Got everything crossed for a massive loss this week for you hun.

We make cookies for christmas and i totally agree with you about the smell!!! There really isn't anything that comes close.
 
This mornings smoothie was SO rich and chocolatey, YUM!! Made it so much more filling though, it pretty much tasted like liquid dark chocolate. Going to have a fairly lazy day today, might do a bit of cleaning as we have a rent inspection this week (though not till Fri). Going to see if I can get Mon and Fri off this week from work as I have to work this weekend in the bakehouse... expecting parcels tomorrow so it'd just be handy to be at home to receive them. Also can get a bit more cleaning done!! Aaaand I'd be psyching up for my weigh in...!!! It's around about photo comparison and measurement time for the month too, so should get that done tomorrow. Hoo ha!! Excited for weigh in, I'm pretty sure I've lost weight this week!


Food plan for tomorrow (assuming I'm not working)

Breakfast: Smoothie with nectarine, kiwifruit, mixed greens, coconut butter, chia, vanilla, cinnamon

Snack: Coconut water

Lunch: Gluten free grain bread with cheese and tomato, toasted

Dinner: Slow cooked marinated chicken breast, torn and tossed with mixed greens


Aaaaand a 30min walk FTW :biggrin:! Psyched for next month, I'm hoping that a month of strength training will take a big dent out of my measurement goals... I tend to build my lean mass pretty quickly. Usually I go pretty heavy on my lower body though, so it'll be interesting this month as I'll be going heavy on upper body/core and really light on my lower body to build the strength back up (without irritating my tendons again!)
 
Ahhh, I'm so excited for weigh in tomorrow and so desperate to see what the number is, I know I've definitely lost weight. Not knowing is doing my head in!!! Lol. Woke up at 5:30am this morning (on my day off, boo) and lay there thinking how easy it would be to just stroll in and weigh myself... so I got up and made breakfast straight away so I couldn't! Not really doing a great deal today, just going to chill out and enjoy some time alone, it rarely happens these days. I'll be back later to post food for tomorrow and my updated measurements and photo comparisons for the month!!
 
I'm so excited to post these- the difference this month is huge!!! Once again measurement-wise I lost most off my hips and thighs (boobs, when will you shrinK!!?? Not funny anymore!!) I'll just post my starting measurements (23rd Aug), last months measurements (15th Nov), and todays. All in cms-



Bust- 103, 97, 96

Waist- 85, 77, 75 (yew, 10cms gone since I started!)

Hips- 103, 95, 93 (another 10cms since I started!)

Thighs- 64, 59, 57

Arms- 32, 30, 29

Thanks guys :biggrin: Hopefully I'll see more of a shift in upper body measurements after this month- bring on the strength training!! Here is my super basic workout for the month


5min warm up on bike


Upper body

3x15 push ups

3x15 lat pull downs

3x15 barbell shoulder press


Lower body

3x15 fitball squats

3x15 Romanian deadlifts

3x15 step ups to each leg (alternating legs and starting on a really low step and going pretty slowly)


Core

3x15 crunches

3x15 back extensions

2x 1 min planks

2 (to each side) 1 min side planks


Stretch


Ok so it's going to be pretty basic, nothing high impact at all. I'm going to do this 3x a week, and walk 30mins every other day! Also going to be upping my calories... my goal for the month will be 61kg, so will be having to lose between 2-3kg (at a guess... weigh in tomorrow!! Eeee!!) So will probably only need around a 700cal deficit every day, plus because I'm exercising and working long hours on my feet again cals get bumped up even further. Going to be a bit more lenient this month on what I'm actually eating too, specially with Christmas. I'm still going to make sure I'm having a serve of veg with every main meal too- I've done it for 2 weeks and now it's just a habit!! A GOOD habit... so snacks can be anything really :biggrin: Though I can't really say I'll be lashing out much, I love my Larabars and have developed a love for raw chocolate... don't know if I could eat the normal stuff again.


Food plan for tomorrow (depending on weigh in and how long I'm working tomorrow, I might not be eating the raw choc... put it in there anyway)


Breakfast: Smoothie with banana, kiwifruit, spinach, amazing grass choc powder, 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa, 30g coconut butter, chia

Snack: Raw banana flax bar

Lunch: 2 pieces of wild grain gluten free bread with cheese and tomatoes

Snack: 50g chick pea chips, 1 row of raw dark chocolate

Dinner: Uncheese macaroni casserole (I'm following a recipe out of the Uncheese cookbook, but using less pasta and adding in broccoli and spinach)


Exercise will be strength training and stretching, guessing around 45mins worth.
 
3 bits of exciting news... I'm 63.5kg this morning (yay!) so lost 2.1kg this month... also, I have officially lost 20lbs!!... and one last thing... Fitday says todays weight in lbs is 139.99<--- SO technically I'm in the 130s!!! (Just. But I'm counting it!! Lol!)


Aiming for 61kg this month, so daily deficit required is 689. Todays plan gives me a 740cal deficit, and that's with the chocolate. Awesome!!

I smashed out another perfect day today. Did my workout this morning which was pretty slow going, but I got through it ok. Spent extra time stretching afterward and made sure I iced my knees... I was fine!! Then I worked 10-6. Struggling with all the extra food today, so damn full!!! FYI- chick pea chips are YUM!


Random note- I've ordered a new bikini!! You can't really see it in the pics above, but the bottoms are as tight as they go but they're too big and the back just sags... fully can't wear them in public anymore. Going to walk for 30mins tomorrow, and I'm unsure when I'm working. Should be a deficit of 768cals.

Yeah, I'm with Kate! I swear the first place I lose is in my boobs. I don't really mind them getting a little smaller, truly, but there are places I'd rather lose from first. Shesh.


And, wow on your bikini being too big, wish I had that problem!!! You'll look awesome in your vacation in Feb!
 
Kate- Thanks sweets :santa: I have to say that my husband really doesn't mind that my boobs aren't shrinking... But yea, I'm pretty sure it's because my body fat would be pretty high right now. Hopefully a month or two back exercising and being on my feet will sort it!! And if it doesn't, then I'm just going to be incredibly top heavy at my goal!! (Um, more top heavy! Lol)


Mizzie- It's my hips and my thighs that seem to be disappearing!! I have always lost weight there first though, and if I gain weight it usually goes straight on my stomach and boobs. Weird how different peoples bodies are!!! And I'm SOOOOOO looking forward to my holiday in Feb, can't WAIT to get out of here!!! It's exactly 8 weeks from tomorrow that I fly out!!!


Urgh... I'm starting at 6am this morning, lucky me. So I'll be walking after work... in the fully extreme heat. Hey, I have muscle soreness after exercising!! It's been so LONG!!! I missed it, makes me feel like I'm doing something lol. Anyhoo, I'll be back later... got to sort myself out for work.
 
Ended up working until just before 2.30 today. A lot lighter on cals today, felt bloated and rubbish for most of the day thinking it's because of all the extra food I had yesterday... Then TOM arrived. Awesome. Had an 884cal deficit today. Mmm my banana and nectarine smoothie was very fruity and refreshing!! Working 10:30-7:30 tomorrow. Husband has the day off, he's going to clean for rent inspection on Fri.

Snack: Chick pea chips

Lunch: Gluten free chia roll with cheese, kumera and Asian bean pattie and roasted peppers

Dinner: Uncheese pasta casserole with broccoli and spinach


Exercise will be a strength training session, deficit of 867cals for the day.
 
Sorry you didn't feel great all day, but looks like you had a pretty good day! Your food always sounds to yummy. Yuck, long day for you tomorrow, but the weekend will be here soon.
 
Heya Mizzie... I actually have to work all weekend, I had Mon off and get Fri off to make up for it. They need me in the bakehouse again cuz they're really shortstaffed!! It's a bit sucky but hey... weekend rates aren't that bad!! Thinking of my holiday!!


Just finished my workout!! Haha I must do it in super slow old lady fashion, not including my warm up it took me 40mins, and I think my warm up was about 10mins because I stepped outside and went for a walk around the block. I silently laugh at myself doing the lower body part... When I was studying last year I was training a woman in her 70s with arthritis in her knees, and I'm pretty sure I was doing the same thing with her (not the deadlifts though! Just my lil 45 degree squats and low step ups) I'm just happy to be doing something again! Being good and still icing my knees after every walk/workout. Really don't want to start going backwards!!


Bla stupid rent inspection tomorrow... I hate renting! It was so much easier living in our own place!! Actually so much easier living on our own too, but I'm slowly getting used to it. I feel a bit crowded at home as I like spending time by myself too, but don't really seem to get to much anymore.


Anyhoo. Thought I'd post tomorrows plan now in case I finish later and can't be bothered posting tonight!


Food for tomorrow

Breakfast: Smoothie with kiwifruit, banana, spinach, chia seeds, coconut butter

Snack: Row of raw dark chocolate

Lunch: Lentil burger on a chia seed bun with cheese and tomato

Dinner: Macaroni and uncheez casserole with spinach and broccoli


Exercise is a 30min walk. Should be a fairly lazy day tomorrow, have no plans after the inspection in the morning. Hoping to just chill out! Might do some cooking for dinner for the weekend but that'll be about the extent of it. Should end the day with a 787cal deficit.
 
Morning all... I actually managed to have a really good sleep last night for what felt like the first time in AGES. Went to sleep really early then woke up at like 5am though, lol... Changed my breakfast smoothie today, I decided to try different fruit so bought some yesterday. This morning I had grapefruit and pear, unfortunately I don't think I had enough pear because it was still pretty sour... Still drinkable though, I got through it and felt insanely good afterward. Love how hydrated I feel after a huge smoothie in the morning!!! Went for my walk around 6am, it was surprising cool outside for once. And SO cloudy!! If I was still down south I wouldn't have gone as it looked like it was going to pour down, but up here I really doubted it. And no, it didn't rain lol. Just waiting for the property manager to get here for the rent inspection then the rest of the day is mine!


Felt fairly crappy again most of yesterday, the mirror really wasn't my friend... I kept expecting to see myself suddenly bigger again, just because I SO felt it. Blah being a woman sucks sometimes, TOM can be a real head fuck!! Feeling better about myself again today, it just sucks some days instead of seeing how far I've come, I'm just seeing how much further I have to go. Cuz of TOM as well I haven't dared have a sneaky peak at the scales this week, though I'm dying to see what the extra cals and activity are doing to my weight!!! I'm just feeling impatient right now. Gaaaaah. Lol.


Unsure whether I'll be posting again today or not, so I'll post tomorrows food plan...

Exercise is my strength training routine. I'm working 6am-3pm in the bakery tomorrow... wicked fun for a Saturday... Should end with an 802cal deficit for the day!
 
After sitting in the house all day like a slug, and after eating all my meals I felt pretty antsy to get up and do something, so I went out and did a bit of shopping with Wade when he got home from work. Feeling really bloaty and rank again today, and I thought sitting at home was making me feel worse... even walked to the kitchen and out again several times thinking of snacking- I didn't though! So while I was out I thought I'd grab a coffee- haven't had one in FOREVER. Bad idea, I got through about half of a small skim flat white on the way home, and had to stop because I started feeling kinda sick. So now I'm at home, INCREDIBLY bloated and I feel so sick to my stomach. I don't really consume dairy at all, so I'm thinking that's the culprit (even the cheese I eat isn't really cheese, I eat soy free cheezly... Just easier for me to write cheese) So yea. Me and my sensitive stomach :ack2: Added a few more cals for the day for the coffee, just half a cup of skim milk- so ended the day on around a 691cal deficit. So blah... ending the day curled up in bed sipping water!!


In other news... I got my new bikini in the mail today! It fits, but it's tight in a few areas- so hoping that it'll be awesome by the time I go on hols in 2 months!! Something to push myself for!! (Within reason, not about to injure myself again!) Did I mention that the bottoms are a size 8??? Little bit of a muffin but they definitely fit!!! It's really just the top that's the problem, boobs must shrink!!! (the top is a 10F/ 32F) Kinda squashes them a bit... but I'll get there!!!! <----------- DETERMINED!!!


Oh, thought I'd mention too- 4 perfect days down, 3 to go!!! (Perfect days this month being 689cal+ deficit in a day and exercise)

So sorry, i've neglected you :( I have been so busy i've only posted my diary. I'm sorry i haven't been there for you when you have felt fat and crappy!!!

I totally know what you mean, you've read my diary so you will believe me on that :) It is not fair how fucked up in the head we get sometimes!!! I really don't get how we are so convinced that we have gained half a tonn over night!!!
I still see my body as fat even though i know i am so much smaller than i was but i can't see that anymore. We really do need to take a look at what we have acheived rather than what is left to go. I keep having to tell myself that my jeans are a size 12, my new knickers are 10/12 but my brain still sees me as the same as before.

You are bloody stunning!!! SKINNY and really sexy with awesome boobs, i'm so jealous!!!

You're doing great! Just a question, how do you calculate your calorie deficit? How many calories do you limit yourself to everyday?


I'm thinking of starting some smoothies, but I'm not big on fruits and veggies (defeats the purpose probably) anything healthy you'd suggest?
