My dairy

Went on the scale today, 223.5. I was 223 over a year ago when I first started at the gym, I know it's still heavy but its a milestorm for me because that's what I was when I first started the gym.

I'm around 223.5-225

Haven't eaten breakfast today, woke up REALLY late, 3 pm. I did do the stationary bike for an hour, and for breakfast (I Guess you could say late lunch) I'm having a lobster/crab cake with clam strips

Decided to take the day off today, air condition completely stopped working, its going to be 109 outside today with no A/C. We rent the house, so we gotta contact the landlord but he's usually no help.

Today I went to the bike shop (walked my bike there, about 1.5 miles one way)
to have my bike fixed. They put some slime goo in it as well as a tube, they said if it gets a thorn or something in it pull it out, and pump it up but make sure the valve stem is up, otherwise the goo will go everywhere. They said to keep it well inflated as well.

After that, I rode it home and did my day 2 week 2 of couch to 5k. It was alot harder today, I don't know why, but I bet the 100+ degree heat didn't help. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the last of the 6 set of running, I was just too exhausted this time. But I did 5 of them as well as a 5 minute warm up and cool down.

Had a pretty high calorie dinner I'm assuming...basically peanut butter covered chicken kabobs. I had 2, but they were sooo good and we don't make them often.
Basically grilled and marinated chicken breast (boneless), charboiled on the grill, and covered in a peanut sauce.
We also had white rice with it, and I had a salad with 10 calorie spray.
We'll say 750 for the kabobs, 150 for the rice and 40 for the salad


I measured my waist again today...I'm around exactly 45 inches, a little less. That's 3 inches lost!
Half an inch lost from last check in..

Total for today: 2145

Ouch, that's the highest i've ever gone. I'm probably being pretty liberal on the calories though...I'll do better tomorrow.

Wow. Congrats on the inches lost! That's really awesome.

I love (loooooooove) the peanut sauce chicken skewers. When I was a kid we lived in Singapore and having sate with peanut sauce was one of my favorite things ever. I am still trying to recreate the recipe I remember from my childhood.

I've been around .. just dealing with a bunch of personal crap. I go to court on the 25th to deal with one part of the past 2 years worth of stress and I'm a little on edge about it. :) I know I'll win ... but just the fact of going to court is scary.

Anyway ... I'm around and I'll try to post more! :)
 
Well I woke up at 4:50 today, I can't believe I actually did it that early, but I did.

This time I slowed my pace down to a slow jog, it helped alot. I didn't run full force, so it was alot easier today! I could've even done more...although my ankles are a bit sore, but no shin splints! Did the 2nd (3rd?) day of couch to 5k today, second week.

223.5 today again (few weeks ago I hit this magic number but it went back up and down for awhile, this time I think it's here to stay)

Did 30 minutes of the wii strength training, an hour on stationary bike. Got my moped battery in the mail today, and my wii wrist remote strap yesterday, tested out the new tricep extensions...

So, today was an interesting day. I am so tired right now, and tomorrow is a big day have to wake up at 4:50 am and go running as well 30 minutes of strength training on the wii fit. We went shopping today, and for dinner I ate a rather heathy, yet disgusting meal at a place that has generally really nasty bad for you food. Long John silvers, yep, home of the fried fish. They are making a change around though, they have these new smart platters. You get vegetable meldy, rice, and 2 pieces of salmon in some weird sauce for about $5.99. To put it lightly, it wasn't good. The salmon was probably frozen and re heated, as it had a mushy texture and was too soft. There was one vegetable oddly enough, I didn't recognize. It was white, but circular like a carrot piece. I thought it was a potato piece of first, but I think it was a carrot (Yeah I know, that was white !)

After the meal, oddly enough I wasn't satisfied, I was still starving feeling. So we went grocery shopping, and what happens when you shop when you're hungry? Bad things happen. We bought some cheetos (which I will eat in moderation hopefully), some healthy lean gourmet pizza snacks (Well relatively healthy), 60% cocoa dark chocolate covered nuts and fruit (good for a sweet craving), and we almost bought some Oh Boy Oberto hickory smoked beef jerky, (I love jerky!) and this stuff was good, even though I don't usually like Oberto's brand because it is too tough, but this one was good. It was 5.99 for it, I had a dollar off coupon but I ended up just buying world kitchens, its almost just as good and a whole pound of jerky, only 80 calories 12 grams of protein 1 gram of fat, can't beat that!

Then we went to CBS pharmacy, I was watching unwrapped on food network and saw how they made those sky bars, you remember those? The ones with chocolate and different flavors, vanilla, caramel, and fudge. It was 200 calories and a bit of a splurge but I had to try it..it was pretty good.

Oh, but wait, there's more! We went driving probably 40 minutes looking for a place to eat all over town. My dad wanted a hamburger, eventually we found this place called "5 diner" which was like a blast in the past 50's style. All of their hamburgers were $9-9.83$! Yes, just for the hamburger. Crazy prices...so we ended up just getting 2 cokes (which were 2.50 each), and a chili cheese fry for 6 bucks. We ended up spending 10 bucks on just that...we splitted the chili fries 3 ways...it was good but man I feel bad eating it. I don't know how many calories it had in the small portion I had, it had beans, cheese, some tomato junks and fries. I'm guessing around 260 cal.

That's basically it....my parents didn't eat very well today and my dad was hungry..and I'm still hungry. Time to go to bed...I'll keep ya'll updated as always.

So I got up today at 4:50...didn't want to go running so I decided (regrettably) to take today off excerising...my legs hurt anyway I put ice on them yesterday going to put some more ice on them today...

Good news, I've lost 19 lbs total. I Think when I started I was 241, so that's 19. But if I wasn't 241 I know I was 240, so that's 18. I've reached my deadline according to my Wii Fit of 15 lbs in 8 weeks, but I did it in a little over a month. I'm 222 on the scale today, on both scales. I'm going to post a progress pic at 20 lbs loss..

I posted progress pics too on the other forum section here..check them out. I'm pretty disappointed as I don't really notice any big difference between 20 lbs loss...people have told me my face looks thinner etc but I just don't believe it.

As a side note, where have you been? You had me worried...I'm glad your ok. Please continue ....and post in your dairy I an anxious to see what happened ...everyone has their bad days just keep going is all that matters.
 
Well, my mom had surgery today. Gastro-intestinal...long story.

It hurts me just to walk, my ankles ache with pain. Even though I could do something like the bicycle for low impact, I'm going to take 2 days off. I'm still going to eat right of course, or do my best,but I feel I need 2 days off to ice down my legs. I guess I'm just lazy, whats wrong with me?

Today we waited at the surgery center for a few hours...I bought a thai wrap, thank god they have nutrition on it. It has carrots, wontons, thai sauce and other stuff. I'm going to have horrible water retention tomorrow because it has over 2000 mg of sodium, yes, that's bad. My weigh in today was higher , by about 2.5 lbs. Disappointing..for dinner my mom wanted papa johns, so we got pepperoni, sauage, mushrooms and a few other items on it. I only ate 2, but I still feel bad. They wanted a 'dirty' pizza i tried to order a veggie but I wanted to make us all happy.

I didn't eat lunch.
