Thanks for the replies everyone!
The doctor did mention anxiety to me and talked about the fact that subconsciously I could be stressing out! He did do the echocardiogram just to make sure there wasn't a physical problem, though.
And yea, I definitely noticed that once I googled what was wrong with me I noticed a pain more than before. I'm sure I freaked myself out. He ran full bloodwork on me and the only thing he mentioned was that my potassium was a little high (i eat a banana almost every day).
I'm not sure if my symptoms will go away or not but so far I have been feeling great. If the feeling comes back I'll tell the doctor (i have a follow up appt with him next monday).
I also decided to take it easier on myself with the cardio at the gym. I have no idea what my heart rate goes up to, but I have really been pushing myself to beat my times every day and I think that I should just take it easier and work on knocking maybe a few seconds off my time here and there. I'm still going to do the same distance every morning though!
This morning I went to the gym and did 2.25 miles, the 2 miles was in 23 minutes and 30 seconds. I did 5/10 reps on arm machine, 5/8 reps on chest machine, and 5/10 curls with a 9lb bar - and 85 sit ups.
Breakfast was heart smart blueberry oatmeal (purchased in the throes of my paranoia about having a heart attack, haha), snack was a granola bar at 10 am, lunch is a turkey wrap with low sodium/low fat cheese, an apple and baked chips.
Dinner tonight is pork chops!
I hope everyone else is doing awesome.
