Need a routine

Hey, well my question regards me needing some help. Me myself I have never pesonally worked out of know muscle growth or protien shakes or even some muscle names. Well Im 16 and I not fat or anything but I don't really know how to tone my muscles or make them bigger (refering to the biceps and triceps). I was wondering if somoene could post a good training regents, I know eating well is a must for anyone but I don't really know how to work out. Right now I want to focus on the abs while slowly working out the arms. I don't expect immediate results like all those infomercials offer, but a good workout (gow to do the excercise if you can) , what I need (a mat or what not), how many a day or a week and anything else I didn't say. Thanks in advance.

You are 16 and have not been working out....You need a GPP (General Physical Prep) workout. You should be doing a full body workout, not just arms and abs. If you do just a few you will become unbalanced and risk injury. Plus, you will just look silly. First thing is you are going to need core strength before bodybuilding will be of any significance to you. The absolute best exercise for building core strength is Dead Lifts. Do these and your whole body will get a workout and you will start to feel REAL SOLID like a rock. Your body will tone into shape quite impressively. Then after a while of doing this you may advance to bodybuilding. Just remember, bodybuilding is not functional, only cosmetic. If you play any sports, or want to, it is better to stay with strength training.
