My dairy

Ya, chinese has tons of sodium. When I eat it, I usually bank on having a gain the next day, so you kinda lucked out that you just stayed the same.

So mom came home today...brought me a salad for dinner, yay! It has some cheese in it, ham, dressing (that is not low fat but still ok, buttermilk ranch), and lean ham and turkey. Serving size is 110 cal per serving, whole thing is 4.5 serv. I had half, so about 300 cal to put it liberally.

She also brought home her favorite snack, Rol Golds salted pretzels...I love these things, a low fat snack, somewhat healthy and only 100 cal for 48 sticks, so I had 1 serving of those.

I'm going to have to update my weight ticker, I haven't lost 13 lbs yet, my weight still hasn't gone back down to 227 for some reason. So 11 lbs...I tried weighing myself on my scale at home but the battery was low and then dead. So I used my wii scale, and it said I was 229 on the nail. Oh well..at least that's .5 lb from yesterday.

I'm still on my couch to 5k program week one, I don't feel ready for week 2 yet. What I do is ride my bicycle on some days for 30 minutes, do the first week of couch to 5k on the day after (30 mins), and do the bike for an hour (stationary) the next day. I like to alternate it. Today was running day. I set my alarm for 4:51 but didn't get up until 8 am. I managed to go running anyway. I gotta say, my ankles HURT. No more shin splints, the whole ankle hurts.

I'll keep ya'll updated as always with the menus..

Breakfast:
Half salad with dressing (light on the dressing), some ham in it too
(250)
Blueberries, 1 serving. (81)
Total for breakfast: 331

omgosh, why do you set your alarm clock so early? Its like, torture! Lol!

Well 2 reasons really. The first is, in arizona, in summer, early morning is the only time its cool! That's when I ride my bike a couple miles or run. The heat right now is 85 at 8-9 am! It gets to around 108 at the peak of the day now. At least it's not 115 anymore...

The second reason is I have to get up for work and get ready, today I finished my last day of my 80 hour internship, (which was unpaid by the way), so now I have to find a job and I can start getting paid for it. Yay! Big milestone here, it was computer and clerical training.

For lunch I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (2 servings of jelly, raspberry 80 cal, 1/2 serving of peanut butter, cal 100, 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 110 per slice), a piece of cheese (3/4 oz, full fat, 90 cal)

For dinner I had yoshi's crunch roll. it has imitation crab meat, avocado, some tempra shrimp bits in it, rice, nori, etc.

I could've eaten it all but I left 3-4 pieces. I'm guessing it was around 400 cal.

Hi Spark!! Just thought I'd pop in to see how you're doing!

It looks like you're doing pretty good :D The extra pounds are probably just water. It seems like you eat a lot of salty things so dont overly stress about it! Inches are what count :D And you're building muscle too!

You're so optimistic I know you can do it! Just stick to it, your mom's being great helping and being supportive. You can do this :D

what games? what games?

Mostly handheld games for the PSP and DS. I'm trying to get some good PSP games, god of war: chains of Olympus for the PSP Is really good, but short. I want to beat it 100%. I wanted it when it came out in '08, it was 40 bucks then, but I waited a year and now it's 19 bucks. What a deal, can't wait to buy it, walmart has 3 available (my local one). Don't have the money right now because of the bike purchase, but will buy it on the first of the month next month.

Had a bad day today, went to bed at midnight, couldn't sleep. Tried to wake up at 4:51 to go running and then strength training, but was too tired. I think I'll take today off, and sleep in tomorrow and do the stationary bike tomorrow for an hour and the strength training.
