New Pics....53lbs gone FOREVER!

Hi everyone, I had a different post made a few back but I wanted to update anyone who's been watching for the new pics. I am now down 53lbs since Jan 5/09. I am very pleased with the progress I've made. I know I could maybe be further but I have to keep it real, I don't want to over do it and then hate it. I'm having fun, enjoying the exercise and food, life long changes that will stick. I feel the motivation again that I need to keep me moving forward. I'm hoping for 2lbs this week and get me to 55lbs. I still have a ways to go but I can see it, I never look back, it's not an option. Even if I have a bad day of eating, it's NEVER once been the way I used to eat. Now a bad day is maybe a low calorie snack that I had was a little too much, or I ate a little more than I should...but I don't have any of the junk in the house that hurts my plan...that helps dramatically. I hope you guys can see the difference...I'm finally starting to feel a bit smaller. I've gone from a size 30 pants to 24. And shirt from 5x to a 3x. The changes will continue, and I can't wait to see a size 18 pants! All your comments are welcome. Thanks for all the support from you all, during the plateau recently.
 
Steve, I have to say a huge Thank you. You were the first to help me when I joined this site. You have been there to offer encouragement every step of the way so far. I just think that you are such a wonderful part of this forum. You are amazing, and I just wanted you to know, that it doesn't go unnoticed, I see the posts and replies you offer to people on here. You are a great form of support for me and I know so many on here. Thank you again. You have a kind spirit about you.

Thanks everyone again for the kind words. Cherrygarcia, I pretty much do anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hr exercise a day. Try not to miss anyday. I either walk, do some Wii Fit, stationary bike, whatever gets me moving. And I pretty much watch my portions and changed most of what I eat. I hardly eat any BAD food anymore. But I still have treats and snacks. I cut out take out, we do eat whatever takeout we want every two weeks and it's nice to look forward to it. I usually have low calorie ice cream for my snacks. I really am doing the best I can for right now, but I know I"m going to have to kick it into high gear to see bigger results as I get smaller. But I'm committed to getting to ONEDERLAND! I can't imagine seeing a 199 on that scale. It will be a great day. Thanks for all your support.
 
Keep up the good work! I was a similar weight when i started and now look heaps different and am much happier!
 
Wow, you got much slimmer. I like how your eating life style changed en keep it like that.
I lose weight and gain it back again. Once I had the discipline for itm but now...
Hope I get it back again..
 
Wishes, you were the reason I signed up on this forum. I did a search and found your site. Your journey has been amazing and is bookmarked on my computer. You were a similar weight and I guess seeing your amazing transformation gives me the hope that I can do it. You have been very inspiring and you look tiny now. I have far to go but I know I will get there. You look fantastic and how you inspire so many people is a wonderful thing. I appreciate your information, your site, your pictures and now your kind words. Thank You so VERY MUCH!
 
Congats! you have the right idea about progress. I always try to tell people it doesn't have to be all or nothing and if it is it makes the times when life gets in the way almost impossible to deal with! keep it up.
