faceless avatars but seems it would frustrate me less and be better if people came over and wanted to play. We could all make asses of ourselves without the game being evil and giving us horrible scores LOL. Will go over the weekend and see what I find in the stores. Hopefully the one I choose has mostly music I like and only a few songs I can't stand.

I did end up drinking lots of water yesterday, but then A wanted McDs nuggets after I got off work since there was nothing in the house and he is still have issues chewing things properly, and because I was hungry as well I caved and ate 6 myself. *sigh* But I'm pretty sure calories were under - a website said the 6 nuggets were one of the top 5 "healthiest" options there. The first was the hamburger, second ranch chicken wrap and I believe nuggets were third. Sadly have nothing for food today, and no more milk at work so no cereal this morning. Will take a bunch of bread and just do toast and peanut butter sandwiches or perhaps cave and go to subway for lunch. But NO DRINK OR COOKIES OR CHIPS! *smacks hand*

Just weighed and I'm at... 133.5!!! NEW LOW!! :party: Only took me 3 weeks...:ack2:

But time to shower and rush to work. Hope everyone has an awesome Friday! (Or had? depending on timezone?) Busy day and weekend ahead for me!
 
I hate having no food in the house. It really alters how I eat (not for the better), so I feel you on this. I've been trying really hard to always keep the fridge stocked because it helps me make good choices rather than easy choices.
 
I told myself yesterday if I drank 2 bottles of water before noon that I could eat some of the cute chocolate penguin I got for Christmas from my PT job. Well I drank lots last night and decided perhaps if I didn't quite do it I could carry some over from yesterday's success. But then with the nuggets I decided no that was not OK. Well It's 12:15 ish and I have had 1.5 bottles - but they are bigger than the normal 500mL ones so it's probably equivalent to 2-500's. I have not been tempted too much yet, but it's staring at me looking all cute and like "eat me, I'm delicious!" so we will see how long I last. Ended up bringing some 2% milk and ate honey nut cheerios for breakfast (ran out of corn flakes yesterday). I have 6 slices of bread which will be used for toast and butter, and peanut butter sandwich for lunch and dinner. I meant to make some stir fry veggies to go with the leftover rice in my fridge but too tired last night and forgot this morning until it was too late so that's that. Unless I go home now for lunch...I could do that...maybe I will! We shall see - a bit of work to still do first.

But yes it is much easier to get take out or eat junk when there is no real food in the fridge. Hoping to change that this weekend.

On another note: A saw 2 people today - the first said they aren't hiring right now but might be in a couple months so will keep on file. The 2nd hopes to give him on offer by the end of the day :jump::party: Hopefully it is decent. But I guess he worked with the one guy years ago at the company A just left LOL, so he knows how hard A works and how much of an asset he will be. Also they promote from within so while he would start in the yard/warehouse he would likely get the chance to be an apprentice mechanic within I would say 6-12 months which is awesome.

Anyways, time to get back to work so I can possibly go home early cuz I don't feel like working here today hehe. I'm horrible I know :( Catch up, do a workout, then I will allow myself to go home!
 
Glad to hear that A has a good opportunity on the horizon!! I hope you get to have some fun this weekend! Good job on adding in the mini workouts! Every little bit helps :)
 
So I didn't drink both bottles before noon, but I feel pretty hydrated. So I caved and opened my chocolate penguin. I've only had a few bites and it's not bad chocolate (sometimes the novelty ones are icky) but I think I'm good. I mean I kinda want to keep eating but I think I'm hungry in general not wanting candy so I have stopped. SMALL VICTORY! I'm thinking I there is no point going home for what little time I would be there, just to leave again for my PT job. If I didn't have that I'd probably leave now and finish working at home but meh. I made some toast for lunch but am out of butter so will possibly eat a peanut butter sandwich in a bit here and make another for my break tonight. Shall keep drinking water but my tummy has been upset for a bit (before I ate the toast and chocolate) so will workout once it settles a bit, or will do something minor instead.
 
Great job on the small victory! Chocolate is something that I have such a hard time controlling myself around. So good job! Oh, and make sure to get that exercise in!! :)
 
Great to hear that A may have a good job lined up. Good luck to both of you on that. I also say congrats on your small chocolate victory. I know how hard it is to fight that! I’ve caved and given in many times! Keep up the good work, day by day you’ll get there.
 
A didn't hear back yesterday and said he perhaps misheard about the end of day offer - but hopefully will hear on Monday otherwise will call on Mon/Tues to see what the deal is.

I didn't do much yesterday, maybe 5 mins buts it's something. Have already done lots of walking today. I did buy Just Dance 4 but have found there is no sort of tutorial so I may need to look into the first one or others and see if any of them have tutorials. Or will have to YouTube the moves and figure them out but that would kinda suck. Maybe Dance Central would have been better? Or I'm just sucky and can't figure it out. Last night sucked...A wanted nuggets so on my break told me after work to get some but only 6 this time. So I ended up not calling him after work and just got him 6 and myself a chicken wrap. Well I get home and he was sleeping and said he wasn't hungry anymore, so I got mad and went downstairs and because I knew he'd not eat them the next day and I was hungry I hate my wrap and the nuggets. As well as a chocolate timbit (doughnut hole?) that was in a box on the table. :( Horrible... But...

Got a raid tonight with my guild on WoW but will be making stir fry myself for dinner. I use the California Style frozen veggies but I also bought mushrooms. The green peppers didn't look so great. Shall try putting less sauce and add water like before to give it flavor but not tons of calories from the sauce. Kinda hungry now actually, all I've had today is a Medium Strawberry Smoothie from Orange Julius and it's almost 4PM hehe. 3 hours until the raid! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
 
I updated my post on page 1. I reached my goal of 133lbs which is 60 Kgs. Also check my license today and noticed it states 61 Kgs which is no longer correct and that is sweet :)

Updated my spreadsheets and the charts show I'm below the trend line. Will see if I keep going this way or jump back up.

No time to post much but 134 this morning. I hate late and probably overate. Didn't do great with food today either.

And thanks everyone :) Been a VERY busy weekend, barely been home. Time to watch some Doctor Who! Oh and I did lots of walking while shopping for bridesmaids outfits...and we may have found some! $125 each plus will need to get shirts made meaning about $50-100 more on top depending. But not too terrible!
 
Oh Icy, you're not alone. I was up a pound this morning from eating late and I had a bad food day (cheat day) today too. It is what it is. Let's do better tomorrow!

Congrats on your new low. You'll be even lower before you know it. :)
