New Year, New Diary, New Ambition...

Hi everyone! :) So I'm back on track after the weekend away from home. I had a good time but when we're home everyone wants to take us out to eat and I can't get a salad, or substitute steamed broccoli instead of french fries like I used to because of my blood thinners so I'm stuck searching out whatever looks healthiest on the menu. But anyway, like I said, I'm back on track. My days seem like they're getting more and more busy. Abby is doing less sleeping and more playing. And she always wants me to be right there playing with her. I love being a stay at home mom, but I haven't spent more than an hour without her for months. So the days are busier and I'm struggling to find time to exercise but I'm doing it! I am also sticking to my diet. Here's what I had today:

Breakfast: granola bar (100)

Snack: Pudding (100)

Lunch: turkey and veggies meal (200)

Total: 1500 calories

Exercise: 33 minutes (200 calories) on exercise bike and 23 minute video

Well, I actually haven't done the DVD yet tonight so I have to go do that now :p see ya!

Snack: Cheez-its (260) tic tacs (60)

Dinner: Breakfast Sandwich (530) potatoes (90)

Snack: popcorn (120)

Beverages: Crystal light (40)
 
Hey your doing it that is the important thing...I am so glad my youngest is independant now...I dont miss that stage...Your looking good, comgrats on keepin up such good work
 
Congratulations on what you're doing! You have lost soooo much weight already! Well done for finding a way to keep exercising with your busy little one, too! I know that's such a challenge!! Keep enjoying your beautiful little girl too. :)

Hi all, thanks for the encouragment :) lol, pinkdolly, you can have her for a bit as long as I get to go out to dinner and a movie with my husband :p

Well, I've had a pretty good day. Busy again, but I don't think that will let up any. Once Abby starts crawling it will turn from helping her play to chasing after her. *sigh* I'm so tired. Well, I kept myelf within the calorie limit today but my snack of shrimp scampi is kind of weird, lol. So here's the thing, I love shrimp scampi and I sampled one of these at Sam's Club a couple weeks ago and loved it so I bought a box. I get it home and realize there's 300 calories in one serving, which is 7 shrimp. I know that it would not be filling enough as a meal so I've decided to make it a snack ocassionally. Here's what i had today:

Breakfast: granola bar (100)

Snack: cheez-its (260)

Lunch: creamy chicken noodle soup (309)

Snack: shrimp scampi (300)

Dinner: Spaghetti in meat sauce (360) garlic toast (140)

Crystal light: (40)

Total: 1500

Exercise: 200 cals on exercise bike and workout video

Well, my back hurts really bad today for some reason so I'm going to go give my husband some puppydog eyes to get it rubbed,lol.

hello!

Well, last night I got very stressed out over something totally ridiculous. I wanted to take a bath, a relaxing one with candles and my bath pillow and bubbles and a good book. So as I was exercising my husband went and got most of the stuff ready and I asked him to clean out the bathtub. He did and after I exercised he started the water and all of a sudden a bunch of nasty stuff bubbles up from the drain. well, I really wanted this bath so my husband fixes the drain and starts filling the tub again, it gets almost full so I get in and it's like, lukewarm, i like my baths HOT. So, slightly annoyed, I kick the knob over to hot and think that should even it out, well after a few minutes the tub is getting even cooler so I check the faucet and it's giving cold water. I turn it off and my husband checks the other faucets and it turns out we're OUT of hot water. We've never run out of hot water before! So I'm sitting in this cold bath tub with my hair wet and bubbles all over me and because the water is cold I can't even rinse my body off or wash my hair under the faucet so it doesn't get all tangly ( I have to use a lot of conditioner) So I get out and I'm all itchy because of the soap residu and my hair is all nasty and I'm bitchy and my husband is CRYING because he knows I never get anything just for me and he really wanted it to work out for me. So I just want to go to bed, my husband goes downstairs to get things ready for Abby and he takes forever and Abby's sobbing which is ALWAYS my responsibilty of course. So I go down and she's laying on the foor on her tummy screaming. Well, needless to say I sat next to her and stroked her back to get her to stop crying and in my moment of weakness devoured a Christmas tree shaped Reese's peanutbutter cup. Worth 190 calories. So there you have it. I stress ate an I'm so ashamed. So today, even though I didn't want to cut out an entire 190 calories from my diet because I'm breastfeeding, I did cut out 100 to try to make up for it and will probably cut out the other 90 tomorrow...ok, rant over... Oh! If I were you I wouldn't give a rip about that chocolate. That was yesterday. And you had GOOD reason to be stressed. *hug*

Your husband is a sweetheart. I'm sorry your evening was so rough. *smile* It will get better. Forget about that chocolate. *wink* It's not a big deal. Really.
 
I love reeses with caramel in it and sometimes I just have one. It's a life change which instead of having one everyday, I just get one once in a while! No worries mate!!:)

We've all had moments that can push us over the edge.

And 190 calories - don't sweat the small stuff hun, you're doing really well :D
 
Awww, thanks everyone :) you're right, I have to learn to let things go. 190 calories is not going to stall my weightloss or make me gain 10 lbs. I'm going to be ok. As a matter of fact I DID get my bath tonight. But for some reason we didn't have enough hot water again so my husband went and heated a pot on the stove for me, lol, I felt like I was from the old days. Yeah, my husband's pretty much the sweetest guy I've ever met. He's so great to me. He even brough me flowers yesterday. They're pink, blue, green, and orange daisies. He said they're called crazy daisies and he wanted something bright to cheer me up because it's supposed to be gloomy weather for the rest of the week. :)

Dinner: Chicken Alfredo (420) Garlic Toast (130)

Total: 1400 calories Just what I was aiming for today :)

For exercise I did my usual 200 calories on the bike and 23 minute video.

A good day altogether :):)
 
Oh I did feel for you with that bath story. What a sweet man your husband is. :)

Basically your programme is going great though!! :)

Ugh, I'm so tired right now so this is going to be super short. I had a good day today. I got the right amount of calories in and exercised. Here's what I had today:

Breakfast: granola bar

Snack: pudding cup

Lunch: pizza

Snack: cheez-its

Dinner: Chicken Breast, AuGratin potatoes, green beans

Snack: 2 rice cakes

Beverages: crystal light

Total: 1410 calories

Exercise: video and bike :):):) Hope I weigh in a lb or so lighter tomorrow!

Well, I lost .8 lbs and dropped down to 29.5 % body fat. I won't be on until sunday night or monday morning because we're going out of town. i'll see ya all later! :)
