Day 43
from yesterday:
Wow! Hard to believe that it's been a month and a half. Well, this just goes to show that this truly is a journey, cuz even if you take a short cut and get a little lost, eventually you will find your way back on the right path again.
Food:
Breakfast- ok, not off to the best start... I was running so late yesterday morning I didn't have time to have any.
Lunch- about 1/2 a cup of cream of potato soup, salad (mixed greens) w/lowfat blue cheese crumbles, walnuts & lemon juice (instead of dressing)
Snack- 1 kiwi
Snack- 1 peach
Dinner- stuffed bell pepper w/rice mix (made w/sliced beef & onions, lowfat cream of mushroom soup, brown gravy mix & lowfat sour cream... like stroganoff)
Fitness:
On the days when I have to go to school and work, there is just not enough time in the day to hit the gym. Poor Ace hasn't been getting too many walks in either, cuz I leave too early and I can't walk him in the dark. Anyway, I am just going to make the days that I do have at the gym the best, most effective workouts ever! I'll be going about 4-5 days a week, so that is still great.
Fun:
Paul has been working like a madman lately, so I haven't seen too much of him with both of our crazy schedules. So, yesterday we spent some time snuggling under the blanket watching some TV.
Feelings:
I still have not weighed myself, guess I won't until tomorrow morning. So, I am really scared to see how much weight I have gained back. I have a physical on Friday, also... so we'll see what my Dr has to say about me needing to lose weight.
It just amazes me how quickly I was able to forget about my healthy nutrition & exercise. I am kinda scared by this whole experience cuz I KNOW that I do not want to eat fatty foods and be unhealthy. I will truly take this time as a learning lesson and hopefully if any of you are considering straying you will read this and realize that it is just NOT WORTH IT!
