New to Everything

Thanks for checking.....I did pretty good, only ate half of my big steak, green beans and low cal mac and cheese, then I had a cup of ff/sf ice cream so I still didnt go over my points for the day. Next week though, I really need to kick it and get serious with my exercise, these walks are getting boring.

Ok, today Idid really really good and didn't get a chance to eat much cause I had to go to the dr. for testing for surgery in June. Then my son needed a ride to go to dad's house so that took 3 hours. Needless to say, hubby and I went to applebees and I got the WW Teriaki steak & shrimp skewer meal, 7 pts, but we ordered the Quesa Chip appetiser and boy, did I pig out! Bad girl me. I just had to fess up. :(
 
Hey there!! Applebee's.. you went there with out me??? lol.. I love that place.. unfortunetly dh doesn't like trying new things.. so I can't get him in there!! :rolleyes: How was the Teriaki steak & shrimp skewer meal I've been wanting to try that!!
 
It was pretty good, the shrimp and steak were great, they gave you a little dipping cup of sauce. The rice was bland with lots of peppers in it and I got tired of it REAL quick, and there was TONS of steamed broccoli, plain, which I dunked in my appetiser cheese for flavor, lol. Think I should have had a salad. Today I'm meeting my friend who lost 40 lbs. on LA weightloss for lunch at O'Charley's and am going to have a fancy salad. I think I'll just have a yogurt this morning.
 
On a more personal note, My testing went well and am ok for operation in June. My son went to dads yesterday (stress) and it was my oldest son who drove halfway to meet us and do the swap. I havent seen him in a year and it was soooo good. He hugged me and I cried all the way home. He's become a decent young man and he told me he wants to go to college and has a scholarship already lined up and then wants to go Navy. He's with the volunteer fire dept. now and graduates high school in May of this year. Boy, I've missed so much of his life. Anyway, I just wanted to write this cause It was a big stress factor for me yesterday.
 
Yippie! Had my weigh in at WW today and it said I lost 2.2 so thats almost 15 since i started. I bet that queso chips will catch up with me next week. Thanks ya'll for the cheers and support.
 
Wow, 15 pounds in just over a month?? That's really good! Congrats xDD Hopefully you can keep up the great weight loss! Good luck with the queso chips :p
 
The queso chips will hit the hips next week, lol. Today wasnt bad, I've been a little busy.
AM- 1/2 hour very brisk walk before it really started to get hot
B- 1 c. rice crispies-1
1/2 c. skim milk-1
1/2 banana-1
1 T. ff creamer-1/2
coffee
sugar twin

L- O'charleys salad=
chicken @ 2 oz grilled
1/4 c. dried cranberries
14 c. mandarin oranges
1 oz pecans
mixed greens
1 c. sliced strawberries (maybe 1/2)
vinagarette dressing
1 roll:(

Snack by computer- 1 bag 94% ff popcorn-2 pts

Dinner will be:
2 lite hamburger buns- 2 pts.
@ 4 oz. 93% lean ground beef-?
manwich seasnoning_ the can says nothing but I gotta look
3 oz. baked french fries-3
1/4 cup ketchup-?

*** oh, i forgot, last night i still had points left, so after dinner we went to cold stone creamery and I BYPASSED all the good flavors and had the ff/sf vanilla and had fresh strawberries mixed in, and said NO to the waffle cup and just had a spoon. It felt good I had that much self control, cause the boston cream pie looked sooooooooo good.:D
 
Man, why did I read this diary? Now I really want ice cream! :p Anyways, great job getting the healthier ice cream! I'm not sure how points work with WW but it looks like you did good! Keep it up! And fix your signature.. it annoys the heck out of me! :p
 
Great Job! You are really shrinking up quick! Glad you are having success with WW. Glad you got to see your son too! He sounds like he's going to be a great catch for one lucky lady someday. hehe

Happy Easter everyone! I didn't do too bad today,
b- coffee, creamer, sugar twin
apple, ww yogurt

L- smart ones lunch
D- 2 oz. pork roast
1/4 c. unsweet applesauce
3/4 c. macaroni salad:(
1 red. fat biscuit

Desert I made this:

1 red. fat graham cracker crust
2 1/2 c. skim milk
2 small pks of vanilla sf/ff instant pudding
1/2 tsp. coconut extract
~~~combine all
blend in 12 oz cool whip( I used the fat free)
pour into crust
top with the other 4 oz cool whip
sprinkle with toasted coconut if desired.
~~~``This was very yummy and wasnt too bad for me. I only ate a small piece, so I stayed within my points

Eric: I don't know how to get those things off my siggy

I didnt get to walk or anything today, was lazy,. I WILL "get down on it" tomorrow, cause next weekend is relay for life and I want to look good out there.

Yes, Yes, Yes, I am still getting my water in. I was drinking those sparkling clear flavored waters from wal mart for awhile and found that it was too carbonated and I wasn't dring enough, so I'm back to plain-old-plain-old. Tomorrow at noon is my weigh in and I'm kinda sweating it (not literally). I just feel that my heart hasn't been in it this week, I've been very tired and my energy level is down so I haven't been walking as much. I just feel like I've been eating more, but I havent gone over my points, just what I ate to use the points I did. Too hot to walk today, maybe tonight.

Tonight is going to be baked chicken breast but don't know yet how I will prepare it.
 
I found you really cant "chug" the carbonated ones like you can with the reg. water. I like the new Aquafina grape.....really refreshing.
 
Hey Your Doing Great And Wal Mart Has Them Great Value Packs Thta Go In Your Water They Are Like 10 In A Box For 1.72 And No Cals Nothing I Love The Peach Tea And The Early Rise Orange Just A Suggestion!
