nataliejo's diary: Moving, flowing, grooving forward... change is coming...

When I'm at home I use oranges in my water when we got them. Well, it's a cross between an orange and a lemon. But it's super yummy and makes my water taste good. Oh and when I make real homemaid lemonaid, I use lemons and an orange or two, I think it tastes better that way and allows me to cut back on the sugar that I'd normally put into it.

OH and I also use those Crystal light lemonade packets in my 20 oz bottle water that I take to work. The whole night I constantly fill up that water bottle, but 1x in the night I use that Crystal light packet. It gives me a change and yet it's low in calories. Plus, I'm not a soda drinker.

Anyway, I'm glad Peter loves you as the curvy girl you are! You should still go with you're goal weight, because if he really likes you he will like you at 220 or 175 if that's what you wanna be. He sounds like a great guy, and I'm happy for you! I'm glad to hear things are going good for you two! Your plans for April sound awesome! I'm jealous!

My goal was actually like 165, but my family thinks thats too low ..because I take after my father and he is big boned ..and my wrist is large ..and thats the bone .. I am a little braud .. you know ... so actually 175 would be good ..but I do like to have a heavier waist line ..just not too heavy .. I would be extremely thin at 175, and thats not my goal .. I still want some heft to me ..so something like 200-220 would be nice .. I would really enjoy the hips and junk in my trunk .. I dont want to be super thin ..my aim is to be healthy ..but love my body too and I do like a little heft like I said ..lol ..

When I was 17 I was 175 and looked good ..but I looked hot at 250 too ... I looked really hot ..so I am sure I will be smoking between 200-220 ... lol I have pic from when I was 245-250 and I am jealous of myself in the pic ..because my stomach was completely in and I looked good ..the boys would come a calling at that weight lol .. I dont know if I liked all the attention ..but it was nice to be noticed and flattery was nice .. I am looking forward to being 25 pounds less ..than I will be 250 ..than on to my next goal of 220 and if I want 200 lol ...
but its all good over here

and as far as the slices ..they do sound good and you make your own lemonade ..lucky .. I cant drink it because it would spike my suger too much.. I dont want to get into that lol

I am trying to build up to a gallon of water a day ..because I read a gallon is good for you .. u know
there's no one size fits all water requirement - one formula I've seen is half your body weight in ounces -- but what you really want to pay attention to is the color of your urine.. if it's anything but pale yellow to almost clear - you're not drinking enough water... (unless medication you're on is causing a change)

Hello everyone,
So I am thinking of doing aerobics ..dancing today .. I can get my heart rate really high for twenty to thirty minutes and just kick it going up and down the stairs .. I make sure when I am home I walk a certain way going up the stairs ..deliberate and I use my heart a little ...I really dont lose breath anymore ..which is good ..but I do go flying up the stairs quite a few times a day to incorporate it in my day! u know .. so thats good ..so I am going to incorporate music in my day .. I have been down ..so its hard to dance ..but if I force myself to dance I am happy than ... :) So I will be jumping up and down and dancing ...


I am so looking forward to when my parents leave .. I will be rockin' it .. :hurray::hurray:

Ok everyone,
so I did a 25 minute walk, not oh so wonderful, not my best, but pretty good for me. I added five minutes. And later I am going to dance/aerobisize for fifteen minutes, so that would keep it at a total of forty minutes exercising. I notice I lose faster weight if I do fifteen minute of high powered dancing. And I do know how to get my groove on .. I actually would study Janet Jackson videos and I learned how to dance, hot dancing lol but one that really uses your legs and stomach and butt...so I am going to blast away some calories. I am gonig right now to put a pair of shorts on ...because I am sweating now from my walk, its fifty degrees out. So I added five minutes to my walk and hopefully will do thirty minutes tomorrow and tomorrow I will wear a lighter shirt. ITs so windy out there, my hair was flying everywhere ..and one problem was my feet and ankles ..they were hurting ..my left for a long time ..felt like a pinched nerve to me, but it could me just not walking properly because I am not taking my long walks right now. I have to build up to them. I am definitely enjoying the more healthy moves.... Havent talked with Peter yet today, but thats all good. I am liking the business of walking ... and exercising .. I am sure I will talk with him later ...

and I weighed in at 274.8 today, but I figure I will have gained by tomorrow, because I binged really badlly last night ..

Im on my way, Time to kick spring into season!!

Well gals and guys! Thats it!! I am bringing out the bike. lol I have had enough of this no bike thing for this season. No snow almost on the ground. The side roads are clear. I am going biking tomorrow! Whoot Whoot! I did like seven pilates on my pilates cardio and strengthening my legs, holy meow, it targetted all the areas that I use with my bike. My bike actually took the cellulite on my legs away, because I was doing 15 mile bike rides every weekend and than there were a couple times I did the 21 mile bike ride to Cape Naddeck for North Berwick...those were awesome trips... stopping by peach farms and buying peaches ..my suger would be low, so I would wolf the kiwis down ..oranges, pluots, peaches .. I ate fruit like a mad woman and drank way more than two liters of water a day and I always had to consume gatorade to keep me going for electrolights ..

but anyway ..the gatorade will be pulled out and the water bottles are in gear .. my first ride will be a seven mile ride ..yipee!!
and I will walk for thirty minutes too ..hopefully I can fit both in tomorrow .. I want to ..so I shall try very hard, but I definitely want to bike, because these leg muscles need building ..cellulite loss is a plus ..but I just want strong and healthy muscles and bones ... looks like a good plan for me.. now I just have to clean the entry before I bring up the bike, because they will have my arse if I dont clean the entry and put the bike in there lol after this whole winter, the bike has been down stairs ..so the tires need to be pumped up, but the entry has so much dirt in it from tracking in sand ..

btw .. I am so going to kick butt with this weight loss... I will be 274 by May and will be 270 by the end of June or in the middle of summer ...every oz counts!!
My ultimate goal is to be 265 by my birthday ..which is October 7th .. I dont see any problem in reaching that goal ... here I come another fifteen pounds!! Whoot whoot!

Well I brought the bike up after cleaning the entry. Cleaning and shook the rugs.. filled the tires up with air ..its all set to go tomorrow .. awesome dudes and dudettes lol I am so stoked. The Climbing up the steep, winding stairs was massively crazy lol but fun ..well it was ...I feel so exhilierated ..

So I ate horribly today and tonight .. not meals ..just grazing all day ..except I did have a breakfast ..a good one ..
but tomorrow is another day ..
actually tonight is a new night ..going to not binge tonight ..except there is an orange ..and strawberries. ..finally fruit ...

so I will prepare strawberries or orange slices or both and I will eat some tonight when I get up ..because I know myself so well ...

yep ..good stuff ..eat fruit ...

well I have salmon tonight with veggies and sweet potato ..

so .. I will and can do this ..and tomorrow I am going to give myself one hell of a work out

Biking is an AWESOME plan!! I need to start dusting off my own bike and head out to the great outdoors as well. :) I really hope the weather cooperates for you tomorrow!

As far as the binges go - when you eat "healthy" for a day, do you find yourself feeling hungry? I just wonder if you're depriving yourself of things your body is used to too much and then it craves them to the point that it causes you to binge. I dunno, I'm probably way off but I was just thinking how I feel if I don't eat enough during the day - it makes me want to just go crazy when I get home at night!! Just a thought.

I actually did pretty good last night with the binging .. I thought about what I was eating and thought .. "I will only have three, and thats it and left the other two items behind" so I did pretty good

and I didnt bike today, but I did walk... it was all good!

Hello All!
Well today was a big day, or morning for me. I took a 42 Minute walk, instead of a twenty or twenty five minutes walk! When I realized I was doing the whole treck .. I almost started crying ... because I said to myself "oh my word, I am going all the way today!" yea.. my motivation is back, but I am not going bike riding today, but that pilates dvd is harsh.. I am going to work on that baby ..only was able to get through seven minutes of it and its a twenty minute work out lol .. it sucked .. I was in so much pain and almost couldnt hold the poses ... its was crazy when I used the hip thigh flexer .. I was in so much pain .. I was crying lol I am going to try to get past that part and move onto the next part and get to the point where I know that work out backward and inwards ..I am so excited ..

and I am still at 274.8 pounds!! Its sticking down two pounds, so I think my Monday morning weigh in will be good!!

Congratulations on having met your May goal already! You're doing so fantastically well! And I'm so happy for your long walk--also jealous of the bicycle. I haven't ridden a bike in years and have been thinking lately how much I would like to. Perhaps I need to think about purchasing one second-hand or something, though I don't know where I'd store it.

You can find bikes at Yard sales, but usually have to do a overhaul ...which is around one hundred dollars ..I would suggest a road bike with many gears .. its all good ...

I hope you find one that pleases you :)

and thanks Sophie, I still can't believe I have reached it and I am afraid that it is lying lol I havent been this love for three years lmao ... its such ..a big thing u know ..but its been like this for a few days .. I hope I see a loss tomorrow or the same number, I worked my butt of today, I think enough to work off more weight ...

So lets see today I got work out ..

42 minute walk
constantly moving all day, up and down the stairs ..I was everywhere and running lol
and I ice picked the front mound of rock hard ice ..man did that for fifteen minutes .. I was out of breath and hammering away at that thing constantly and than picking up the ice with a shovel and moving it farther away underneath where the dryers air comes out of the house .. works for me

Tomorrow snow ... I am not sure what I will do ..but I have an idea
that kick ass pilates dvd I am thinking with free weights and bench weights ..
I think that would work me out good

Hey Veronica,
Its actually next weekend, not this weekend. But I plan to work my butt off this weekend. Supposed to be total sunny skies Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is supposed to be 36 degrees, still going to go walking for 42 minutes, but not biking, too cold for biking. I like to bike in fifty or more. U know, because when the wind when your moving can be cold, so I would rather go when it warmer, plus we have snow again, icks! lol but I am going Sunday to on my 42 minute walk ... its supposed to be 44 degrees or something like that .. perfect weather for walks ..right now its snowing like a banchee and the plow just came through, so that means a lot! of snow in front of the driveway ..we are only getting five inches, but still sucks! lol its only supposed to last until 4 pm about ..thats when the Weather advisory stops ...u know ...
but anyway ... things with Peter are awesome and I have reached and dall new loss ...wowser ...273.8 ... I just hope it sticks ... for weigh in day lol or goes lower lmao :party::party::party:

All time low folks!! I weighed in at 273.8 pounds...
today... I am so excited. I can't believe this is happening to me. I never thought I would lose this weight. I am thinking its some kind of fluke ..but I have been really working it inside and outside of the house.. I was moving constantly yesterday ..which I love ..with the pilates today and the laundry having to be taken upstairs and sweeping ... vaccumining ..etc .. I seem to be moving on a constant basis ..plus shoveling today ..which I have to do in a few minutes ..

I dont know what my body is doing ..but it is losing .. I am going to start incorporating weights into my regime today.. I hope .. I will be so busy today .. I really hope I get it in .. I would love to lose these bat wings ..as much as Peter says I am hot and says he loves my arms and my whole body ..I still want to lose the weight .. I think I am hot ..but there are parts of my body that I want to transform lol
He says he doesnt want me losing any lower than 200, which is fine with me. .. I will be healthy .. I will be toned .. I will be thinner ..over one hundred pounds thinner ... one hundred and twenty pounds thinner than what I was lol ...and I will be very happy with my body and myself .. I already feel hot ..

I dont know if I am going to do the pilates today. Havent decided what I am going to do now ..will have to think on it...maybe I will do my regular aerobics ..anyway I am changing into some shorts and tank top to get ready for my exercise and will be using free weights today

but I can't use a wrist weight, because of the nails or screws I have in my hand, which are holding my hand together. With the free weights I watch my hand and wrist move ..where as if I am walking my wrists twists ..but if it has too much weight on it..it could break again ..u know

so gotta keep trecking ..so I am going to run

I got to change my ticker today. But I didnt put it all the way down to what I am weighing in at. But according to the ticker I have five pounds to go and I will be at 270 pounds, which is fing awesome .. I havent been that low for three years and when I reach 265.. make that four years ... wow ... I was 260 four years ago.. I gained from 260 pounds to 320 pounds over the period of three years... and than after that third year I said finally "Thats it .. I need to lose this weight!" ..so I started off into a journey that led me to 292 pounds and I slackened ... but than my sister lost seventy freaking pounds and weighed 260 and I was so jealous lol you know how sisters can be ..and than she called me the "pillsbury dough boy" and I said you are right and I jiggled my stomach and realized I was ..so now I weigh 273.8 because I got back on the ball! Sawwweet .. I am so happy she was so brutally honest with me ..but she did tell me while patting my head "you can do this Natalie!"

so I took her for her word and have been doing it ..but all of you have helped me do .. I would be up at 300 pounds right now with out this forum and all your gorgeous peeps ..

thanks so much for sticking in my diary... lol I love you all so much and am so here to support every single one of you!!

btw I am doing regular aerbics today ... Going to conquer pilates another day lmao ..tomorrow I am walking for 42 minutes and so it goes every day after that ..and run around the house up and down the stairs ..doing chores ..seems to be working my constant movement ..and thats what I will continue to do folks ..

Yey!!! Natjo, well done! You can do this! You are doing so well... You definitely can!

However, even if Peter thinks 200 is a good weight, he is not you and only you can decide which weight YOU would like to be. If you get to 200 and you think, you know what my BMI would be better and my life and body would look nicer if I lose another 20 or 30 pounds then do it, for yourself! Because you know guys come and go, and the right guy will stay no matter which weight you are!

My man wanted me thinner, but other than sometimes saying I could lose some pounds he never said he wanted me at a specific weight. And neither do I. I love him and that is what counts. Now if he gets very skinny or very big and is unhappy... that is something else, I want him to be happy! But at which weight everyone is happy... is independent on what other people think of which weight would look the best on you.

However, since 200 and the whole debate is still 70 pounds away from now... we can leave this post til then ;)!
