Cant believe you are studying criminology, that is so cool:)
Anyways well done on losing so much weight, you look fabulus in the pics, you can really see that your hips and back have gone in!!
I can't believe your 12lbs away from a healthy bmi, that is AMAZING.

You have accomplished so much, well done pretty lady!! I know you will reach your goal weight in no time, you are really inspiring:)

Best of luck darling xoxox

Thanks ladies!

Thanks very IrishLadies, i'm glad you can take something good from this thread. I know its hard but stick at it, its a great feeling when you get nearer your goal. And you've already lost 21lb, thats awesome!!

Oooo I forgot to mention, I went clothes shopping for the first time in many months on Tuesday and it really boosted my confidence. I tried on a pair of size 12 jeans and they actually went on, and fastened! Admittedly they were a little tight but still, they were fastened. The size 14s were too big, but the 12s a bit small, so i'm a bit stuck in the middle at the moment. But still, so pleased because that last time I tried jeans on in a shop before Christmas and only the 18 would fasten, so massive improvement there.

I picked up some gorgeous tops, mainly size 12s, but a size 8 cardigan (it was a big fit so needed a smaller size, but it made me feel good nonetheless). And I even picked up a couple of skirts which I plan on wearing black tights with. Definitely feeling good about myself right now.

Well done on getting into the size 12's, that's wonderful!

I hope you're out of the areas that have been hit by the riots, I've seen the main shopping areas of Manchester on the news and they look terrible.

Luckily i've not got caught up in the rioting areas. Its not time for uni yet so i'm living back at home in Newcastle, so glad I wasn't in Manchester (my uni city) because my accommodation when i'm there is right in the city centre on one of the busiest roads and i'd of been freaking out. Hopefully its died down altogether now :)

I'm weighing 10 stone 5lb right now, can't believe it. Things have been going so good. I have 11lb to go to a healthy weight, it's getting closer!!

Hi STacy. I'm sure i've read and posted on your thread before but just now i've caught up with the last few pages. You've done really good. Congratulations.

Are you starting to look ahead now to the new goal? Anyway i reached my goal and went on maintenance for a few weeks. I just started putting it back on slowly, so now i've gone back on my diet regime. I continued to watch my weight daily and "try" to not eat too much while continuing to eat good healthy food and avoiding my weaknesses.

If you want ot either stay at your new lower weight or keep going and hten stay there, remember, you can't stop this program when you think you've arrived. Its gonna take a lot more than this to become a slim person through and through. I'm just suggesting you think a head a little bit because you are nearly at your first major goal.

I wouldn't like to see you go back wards soon after jsut as i do'nt want to see myself slide back to where i was before.

One useful thing i've done when i was off my "strict" diet, was to say if i go beyond 60kg again, then that's it, i have to act straight away and get back on my diet and that's what i've done today. Now i'm doing this i think i might resume my diet for longer and go to my ideal low weight, doing it a week at a time. sorry i'm blabbing on too much.

But all ii'm saying is, you are nearly there, put some strategies in place to make sure you stay at your best.

Thank you dearie :)

I definitely have been thinking ahead and to be honest I don't know much about maintaining. I plan on being not as strict but still to a certain amount, at the moment I eat around 1400 calories so to maintain I might up it to 1500/1600 and instead of exercising 6 days a week, reduce it to 3 or 4. I really don't know, I don't know anything about this. I'm hoping I can learn as I go along and like you if I slip up I plan on taking action straight away to get back on track. Once I get there, I refuse to be overweight again.

I'm really not liking this new layout!

Anyway, as of today I am 144 lb, 33 lb down 18 lb to go.

And 10lb away from a healthy bmi :hurray:
