:) New Diary !Lets MOTIVATE each other!!

You can do this, 6 kgs is not a lot but if your at a healthy weight they can be harder to lose. I know when I'm 68 kgs it's so hard to get down to the 63
68 is healthy for me but I still feel chubby.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
Chin up, focus and above all enjoy life.

I understand how you feel, Cloudy :(.

A few weeks after I started my project for the first time, I became very pessimistic and depressed. I lost over a week of exercise and completely dropped everything, I gained even more weight here. But I learned from it and, came back even more determined. Granted, I'm not nearly as joyful and eager as I once was, but I'm a lot more focused and careful now.

But the most important thing I learned is that you can't make the journey a torture, it is as important as the destination. I failed the first time because I did exactly that. It got to a point on which I was AFRAID of working out. I thought that it wouldn't matter once I get there, but it will matter.
Eventually you will give up and won't be willing to come back on a long time if you do that. I have wasted over two years because of that.

So this time, I started by only doing what was easier for me (For me, it was counting calories). I picked a number and stick to it. Then, when I was a bit more confident and motivated, I added light exercise, and so on. Even though I have a tendency to being both pessimistic and depressive, I do feel better and somewhat motivated again.

You can do this, but start easy, with changes you can do without being uncomfortable. It won't be worth it if you torture yourself to make it happen.

You are not a failure, Cloudy, don't let the set-backs affect you. :grouphug:

Yikes Cloudy. Sounds like you were having a low moment. That's temporary and you will find your mojo again.
Aren't you about to start an exercise challenge? That should help get you moving even when you don't feel like it. I was supposed to do cardio tonight, but ended up skipping it b/c I was just feeling meh. Set my alarm for early tomorrow morning though. Every day doesn't have to be a banner day. Just as long as you're consistent overall, you'll lose. The less weight you have to shed, the harder it is to drop it. Keep earning it. You can do this.

Come on back, Cloudy! As someone else mentioned it's harder to lose weight when you don't have much to lose. You just have to find something that works for you! Pump up some great music when you exercise. Or keep trying different types of exercise until you find one you like. And please know that no one else is looking at your pictures thinking about how there's "almost" a double chin. Those are the thoughts we only have about ourselves. We are our own worst enemies, and our own worst critics. So don't let the enemy win!

No CloudyMuffin, you cannot give up. This week we are starting our challenge and I don't exept if you give up.
You simply cannot. We want us to motivate each others, if you give up what kind of example and motivation you are giving to the others? We are all in the same boat and it's going to be hard, but not impossible!!!
It is very possible and I ensure you that you will feel as a lion once you will have lost the weight you want to lose.
It's a battle against yourself and you are strong enough to continue to the end and win it!
Don't give up. I want to see some update in our challenge form.

@Nostalgic Thank you!
@AthalaRanger Thank you for the advice it really helped! You are really right!
@bellyoff I am starting one yes! I didn't intend to not do it! Thanks!
@Laura F You're right! I can't give up!
@little_star Don't worry I won't give up on the challenge! I have to do it!! I never even thought about not doing it!
Everyone helped so much and it makes me realize how many of you are my friends and are going trough similar/same things! Thank you for backing me up and helping me get back on track! I will try and do the same for others. Sidenote: Went swimming today for about 1h 40m
Maybe I should make smaller goals such as 2kg a month.. or less..
But again THANK YOU EVERYONE!! :blush5:

Yes! I would advice you to set yourself smaller goals. They should be realistic and close enough in time that make you work all the way to it during all the week. At least this is how it works for me. :)

yes think at a healthy weight you need smaller goals. even 1kg a month is reasonable. try and get your motivation for exercise. you will feel better about yourself. :)

Perhaps instead of a weight loss goal you should set exercise goals, that way you won't get discouraged if you workout but don't lose weight.

Have you been tracking your measurements? Sometimes you won't lose weight but you will lose inches. Pictures can help you see differences in toning when no inches are lost too.

Keep trying, you'll get there!

People often see great results with the tape measure when they are exercising - even if they see no improvement at the scales.

I am sure that I remember that Angel used to have her ticker set to a tape measure and using measurements back in 2008. Certainly some people did...

May I ask, what workout are you doing? :p

Still, Any workout is better than no workout at all. Good job, and good luck for future workouts. Have a great day! :)

P.S: Just a suggestion, Why not put the URL on your signature on a link like this instead of copying it directly? :smash:

I didn't watch much of it because it won't let me skip forward on my phone but from what I saw it would take me an hr cuz I'd be stopping so much. I just might try it anyway just to see how bad of shape I'm really in.

The first day I also had to stop many times and was not sincronized with the movements and all. Already the second time went much better. Don't give up and give it a try! :)
If I could do the workout, anyone can, seriously!

Totally didn't work out today...helped friends move for about 4 hours I think it was...was too tired and it was dinner time when we got home so that was that! Horseback Riding tomorrow so doubt I will do much after that...Tuesday I study but butt off for my final on Wednesday but perhaps I will try on Tuesday if not too sore from horseback riding. :)

I really recommend the workout SO good! Anyway I ate okay for the past how long it's been since I have posted here and After a long day of walking I'm having pizza :) I updated the StarCloud challenge post again. Thanks for reading everybody x

I'm glad you are back Cloudy, I was already thinking on the worst-case scenario... :(
