Thanks Jess! I have to work out during lunch. When I get home from work its husband, kids, and whatever else that may come along but it's hard to do anything for myself after work hours.
So I didn't get on the scale this morning because I said I was going to weigh myself tomorrow instead of today but something else great happened this morning. I have been wearing a size 14 now since I had my last baby. I could fit in some of my size 12 clothes but not many and usually not comfortably. Well this morning I woke up a little later than usually and start on my search for what I would wear. Well at that time I remember that I hadn’t did laundry for my husband and I yet. I had only done the kids laundry this week. Well Friday is casual day at my job so I usually wear jeans every Friday. Well all my jeans were dirty........ All my 14s any way. So I go to the closet and pull out my other jeans. My 12s and my 10s. I pull out a brand new pair of size 12 jeans and said to myself “now you know you can’t wear those yet, don't even try it." Well I tried them any way and guess what, THEY FIT PERFECT!!!!!!:hurray: Not even to tight. I work at my local board of education so I can't wear my clothes to tight or form fitting. I am so happy! I needed this little victory to keep me motivated. My birthday is Monday 12/14 and my original goal was to be down to 185. Now I know that's not going to happen so being down one size already really helps me to not feel so bad about the other goal.
Now my meal plan for today
B-Yogurt and banana (160c)
S-Pretzels (60c)
L-Lean Cuisine (320c) Fresh fruit cup (80)
S-Turkey sandwich on smart bread (150)
D-Chili (320)
I plan on drinking 4x16oz bottles of water during work and 2-3 at home.
I would like to work out for 40 min at lunch but I have to pay some bills so probably won’t be able to get in more than 30min.
 
Thats such great news! :party:You must be looking hot in those jeans! I'm so excited for you, your workouts and healthy meals are paying off! Keep up the good work you are doing so great so far. You must be on cloud nine right now. I hope your weigh in goes well.
 
Awesome work!! Keep it up! before you know it you will be wearing the 10's!!! Mind over matter and determination - you can totally do this!!

Guess What??? It's my Birthday, It's my Birthday!!!! I feel great today even thought the weather is terrible outside. My weekend went ok. I really cant complain. I didn't exercise but I didn't go over my calorie limit either. This is my plan for today:
B-nothing (Late for work)
S-popcorn
L-Turkey sandwich 180c real fruit cup 70c
S-yogurt
D-I am really trying to keep my calories low for the earlier portion ofmy day b/c I don't know if my husband will take me out to eat for dinner, if so I will still eat sensible.
I plan to work out 40min during lunch.
My holiday break is creaping up and I will be off work for 2 weeks. Well of course I am ready to be off work but will it be like the weekends when I can't motivate my self to work out? Well I guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I will figure some thing out. Well I'm off to check out dairies. I hope every one has a super awsome day!
 
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you got a nice dinner out with your man. Good work staying within your calories all weekend - that is really tuff for me. Keep it up!
 
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. They say 30 is the new 20. I'm not convinced but I know I don't feel 1 day older than 25!
 
My husband didn't take me out to dinner last night so I had spaghetti (275c) and a salad (100c) for dinner. My son gave me a cookie(60) for a birthday gift so of course I had to eat it. But I am sure I still didnt go over my calorie count. My food plan for today is:
B-Yogurt (60c) granola (40)
bottle of water (1liter)
L-lean cuisine (320) 1/2 Grapefruit (50)
bottle of water
S-popcorn, maybe yogurt (100c each)
Lean meat and salad
I may add a turkey sandwich in after work if I get hungry.
I will work out for 40 mins during lunch on my glider. I am ready for my workout today. I wish I could leave work, I would go workout now. I am hppy that I enjoy working out again. I have been waiting on this feeling to return.
 
I hate that the computer is messed up on my glider b/c I no longer know how fast I am going or how many calories I am burning. But I am sure I had a great work out. I tried my best to make sure I kept a fast tempo the whole time I worked out. I can really tell the difference. My muscles are really achy today. I also have this new exercise I'm going to do in my office a couple of times a day. I'm not sure of the name but I know they will help my triceps.
 
Those exercises are called chair dips.
Bend elbows 90 degrees, lowering yourself toward the floor and keeping elbows below your shoulders.
Straighten arms to raise body back up.
Do 8 to 10 reps.
Fitnessmagazine.com says if I do this every day for a week I will be able to see a difference so I'm trying it.
 
Last night went great. When I got home from work I started on my household chores. Soon after, I stared dinner. While doing dinner I did exercises with my hand weights. I ate dinner with my family. Helped my kids with there home work. Played with my baby girl. Then I read my book until my husband came to bed. I didn't go over my calorie count and I did everything as planed. I am proud of my self :hurray:. SO let's get today rolllling...........I have had breakfast already
B-6 Spoons of grits (I was full after that couldn't eat any more) I think that's about 40c b/c my serving is 120c and I didnt even eat half.
4oz of decf coffee 60c
S-yogurt
1 liter of water (33oz)
L-Lean Cuisine (320c)
S-yogurt(80), sugar free jello(20)
D- Lean Meat Veggie Salad (380)
I will workout 40min on my glider during lunch and do ab and arm exercises tonight while watching TV.

Well, I didn't work out during lunch. I dont remember if I mention that I helped another assistant set up for a luncheon this morning. Well come to find out I was invited to this luncheon. it was the Principal's luncheon. I tried my best to get out of it. I really didn't want to go. I knew I would be so uncomfortable. Well I couldn't get out of it. I tried to be as smart as I could with the food. I still ended up eating about 600calories. I am not that mad with my self I just really have to push my self to exercise tonight. This is always really a challenge for me. When I get home in the afternoon making time for myself seems almost impossible. So now I am sitting at about 700calories for today and I need to do everything I can to make sure I don't go over. I feel all bloated. I cant wait to exercise and work some of this off!

Thanks Harriet! It's not always easy but I know I'm doing the right thing for my family and myself. I want to loss weight for life not for a year or a couple of months and my Dr. said this is how you do that. (one pound at a time) So even though it's frustrating and some times a little more difficult I have to keep in mind that Rome wasn't built in a day! I have loss weight other ways before. I have danced and been a cheerleader all my life so believe me I know how to drop ten pounds in a day or 2 if i want to. I am rolling with the punches. If I have a bad day I just try to make the next day that much better. I want to be healthy inside and out. I am a very optimistic person. I hate negativity, it's unnecessary. After having my 3rd baby, I had to learn how to love my self again. I had a condition during my pregnancy that made me gain a whole lot of weight (47lbs) in a very short period of time (10days) and that was on top of my regular pregnancy weight. So after delivering this beautiful baby girl I could recognize my self in the mirror. I took two weeks for me to loss about 40lbs of fluid but that still left me about 40lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. To make a long story short I realized I couldn't make the people happy around me happy if I didn't make myself happy first and I knew lossing weight was a part of that. I also knew that this wasn't going to be easy because I couldn't take any extra medication because of my current condition. So I researched for months and months and I talked to all my Drs and I talked to my family about how impotant this was to me and here I am :seeya:. I am excited about seeing my body transform. Now I may not get my old body back and I am fine with that. I am ready to see what my new body will look like. Now my goal is around 140-150 my husband would rather 150-160 (likes curves) but i'm tall (5'8) and I carry my weight very well (I'm very proportioned) so I will see but i know it will be under 150. Sorry I wrote so much Harriet, I just had to remind my self of a couple of things also.
 
Guess what I did last night?????? I worked out!!!! Yes maam/sir...... for a hour and 30min. I am sooooo proud of my self. After I got the kids in bed I put my glider in my bedroom and I worked out until my husband said "are you going to be on that thing all night?" then I jumped off, not able to feel my legs, and took a shower and finished the last chapter of Eclipse and went to sleep. I'm not going to be able to work out during lunch during the next couple of days so I plan on doing it at night. I have a Christmas party everyday from tomorrow until Sunday so I am going to try my best to watch what I eat. Here's my plan for today:
B-nothing (sorry only had time to grad a liter of water)
L- Turket sandwich cup real fruit (280c)
S-Yogurt, popcorn (180)
D- Lean meat, salad (400-500c)
I plan to work out for a hour tonight on my glider. I really want to see I 185 by Christmas and I believe I can do it!!!!!!
