Today was an excellent day. I found some energy from somewhere and took over 24 thousand steps. And according to my pedometer, that means I burned off over 1250 calories. Yay!

Today's food:
protein shake
chicken and cheese on toast
chicken adobo, with mashed potato and cabbage

1300 calories, 55 carbs
 
A good day eating wise. Not so good otherwise, with a touch more pain than usual. But I've still taken over 17 thousand steps, so not too bad.

Today's food:
2 protein shakes
leftover chicken adobo, cabbage and baby squash

1200 calories, 21 carbs
 
The pain was a bit of a nuisance last night, leaving me rather short of energy today. But I have managed 11 thousand steps already, and I should be able to get in another couple of thousand before bed.

Today's food:
cheese on toast
steak with green salad
tuna patties, hash brown and mushrooms

1300 cals, 35 carbs
 
Good job on the walking......you know I have a pedometer I think I carry it arround in my purse I think I will steal this idea from you and actually wear it starting today!!!!! I know what you mean about feeling sluggish it's cold dark and wet over here and my head refused to wake up, thank god for buses or I would have landed in a ditch on the drive to work lol!!!! It's only 8:38 am and I am already saying good afternoon on the phone!
 
Stupid pain is back, but I'm happy to record that I haven't weakened foodwise.

beef and vegie (zucchini and tomato) stew
grilled chicken with salad
pork chop with cream gravy, bok choy

1450 cals, 10 carbs
 
Still not what you could call comfortable, but am trying to get as many steps in as I can. I'm going to struggle to hit 10 thousand, but I'll be close.

I did well calorie wise today, but had too many carbs. I weakened and had hot chips, mainly because I was feeling so rubbish. Not much of an excuse really.

Today's food:
protein shake
cheese and salmon on toast
same as last week: pub meal: chicken schnitzel, salad and chips

1400 cals, 74 carbs
 
Still feeling pretty rubbish, but a little better than yesterday. Barely 5000 steps yesterday. Spent most of the day resting.

Yesterday's food:
protein shake
cheese and salmon on toast
steak and salad

Didn't track the numbers, but I know they were decent.

Ate too much today. Too many calories and far too many carbs. I didn't track them because I really do not want to know!

Once again, for the umpty-third time, I fell off the wagon. But today is Monday, so I decided to have another go. For the umpty-fourth time.

Today's food:
cup of tea, with milk and Splenda
grilled chicken, potato salad
grilled salmon, avocado and mushroom salad

1200 cals, 18 carbs

Today's exercise:
20,122 steps, which should have (according to my pedometer) burned about 1100 cals.
 
Don't worry about it, we all have those days. Weekends are especially hard. The key is to give yourself a shake and get back to it, which you are already doing.

20,000 steps? That's insane! I stand in awe of you. I have no idea how many steps I get a day, but since I have an office job, I bet it's about 1/4 of that tops.

I had another good day today. Wow, two good days in a row! But I can only take this one day at a time. Too much planning and I always seem to come unstuck. So at this stage, I'm happy I stuck to plan today, and plan to stick to it again tomorrow.

Today's food:
cup of tea, with milk and Splenda
protein shake
chicken and cheese on toast
beef and vegie stir fry

1205 cals, 29 carbs

Today's exercise:
Just over 22,000 steps (woohoo!), which means I have burned 1200 cals.
I had planned for a workout with weights today, but figured I was better off - for now - sticking with the walking. As long as it burns the calories!

It has been over a year since I visted here. <hangs head in shame> And in that year, I have fallen off the wagon pretty comprehensively. My weight went over 100 kgs. Urk. But I am now back at it. I've been on the wagon for a couple of weeks, but I know I do best if I can record my doings somewhere, and here is perfect!

tuna & feta cheese w/ ranch dressing
1 slice Sara Lee naughtiness (I'm almost back on that wagon)

Yesterday was a pretty good day, although I don't want to keep my calories that low too often. I was really tired, having had only 5 hours sleep, so not so many steps. I'm feeling a lot more chipper today though, so am hoping for a more productive number of steps.

lol I would recommend you do not go there since you are feeling chippy lol I am de-motivational these days...I think i should stop posting about myself!!

Glad to see you are doing so well and I am totally thrilled that you are back.
