My weight loss transformation (A work in progress)

Going to attempt HIIT today

I will attempt HIIT today and try to do it every alternate day if all goes well. Hopefully, I can see results in a week or two.
 
My attempt at HIIT

I did HIIT for 8 minutes yesterday. I probably didn't do it right but I aimed for walkinn at 30 seconds and running at 8.5 mph for seconds. I couldn't keep up with 8.5 mph for 30 seconds sometime and reduced it to 20 seconds. I wasn't in the best of mood yesterday. I will attempt HIIT tomorrow again and aim for 15 minutes.

My weight is down to 170.8 today. I think it is because I didn't drink the right amount of water yesterday but we'll see.
 
When I first started I Couldn't run at max for a minute, so I reduced it to 30 seconds. Start slow, do what works for you. It works well.
 
Weighed in @ 169.6 pounds today

I weighed in at 169.6 pounds today. Not sure why, HIIT or lack of water, but feels good. Double chin still there though...)

9.6 more pounds to the goal
 
Height 5 feet 8 inches

I am 5 feet 8 inches. I think that I don't have much loose skin but mostly fat. Not sure though. I wish the double chin had disappeared at this weight point but ................... It is smaller than before though.

At what weight point did you see the loose skin?

Well, I noticed the loose skin throughout the entire weight loss. I'm 5'7'', I used to be 200 lbs in high school. I lost 20 something lbs down to 179ish. (probably upper seventies) I was in good shape at that point. I didn't have any loose skin, and very little flab. After I gained 90 lbs, at around 250, and got back to 179, I noticed the loose skin. I remembered how I looked like after boot camp, and that I didn't look the same. In fact, it looked worse! Like more fat! So, it was obviously skin.

I'm now 156. 20 lbs less than that ideal weight...the 'fat' is still there, except its not fat, its skin, just looks like fat. The loose skin can be dangerous and make us think we have fat when we don't. Of course, you also have to be realistic and ask yourself it is fat or skin, but at your weight it most likely is mostly skin. Can you post a photo?
 
Hard to say. Looks like a combo of loose skin maybe on the front. Looks similiar to me actually with the love handles( being loose skin). Are you watching what you're eating? I heard that eating poorly even in a calorie deficient can make you look dfiferent when you lose weight. But I still think you have a little to lose. How old are you? Your skin loses elasticity as you age.

Age: 32. Doctor said that I have excellent skin elasticity.
Diet: I am watching what I am eating. A lot of protein, a lot of veggies and brown bread. I think that I am calorie deficient. For first 2 months, I was on a no carb diet and then on a low carb diet for 1 month. Now , I am on a healthy diet taking enough carbs.

Not sure but disappointed ... I think that I gymed out. Just been doing stationary bike for 30 mins at a low pace(12.1 mph resistance level 4) and weight lifting for last 3 days. Just don't feel like I have the energy nor the will.

One of those weeks...Maybe take couple of days off. I like to get down to 160 pounds. Not sure if the double chin will disappear but at this point don't think it will. :)

Yeah I'm constantly tired too. Woke up today at 9 am, was completely fatiqued, not rested, took another nap a couple hours later for 4 hours, still tired, almost took another nap, or tried anyway. i ddin't go to the gym today. You gotta force yourself tho

You can do it! What is a double chin anyway?

You are an inspiration buddy! Let's see how it goes. I just had ice cream after 4 months. Feels very good!
