My Body Fat

Well I had my husband take my body fat this morning after not eating/ drinking for 10 hrs (when I woke up this morning).:rolleyes:

I'm 5'5'', 121 lbs, 25 yrs old, good muscle tone (always want more), weight training 4-5 days a week and running 5 days a week.

We did the 7 site. I insisted that he pinch all there was to pinch on me til it hurt..We tested each site 3 times to make sure we have correct amount on each site.:)

Anyway, did the formula and it came back and said i had 16.4% body fat.. Is that good for a female,, what should my goal be? And what is too low for a female?

The average body fat percentage for U.S. females is around 32%, with the ideal at 22%. Athletic females should be around 15-20%. You could have an eating disorder if you are below 10%. Remember these are guidelines; your physician should help you determine the ideal weight and body fat for you.

From the little I know that is GREAT! Where did you get the calipers to test at home? I have been looking for some myself because I think the tape measure/online calculators are off for me. Anyway...GOOD JOB!!

Not if you're dehydrated. All your doing is lying to youself. Just eat and drink normally.
