My dairy

I'm going to start the food log again.

Today I was 185.0. I was 183.0 yesterday. Last night late again I had some high sodium foods. Was seeming to crave alot of salt. Had pretzels and high sodium jerky. I'm guessing that's the culprit.

Today is day 4 of the gym. I'm working legs today. Then shoulders tomorrow. That will complete my 5 day cycle.

Going to gym to work out shoulders. This completes my 5 day cycle. Next 2 days off. Completed shoulder workout. Rode bike close to 10 miles for cardio.

188 today. Sorry for not keeping it updated. Probably no one reads it anyway, but I need to keep a record /diary of what I eat to get back on track. Lately my eating habits have not been good. I tend to snack quite a bit late at night and it screws me up. I found a cuban restaurant I like too, I'm sure it isn't low calorie. Anyway, hope to get back on track. Still going to the gym with weights. Been sporatic but trying to do more often. Went 3 days a week today. Plan to do legs today. On other weeks been going only 1x a week but on shoulders.

Found a new gym at my new place in Chandler. Same LA fitness. Ride bike is about 4-5 miles oneway. Takes me 30 minutes to ride there. 10 miles total probably. Good cardio, then I do weights. I really need to get back on track with my eating. Going to keep a log again.
 
Hi guys, LOOOOONG TIME no post! Seriously. Sorry about that. I doubt anyone even remembers me! Haha. Anyway, hope you guys all are doing well. I'm going to start logging again, because although I have lost another 11 lbs (and maybe gained muscle? I don't know) I need to see exactly how many calories I am eating. The sweets....get me. Salty foods/carbs too. I hope to make new friends here.

I'm about 177 now. Bodyfat last I knew was 16%, probably lower now. maybe 15%? Waist is now 37"'.

I've been gong to the gym as much as I can. Sometimes only once a week, but I Try to go. I moved since last time, to Chandler and I ride now my bicycle about 8-10 miles a day. 4.5 miles-5 miles one way, 4.5-5 miles back. Its a decent workout. Then I lift weights for an an hour to an hour and a half. I aim for 5 days a week but I like said I often I can only do it once a week ..

Recently my bicycle break pads have stopped working properly. The brakes seemed to have become stuck, I need to fix it. Makes it impossible to ride. So for now until its fixed I'm riding my moped to the gym and lifting weights only, I hate to do caridio at this gym, honestly I hate this gym (I like riding my bike). But at least I'll do something.

Btw, although I really have only lost another 11 lbs in what seems like forever...

I'm still trying my best to eat right. It's a life long journey. We can only do our best. I'm not done losing weight yet obviously, but just wanted to say I'm still going at it, and haven't gained any !

179.5 lbs. Going to take my bike into the shop...he said I gotta wait up to 3 days to have it repaired because hes so busy. Oh well. Its a good 1.5mi. bike ride there, and so i'll have to walk back. I'll ride my moped to the gym to do chest.

I kinda messed up today. Anytime I buy junk I can't control myself..should've learned by now.

Sigh. Everything was going well until my mom brought home chinese food....granted I ate it but I shouldn'tve ....I should've just eaten something else. I think chinese food is absolultely (americanized that is) the unhealthiest food you can eat, period. I probably ate a good 1000 + calories right there.

So basically, I took my bike in to the bike shop. Ride it there, 1.5 miles or so. Turns out it was fine, but I wanted a tune up anyway since I ride it awhile and it has been awhile since a tune up. I like to keep it in good working order since I paid a nice chunk of change for it. It'll be ready by thursday, he said he has other people ahead of him, only takes 40 mins to do the tune up, real busy lately he said.

So I walked home 1.5 miles or so, ran sometimes, walked the rest. I ate grilled yellowfin tuna at a japanese restaurant, and found out they do korean food too. They had my favorite bulgogi homemade but it was $15 (I don't think it comes with anything else either, since you have to make a reservation for kimchi and other side dishes, since they have to make it all from scratch. It's mostly a japanese restaurant but alot of the owners are korean.). $15 for good korean BBQ is pretty much the norm. It's expensive but damn its good. Fact is, after I tried this korean restaurant in phoenix, the pork bulgogi with all side dishes (daikon, spinache, rice, kimchi, rice, etc) was the best thing I ever had . My favorite...of all foods.

on the menu it also said "spicy pork" and "spicy beef" for the japanese menu. I'm wondering if that was the same thing..I asked but she said it was a mix. Hrm...hoping I can order the bulgogi in a smaller lunch portion for cheaper. Oh, then when I told her my love of korean food and talked to her in korean a bit, she was very happy and we talked for awhile. Then she gave me some pyrus (Prunce?), it's basically like a grainy pear, but I think it tasted like cantaloupe. I never had it before. It was wonderfull....she was going on about some treaty between korean and japan or something that it signified...

I got it for free too. What a nice lady. She then told me about another asian market that I didn't know about, Makarraels or something. But I looked everywhere for a good hour and couldn't find it. Too bad, I wanted to get some litchi and Lee Lee's is all out.

Ok, WTF, my bodyfat is now 17%. It used to be 16.2%...its gone up over 1% yet I've LOST weight....the last 2 weeks I haven't been lifting weights much...wonder if I lost some muscle mass or something...in only 2 weeks?

Well crap. I lifted with chest today, gonna go the next 4 days and try and stick with it more.
 
Just a little update. I did back today...(yesterday actually)

Since I'm not seeing much progress in fat loss/muscle development, I'm going to start a video diary of progress every 3 months. I'll keep you guys updated.

Little update guys. Changed my eating, stopped eating out (for the most part), reduced the sodium, and dropped alot of water. I'm 172.0 as of today.
 
Well done! I've found that cutting out the salt has made a huge difference to my weight loss.

Hi Jess, thanks for taking the time to respond! I think all my friends left here years ago :(

I did a 45 mile marathon on my bicycle yesterday. I've done 20 before, so this was definitely the longest. I'm 170.5 today
