Aerobics today, something different...

I think ... hello everyone...
I am going to do aerobics for forty minutes and than use the small weight.. only five pounds ones for my arms and do girl push ups and what not ... I plan to work it today!!

Hey everyone else as well!!
I don't know if I look gorgeous now lmao ...My hair, I am trying to grow it out and sprouts are coming out at the sides!! lmao...

Oh well .. I have a long year to grow my hair in ...I shaved the back and it was a cute cut, but guys like short hair and I was really attractive with short hair. I should post pics of me with long hair, maybe I will make it my avitar ... and I will update the avitar when it grows out a bit ..but I am going to have to keep it bevelled ... for a while, until the back grows back in ..because it was kind of shaved a bit lol ..not allllllllllllllllll the way down, but very close to the scalp lol to give you an idea!! Its a VERY CUTE cut... but I pull of long hair better... lol
Well ...
I did a 32 minute walk, rapid heart rate, even right up to my own door ..constantly pounding ...nice ..and ice cold water for the walk ...

did 15 minutes aerobics too .. I got bored of the aerobics and decided to get my duff outside .. my tummy is shrinking slowly .. I am going to work on the bench tonight, because my arms finally don't hurt much ..just going to do two reps on the push bar ... than I am going to do two reps for my legs and inner thighs and stomach ...and than I am going to do two reps on other parts of the bench ...we have this bench and its kind of like a universal ..it works ..because I don't want to pay for a gym membership when I don't live near the gym, have no car to get there, and love even walking in blizzards! lol

I am picking up a rain coat next month ... which is just around the corner ... next Tuesday I am going to go to Fashion Bug and look for one, so I can go walking in the rain, when its balmy and warm ... It was raining for weeks and weeks last spring and summer and I didn't have anything to protect me from the rain ..so I never went outside and never had the motivation for aerobics ..it gets boring ..a couple times I just went outside and got soaked and I would dry off when the sun came back and by the time I was home I was all dry ..wierd huh ..but those were the best days lol The sun was hot too .. I will have to go cycling this year too!! I am so looking forward to no more snow .. the sidewalks were all clear today, except for a few spots ..it was a beautiful walk ..no sun, cloudy ...but a nice temp ...

Thanks for stopping in! Yea I love exercise. Its a lot of fun. I am looking forward to my raincoat, so I can walk during the rain. I don't want to be wearing my rain winter jacket during summer! lol a thin raincoat will work next month...

oh boy!! and the following month.. in April ...I am buying these pockets weights that you attach to your leg and wrists ...

they have pockets and you can put little weight inside them, not dumbells, but little squares, because the pockets are little square pouches ..and it goes from two pounds to ten pounds, two each time ...

I am going to start in April walking with two pound weights on my legs and wrists .. I hope it works ... well ...

Just be careful with the wrist weights, you have to keep your wrists straight, not swinging or they can cause carpel tunnel and RSI - ouch!

those pretzels were probably making you retain water. all that sodium...

Really? Than the wrist weight are no doable .. I had my hand broken a couple years a go...and if I put too much weight on it, or my wrist turns a certain way ...well they would have to amputate the wrist off and above, because there are steel rods in my hands keeping two of the fingers together ..straight ...I am lucky they were able to fix it. Its hard to wear a watch on it, so I switch wrists, because I also have an injury that was never fixed in the other hand, my tendon in my pinky finger is not connected any longer... I guess the wrist weights would be a horrendous idea .. I really don't want to lose the hand ..it cost more than 1000 dollars to fix it ... it was crazy ...

But the leg weights would work .. I am so happy you told me ...thank you so much!!! :)
This saves my wrists and hands ...

I would have been swinging and twisting my hands and wham ..something horrible would have happened ..

I am staying away from sodium ..have not touched the pretzels today, had
yoplait yogurt ... cherry! It was good and I had breakfast ..a nice breakfast ..very good! I am going to take 1/2 a sandwhich with me to school ..because I will be there until eight pm ...

Hurrah for beating the sodium demon, gods knows we all fall victim to it becuase things high in it always seem to be the snacks we crave ( I actually kind of want pretzels right now).

Any hope of dragging you back to the aerobics you seem so easily bored of? any tapes or programs you could follow. Not saying you need it since you seem to have a system worked out but a little never hurt.

Also becuase I'm nosy how exactly did you break your hand ( feel free not to explain if you don't want to.

Oh I broke my hand in a very complicated way, but lemme just say four weeks after the loss of the movement, I was cycling again lmao in a hand splint ... talk about obsessed with biking lol
I plan to biking this year, but I have to get a better splint to make sure if I fall ... I won't break it ..they can never fix it again if I break it and twist it the wrong way ...

Yea pretzels are some of my problems ..but now I only have a little bit ..once in a while ...lol .. after going up so much in weight and than dropping so low after not eating pretzels for a couple days .. I was shocked ..that they could do that ... they brought me up five to nine pounds ...now I am back down nine pounds ..to 281 ..almost in the 270s .. I am so excited!!!

I would probably do fifteen minutes of aerobics during certain days ... There is one person I want to buy ... Denise Austin tape ..she makes the work out so interesting ..lol and hard ...

but I plan to use aerobics during the summer on days higher than 90 degrees ... but I plan to cycle on days where it is too hot to walk ... and the hair suppresses your heart beating or breathing, because we do get days like that! :)

I will def be using aerobics at points ...but for eight weeks we were raining and almost flooded last year, I would walk during the rain and walk under a close thunderstorm ..which I won't be doing again ..but the rain won't bother me ... I will have a rain coat, thin ... for this spring and summer .. I hate holding a umbrella up .. I like to swing my arms ..lol thus not being able to use hand weights ..but I will be using ankle weights .. in April I will be buying those ...

Today was a good day!! :)

Hello everyone,
Well today has been a good day!! I ate so well I am shocked lol

And I have only eaten two meals today so far, pretty decent ones and I have eaten one snack ..a yoplait yogurt--cherry...

and I do have a snack for later, while I am in my last class, or right before class
and little bit of Strawberries, cut up and no tops ...

I am very happy about my food choices today and how much I have eaten, usually I just eat house and home and just leave the kitchen sink ... :biggrinjester:

But tonight I am having 1/2 pound of salmon, sweet potato, and veggies or salad. Preferably salad. I think I will make up a good salad for my mom and I... good idea. I love salad. We use Red Wine Vinegrette with Olive oil and I use Balsmic vinegrette with basil in it and Olive oil ...they taste so wonderful .. I could eat salad all day!! but even too much of a good thing can be bad, as my book has told me. Grazing over food is bad too ..so I am trying to not graze ..very difficult!! I am a binger, food addict and this food control is very hard for me...
but the walking is easy .. I love it ... but I still got winded going up the stairs at school ..kind of disappointed, but all the more reason to stay focused .. I didn't walk today, too much reading to do for class, and I am not sure if He will be having one final quiz for the term ...so I must be going soon ...

Your workout plan sounds spectacular! Reading it makes me actually yearn for warm weather again so I can enjoy the great outdoors. :)

I was wondering when you were going to write in your diary lmao

I am happy u are sticking around. You can have pretzels, but keep it in moderation .. lol

I didn't have any today, but probably have them as a snack before supper tomorrow night, as I am waiting for it all to cook ..

Tomorrow I am going to Boston to eat out and go to the Boston M of Science... it should be a lot of fun ..walking around .. I would like to go to my sisters In Somerville and chat over tea ... that would be nice ...

I am going to try to not to eat in the middle of the night tonight..
but since knowing that I am taking time off, and going back to school in September .. I will be able to get a better feelings all around in life if I take this time off ...time to exercise ... volunteer at the library, clean house. .

I am actually excited I will get to do my own laundry ..and I want to put together my new bookcase for my wall ...because I have so many books ... they are crawling across the floor lol ... I love books and reading ... :)

Goodness you're so motivated!
I'm a book worm too. I bought my second bookcase a year ago and its already overflowing. My sister is the same as me and our mother can't understand why we would want to buy books that we can get in a library or why we would read a book more than once! I love second hand book stores, but theres nothing quite like a brand-spanking-new crisp clean book. I go through 'author phases', for example, I bought all of the Anne Rice books, then all of the Robin Hobb books, PD James, I'm on a Dean Koontz phase right now. Then theres 'genre phases' when I'll go in to a second hand store and buy all the horrors I can afford, then all the thrillers, biographies..... :drooling:
 
Our bookcases and wall units are jampacked with books as are some of our dresser drawers ^-^' Nothign wrong with a few hundred good books.

Jennylee have you read, Fear nothing? yes. favorite Dean koontz book ever.

Nat, do you sit or lay when you read?
