My slimming journey

Omg I haven't written down some thoughts in a while.

Wedding season is in full swing and we are living and breathing weddings. Whether it's shooting or editing or pre-wedding meetings. But as busy as we are I'm loving every minute of it!

Weight wise I'm down to 84.2kg this morning. And I had a cheat on Saturday - I ate a small piece of sweet bread - OH YUMM!!!!!!! First bread that crossed my lips in almost 6 months - Can you believe it!!! And I looooove my bread. I savored that moment when I ate that bread - it was simply delish:biggrinjester:

The weight loss has slowed down as I don't get to eat 3 meals a day. Normally its breakfast and dinner. But I'm ok with it for now. As long as the scale is moving.

Have a fab week y'all - happy losing!

Hey Mands! It's been almost a month since you've stopped by your thread. I'm sure you're just super busy, but I wanted to stop by and say hi. I hope all is well with you! :)

Hey MandyH, tx for stopping by.

Life is craaaaazy at the moment as I'm living, breathing & hardly eating weddings at the moment. Very stressed at the moment to keep up with all my work and albums etc. But although I'm a stressed out photographer I'm absolutely loving life and love my job! Feel very blessed to be doing what I do.

Weight wise my weight is going very slow as I don't get to eat my 3 meals per day and I can see when I skip a meal I just stand still. I'm currently on 83.9kg.

Been having small cheats here and there but not major and trying to limit the cheats. I still have 23kg to lose and I'm not losing site of that so I can stay on track.

I don't get any spare time to come on here as often as I want but will do when I have a minute to breathe.

WOW!! Can't believe it's been 6 months since my last entry.

Sooooo current status. Very bad news....picked up most of the weigth I lost in the first 4 months of 2013. I was doing really well until wedding season started and it all fell off the bus.

So I'm not going down the why's and why nots! It's a new year and I'm starting fresh.

So clocked in at 104kg and day 1 of my Cohen's diet again. I'm motivated and feeling inspired to get back on this bandwagon to a year of healthy!!

Will stop by some of the diaries to catch up!

HAPPY NEW YEAR y'all!

Hi Mands & Happy New Year to you, sweets! 2014 will be a great year. Good for you coming back in here. I think no matter how busy you are (& I know you got crazily busy!) taking the time to come in here & talking about how you're going is the best way of keeping the weight off. It is worth it in the long run. You can do it Mands. This time you will have even more knowledge, xoxo Cate

I have been flat on my back for 3 days after pulling a muscle in my lower back - OOOUUUCCCCHHHH!!! A few injections and pain killers later I'm sitting up and can walk like a normal human being. Still very careful how I move.

Weight loss I'm down to 102.7kg. Couldn't stick 100% to Cohens as the pain killers are very strong and had to eat a bit more than what I'm allowed to but I still managed to lose weight.

This year has to be the year that I achieve my goal weight and maintain it. This up and down up and down is no longer acceptable. Comfort food is out the window and I'm really going to make a huge effort to keep my emotional eating in check.

Some more good news I stopped smoking 6 weeks ago and I'm going strong. Use a vaporiser now and again when the craving hits me.

So cheers to a healthier 2014!!!

OUCH! Well done you on quitting smoking!! Losing weight & quitting smoking? They are probably the 2 most important things you can do to improve your health & I think that you are being very strong & smart. Great news Mands on 6 weeks! :D xo Cate

Congrats on quitting smoking. That's awesome! I'm also going to be working on the emotional eating. I've let mine get out of check for way too long, so it's like starting all over again. I'll be venting a lot in my diary to avoid eating, I'm sure. haha!

Glad to hear you're back up on your feet and walking around. :)

Wow 6 week, great job not smoking! And losing weight too? You are on a roll!! Probably 2 of the hardest things to do, and you are doing them at the same time.

Today was sorting out all the invoices and paperwork for our accountant. Something I really DONT like doing but had to power through it.

So the stress factor stepped it up a notch today and before I grabbed a chocolate I ran upstairs and blasted the music and bobbed my head like one of those bobbing things they put on their car's dashboard LOL!!! Can't boogy yet as my back is not quite there yet. It took about 3 songs and deep breaths and the craving passed. PHEW!!

So I've been begging hubby to pull out my trampoline so I can start rebounding once my back is up to it. And after 4 days of asking it's still in the shed.....men hey? :) So I'll try again tomorrow.

As the reason for my being overweight is emotions I will document more often some of the things that I need to to calm the eating bad habits. Whether people read it or not, I will put them down to release the pressure cooker - hiehie!!

Redesigning our website and blog and the release date is Friday - I'm sooooo excited as I've completely rebranded and redesigned everything. LOVING every minute of it!!!

Good job getting rid of the evil cravings! :) Sucks hubby hasn't taken out the trampoline for you but yes they do tend to do that.

Glad things are going well for you overall though :)

I totally clicked on your sig and found the Team Challenge thing...sent Omega a message to see if we could start up another one perhaps. Looks really good!

Mands, I think it's great that you managed to fight through a craving. That's one of the hardest things. You know, people say if you can get through it for 20 minutes that you'll forget about it and won't crave it anymore, but there have been times where I did that and it just kept going.

Anyways, glad to see you're still here and fighting!
