Hey girl make sure you don't go starving. You're doing great and I'm excited for your new exercise classes that you're doing. Its okay to fill up on vegetables, they're good for you and free calories.

Hi, I know I normally eat more, after I posted that I did have some carrots in hummus, I just added that now :)

Mini Goal: 195 pounds by Jan. 27th! A week ago I was 197 pounds, and I have been really good all week and on the 27th I have a doctor's appointment for my scoliosis and they take my height and weight with my parents there, and I think they will be really happy to see that I weigh less than before! Last time I was 91 kg, so if I am at 83 kg that will be great :)

Well done, you are doing great. It's so nice to see somebody your age taking care of their health :)

It's even nicer to see someone of that age who can string together a coherent sentence, without resorting to internet shorthand or textspeak.

Well done LaurenDobi, you seem to have a lot going for you. I wish you all the best with weight loss, good luck!!!

Thank you, I learned to read early as a child and learned about grammar and good spelling so now it's a habit I guess. :D

I wanted to go for a walk today but my feet have been troubling me. About two months ago I got orthotics to help with my ankles that roll in. I wear them pretty much every other day as I keep them in one pair of shoes I regularly wear, but I alternate with boots and flats etc. By the way I am 13 and I also have a slight difference in leg lengths. Anyway, the have helped build muscle and my ankles don't roll in as easily adn are normally kept straight, but now it makes me want to walk on the outsides of my feet, like kind of tip the outside down so when I walk the insides of my feet don't touch the ground and all my weight's on the outer sides of my feet. This makes them hurt though because I have wide feet and they kinda have lumps on the sides and all my weight on them is hurting me. I'll try a walk after school tomorrow, I'm going to maybe go jump on my trampoline if it's not frozen and play more Just Dance tonight.

edit: I bought a scale and no real difference yet. Now that I know what my weight is for sure I really am going to button down and try hard.

Edit: ugh, binged on about 250 calories worth of chips :( plus, the scale I got is crap, first tole me I weighed 200, then 140, then 240! :p tomorrow will be a better day.

I bought a scale! I weighed myself with a full stomach and clothes and I am 200 :( Tomorrow morning I'll weigh with no clothes and an empty stomach, and work even harder!

You have been doing so well, don't let a number on the scale get you down! Keep up your great work, don't get discouraged, and don't weigh yourself every day - that (for me) is THE easiest way to lose motivation and get completely discouraged.

Keep at it, you are doing great!!

Thanks, the scale I bought was crap, returning it for a digital, the dial never went back to zero and first said I was 200 then 250 which is not possible since the last two scales I stood on in the past week that were different said 200 lol.

I had to buy a new scales......it just would not give me the weight I wanted to see, so I threw it in the trash and bought a new scale, lol

Well, it probably wasn't the best idea to buy the cheapest scale there and I know it's off because I put a 15 pound weight on it and at first it said it was 30 pounds, then 5 pounds lol.

Anyways, this is for Jan 10, 2011

Other half of chocolate muffin
Banana
Chai Tea

Lunch:
Turkey, lettuce and mustard on multigrain bread

5 baby carrots
1 tbsp hummus (35 cals)

More baby carrots and hummus
Ice water

2.5 small cabbage rolls (boiled cabbage with rice and a little ground beef)

Snack:
Apple chips (alternative to chips :) )

Exercise:
1 hr card workout
45 mins just dance 2

Today in P.E. I had signed up for the step aerobics for our fitness unit but the teacher had taught 5 in a row and was tired, so we did 4 Biggest Loser workouts. We did two cardio, one abs, and one upper body. They were a lot of fun and not too hard! That took about an hour. I'm going to go play Just Dance 2 later for about 45 minutes, then just some regular weights and crunches. I binged yesterday on chips but now I am back on track!

Good for you for getting back on track after the crisp binge. And that sucks about the scale not being accurate, can you return it?

Stopping by to say hi and see how you are doing. You're really working out hard and doing a good job. Give yourself lots of credit and pats on the back. Keep it up and you will amaze yourself at what you can do. Getting started is the hardest part and you are doing it!

Sorry I haven't posted, I've been sick! I had the flu for a couple days so I didn't eat very much but that was okay because i didn't exercise either, but now today I had an allergic reaction to some other medication and the side affect of the medication I have for the allergic reaction is extreme increased appetite and cravings. :( It's lunchtime and so far I have had a bunch of random food like oatmeal, slice of cheese, bite of bread, piece of chocolate, yogurt, goat cheese, and crackers. :( THey were all in pretty small amounts (like one or to bites) but still. :( I do have synchronized swimming later today though.
