MoonGoddess's Path

Know what I wanna know.... why the put TWO Pop Tarts in a packet.. four packets in a box I get, but why TWO when they know & suggest (according to their serving size) only eating one? Don't they realize that us non-morning people are not likely to be all making friends first thing in the morning & sharing our food. Strange...

those pop tart people are just mean... so you put the second one away til the next day and it gets all stale because the packet it comes in isn't really resealable -

I think it's a conspiracy against single people .. dammit where's my lawyer i need to sue :D Pop tarts are keeping me fat... :D

& since we are single, we don't have to share it! ;)

ah.. I could spend all morning dreaming of ways to spend it. How about a personal portion controller.. someone to repack those pop tarts as soon as they get home & keep them fresh... ok or just a new weight machine & a hot tub.. oh & a new hammock...

i'm all over the hammock and hot tub :)

I really am too lazy for m y own good :)

OK a new pair of sneakers since I seem to be going thru a pair every 45 days :D

Ah yes.. new shoes... good call! A nice pair in different colors to match any outfit. Ok if I'm going to get all silly .. new outfits. Cuz mainly I work out in the same ole stuff & its not that impressive. Recently tried to switch from yoga pants to shorts for my walking.. OUCH. My thighs have not reduced enough not to rub together & spark up a fire.... I'm sticking with something that covers more for a while.

Hey you silly girl - :):):)If I ran into money I dont even know what i would do - I make so little and am raising the girls and we need so much - LOL...

Anyway I need to drop by more sorry for not :):):)

Howdy Moon,
I have the thigh rubbing problem to still,I am beginning to
think my tummy and thighs is where the xtra 30 lbs that I am carrying lol.
I need new sneakers to but afraid I won't get so lucky as I did when I bought these 7 months ago they are black with the pink NIKE symbol and I got no break in blisters and they actually make you feel like your bouncing when you walk I got them 1/2 off for $35. They also can match anything as well.
I wish ya luck in the shoe shopping, look at your ticker just melting away, keep kicking butt and thank you for helping me through the slump "TOM" has put me in,Tammy

I was in target abouta week or so ago and got a really cute (cute and my wardrobe just don't compute) "workout" skirt that have the bike shorts underneath it -I'm about 10 lbsish away from having it wearable in public that is if I don't mind showing off my pasty white and blobbishg and gross calves and knees - but the skirt goes about 2 inches or so above the knee and the shorts underneath protect the thigh area.. :) check 'em out... :D you can look sassy while wokring out.. (though me buying one puts it into the hopelessly uncool section :D

Those shorts sound great. I just got back from looking for clothes. Its too hot for jeans now & my shorts from last year got purged to the point of I have none that I can wear to work (length is an issue & I need to look slightly respectable in case I have to ream someone for something stupid...yelling in something goofy just doesn't have the same impact...& lord help if someone is yelling & ask to speak to the manager & I end up having to deal with it & am looking like a 13 year old dressed me for camp). Anyway I went to try on capris & tried the size I thought I was in.. (actually am in according to the clothes I currently own, some of which are also a smaller size) --course now in the store I'm in the next size up! WTF? Did they change the size again or someone mislabeled the last stuff I got. Plus I'M LOSING weight, shouldn't that mean I would be in the smaller size or at least the SAME size. How frustrating. I got pissed & whiney & just got two pairs of capris & a guys button up shirt I can make look nice. I hate that I can go into a place feeling ok (the scale went down a lil today...& I had a great day at work..even got yelled at while driving with the top down by a couple of guys driving around) but I spend 10 minutes trying on clothes & all that confidence goes to crap & I want to run to the bathroom & hide or straight to my car to go home.

grrr.

I can be proud that instead of drowning my anger/disappointment in myself in a beer & some fast food or pizza, I opted for water & some strawberries & blueberries & some veggies with turkey for dinner. I know all the hard work will pay off sooner or later, but dang I'm ready for it to be sooner....

well i'm proud of you for making a great choice of NOT solving your anger with food. because that would only make you feel worse in the end.
i know exactly how you feel. in croatia the sizes have changed so much its unbelievable. and they're seem to be changing all the time. the only store i can buy clothes is dorothy perkins or marks and spencer. all others are either too expensive or just don't have numbers. there someone who is size 10 (english size) is xxxl. what's up with that? no wonder young girls think they're fat and end up anorexic.
don't feel bad. because you know you're doing everything right. and you ARE losing weight and inches. maybe they just cut this line of clothes differently, or mixed up the labels.
you just keep doing what you're doing. because you're doing awesome.
hugs,
Lena

Morning,

Sorry about your clothes outing. Seems it takes so long to get into a smaller size. Also depending on the shop the clothes do not seem to be sized right. A person's normal size might be too small, I need some too but have put off going out to the store.

Good going on handling the anger issue. That was a good choice.
Have a good day.
Deb

This is going to sound very lame, but who really cares about the sizes. The different manufacturers have their own scale anyway.. If you want feed back on how you're losing weight&inches, you just try your own old clothes and see the difference in how they fit. Or don't fit.. ;)
I just went through my whole wardrobe in search of what I can wear this summer. Found fitting clothes in EU sizes 36-48 (so 7 different sizes).. Cannot but laugh at that. :rotflmao:

I think that I have decided to cut out every tag on the clothes that I buy from here on out so its not such a mental middle finger in my face. Not sure why it bothers me so much anyway. I know that designers don't consistently do the same size the same way & I should just look for something that flatters & fits rather than fitting what I feel I should be.

i know size doesnt matter - and it's the fit that counts and every designer does indeed size differently -but - when you're busting your behind to get into a smaller size than you were last year -and the sizes don't cooperate it's frustrating... but yeah cut out those size tags -just leave the washing instructions :D

Your right MoonGoddess. It's the fit that is important, not the size. I say that but, I myself tend to get hung up on sizes too. I thought I'd stop by your diary to say Hi, and see how you were doing.

Oh girl I hear ya - I feel good abt myself till Isee my reflection - bottom line is I am fat and still fat...clothes depress me...especially with how small clothes are being made now a days....I need to wear a 2x or 3x and I am not that big - Walmart sizes - it sucks...Im glad you handled it by eating well instead of bad :):):)

Eek! I know what you mean MoonGoddess, I would get particularly irritated with salespeople comments such as "we have nothing in your size" or more annoying it seemed, look up, look down, "the big section is over there". I like to appease myself by boycotting those stores now. I wonder if it's a woman thing too, the size thing... Do guys get irritated like we do? mhh... Hope you are doing something to make you smile...!

(Mal: I bought shortbread... I succumbed... :naughty: )
