At this rate you should offer to sing me a song for getting below 200lb. In that case you'd have absolutely nothing to worry about! I'm at the point where I don't think it's ever gonna happen! LOL
You'll get there soon. But to be sure, I think you should ask MrVee to sing "Mandy" for you.

I would offer, but I'm a horrific singer unless I'm drunk or showering. Then I'm awesome!

Great weigh-in today. I came in at 358.4, down 1.4 pounds for the day and 98.6 pounds overall. I ate well and exercised, but this was a surprise. That puts me slightly ahead of schedule for the 100-lb loss marker, but I'm not getting too far ahead of myself... I could have a 3 day slowdown now. We'll just put in the work and hope for the best.
Other news, I stayed up late and watched a TV show called the "900 lb man" on the TLC network last night. It was about a young man in Guam (35 I think) who weighed 900 pounds and was trying to get gastric bypass to save his life. No such surgeries are done in Guam, and he was too heavy to fly out to have it done. The show covered a span of about 2-3 years, and sadly he eventually passed away at home before having the surgery. What struck me, was after listening to his story, his explanation for how he lost control and how he had fallen victim to such an extreme form of obesity was very similar to the things I had been doing wrong to get fat, just to a greater degree... he was
further down the pipeline, so to speak. Had I gained another 80-100 pounds, rather than start losing weight, I could have fallen into his trap... where his poor eating was finally compounded by his lack of mobility to the point where he completely lost all control.
I find it very sad that so many morbidly obese people still have the potential to solve their problems, but either lack the motivation, determination, or knowledge to ever start... and at some point, when their own hole gets deep enough, the option to fix it themselves gets taken away.
Anyway. Sorry if that's a downer, but it made me think.
