My Journey....to change

Today was fine.
B:Honey Nut Cherrios with banana and 1% Milk.
L: guolash & apple

1 mile training run (11:35) +warm up and cool down and stretching
My friend then bought us after run treats: ice cream cookie sandwich =380 cals.

D: Turkey/Ham Sandwich.

Need some veggies but i'm just not hungry and my tummy hurts.

Yesterday was a a really bad day but i'm in a better mood today. Erk...i just realized that it's Tuesday and i go on a trip on friday. I need to start about Laundry and packing.Oops.
 
Busy few days.

Yesterday i did not eat well or enough. Felt rushed the whole day and i have yet to pack for my trip tomorrow.

Wednesday:
B:Slimfast (Yes i know bad but it works well when i'm in a hurry)
L: Normal Turkey/Ham sandwich
S: Apple w/ 2 oz of cheese
D: Turkey/Ham Sandwich


Long mountain bike ride that kicked my butt (my butt hurts so badly today) But it was awesome and i drank lots of water while riding. Almost took a huge crazy spill on single track way down but it was so worth it.

2 Olympia beers (haha best part of the day)

I just got in a couple hours ago. In time to get a 1.5 mile training run. I"ll do a real update tomorrow.

Basically it was a GREAT trip, but too much alcohol and when you crash at your cousin's bachelorpad you don't get lots of veggies or healthy food.
 
Well I'm struggling.

I think i hit a wall right before my trip. There has been basically no change even though i know i've upped my good calories and lessened my "bad" calories. Plus my activity level increased. but no change.

So since vacation it's been hard to get back into the swing of things since it didn't seem to matter anyways.

My activity level is still up very high. Including a 10 mile hike (lots of elevation) this past weekend and my 5k training runs. but my food intake has gone down hill. i find it pointless to shop since i'm going out of town again on the 2nd....

gotta focus. and stop going out with all these people in town for wedding season!!
 
Ah....just finished a 5k run. The course this morning sucked. thought it was going to be really flat but it turned out to be a lot of up hill and then a steep downhill. Felt good though cause i only walked for 4 minutes.

I also feel so much better, after a stranger two week i finally got my period. There was no reason for it to be later, i wasn't nervous but it was obvious that my whole system was out of wack. It's amazing how much better i feel now than three days ago.

I'm really hoping some weight to be gone tomorrow on weigh in day. I've been hovering at about 223-225 for the past 4 weeks.

My vegetable intake hasn't been that great this past 10 days but last night i had a great colorful salad that tasted amazing.

My legs are almost constantly a little sore so tomorrow rest day will be nice. I've also picked up my core strengthening in the mornings...should help with my running form.
 
When I got to my lowest weight ever I was working out 6 days a week and I enjoyed it a lot. It had become something I wanted to do. I knew most people at the gym and the classes i took were fun.... then we went on a two week vacation.. It was all over. When we got back I just couldn't get back into working out again. All that hard work gone.. I started gaining weight back.. and its been a fight ever since. Its so hard when you break a good routine.

You were having period trouble too huh? I'm not sure whats worse.. waiting 2 weeks for it to start or having it go for two weeks like its looking like mine is going to do lol.

good job with keeping the exercise up. I've been having a hard time with food lately too. Just gotta find that strong person somewhere inside and fight against those damn yummy foods.. :p
