My Journey to a Slimmer Me :) Start; August 23rd, 2011

so here are 2 pictures i took when i was at my lowest. I was depressed and only wore black stretchy pants. I hated how I looked and thank God i am not at this place anymore...I really feel like i've come a long way since these pics were taking, more emotionally then physically...but i am slimmer then these pics so i can't complain :) I also got on depression meds and mood stabilizers, which pretty much helped me SO SO SO much. I am not this person in the pictures anymore.

Eating at night is a huge downfall for me too! I get so hungry I can't sleep sometimes. My personal trainer said to keep 200 calories from my daily intake for a snack (like yogourt or cheese or something), but that just sets me off on a binge! So what I do is drink tea (the warmth soothes me) and hang in there. After about a week of fighting like crazy, I find the cravings subside.

Good luck!

^ the bigger ones of me were taken about a year and 3 months ago. I didn't REALLY try hard to lose weight, and I kept 'falling off the wagon'...which is why I haven't lost that much

getting my treadmill tomorrow! yayyyyy

ah poo...trying to do weight watchers never goes good for me...I guess it just makes me focus on food more then just eating in moderation...and in the end i just end up eating way more then my allowed 'points', even binging sometimes...where when i just write down what i eat, and not worry about calories but about the amount of food i put in i usually don't end up eating much at all. So back to my 'non diet, diet' :hurray:

Crap, I've been faltering slightly on my diet again :( I have been, for the last two days, eating basically whatever I want and not in total moderation...but today I am recommitting 100%....going to eat much more healthy as I am going food shopping today. I am also going to exercise everyday, with downtime every Sunday. Any words of encouragement would be appreciated :)

I think you look beautiful! I feel like we have similar body types so I am excited to keep following your progress. Youre an inspiration to me!

i'm also working out 40min a day on the treadmill and working my way up to an hour to 80mins a day...but baby steps ;)

overtherainbow~maybe i will =)

AJamie I think you should try to mix up your workout a bit. while doing 80 minutes on the treadmill is a great workout, but I think you will eventually get bored with it.

i'm weird about the treadmill...i really enjoy it. back when i had a treadmill 3trs ago i was on that thing all the time and didn't get bored. lol I also do weights too :)
