I feel like I earned a few more days... but then again do we ever get what we really need vacation wise? lol

So here is the NEW dress choice... not too bad & I can still wear a bra, which will feel good & I think look nicer than if we were all just hanging loose.
 
that's pretty and looks very slenderizing too - nice choice... the last one was pretty -but i like the simpler lines of this one better
 
seems a lot more flattering which I was surprised by. & its two pieces so I can go crazy & wear the top out with a pair of jeans & some heels! ok maybe not, but I teased her & said that we were all going to do that at the bachlorette party!

I have been known to throw a few myself... but mums the word on those..whatever happened is in the lockbox.

I can't wait! We are renting a partybus, so NO ONE has to drive, or stop drinking for that matter.

Not sure when the fittings will be. We just decided on this one. Doesn't end arrive for 6 to 8 weeks in the store so I figure I have time. Especially since we got an inside tip that it is going on sale late April, so that's when we are placing the order.

I'm planning on altering it. Thats my plan... lose weight & have to have it shrunk down some.

THOSE SIZES were killing us! I can't believe it. It was like they wanted to make us all feel bigger than we were so they jacked up the sizes, or down or whatever. None of us ended up in the sizes of regular clothes we wear. ALL needed larger ones several sizes upward. Stupid. Looks like they would just use standard sizing or a whole new system like with letters or something. Kills the ego.

It's all about making the bride feel good about herself :) if she can't dress you in an ugly poofy taffeta dress in seafoam green with a butt bow and 4 layers of criniline with dyed to match shoes (YES< I wore such an ensemble even had a hat and gloves in seafoam ) then by golly she can put you in a size 2x as big as you would normally wear :)
 
Even my sister was shocked by the bridal dress sizes...

& we threatend not to walk if she even tried to put us in anything that could be described as "pouffy" or in some strange shade we don't even come close to looking human in... like persimmon, canary or chartruese. & thats another whole issue.. who decides on the names for these... some trust fund baby named Buffy or Babes bored with their trophy wife lives?
 
I think the worst I ever had to wear was carrying a parasol... I swear up until the moment i had to walk down the aisle - I thought she was kidding... she wasn't.. and the bride didn't think it was a good idea to tap dance up the aisle and do a gene kely style singing in te rain - hey give me an umbrella and it becomes a prop - She was less amused when we had sword fights at the reception with them :D
 
lol... I thought my best friend was the only parasol nut! She wanted us to walk through the dunes at the beach with these chinese parasols. Unfortunately (or fortunate in that we couldn't carry them) there was a hurricane approaching on her wedding day, which made for some pretty wild pictures with all the hair & dresses blowing in the wind. She got married on the beach & if we had waited a few more hours it would have been impossible.
I told her it was just because she was such a wild child.

So today isn't going so great, well because yesterday just flat out sucked.

The B|I|T|C|H came back to the store last night & NO ONE did anything. They dragged their asses around with excuses about we needed to show her a policy (which why it wasn't written last week was beyond me!) because the lawyer suggested we do it that way. So they let her shop.. so I stormed out PISSED. She was sugary sweet to everyone. Supposidly they will ban her next time, since I blew up they are working overtime on getting it all legal. ...stupid, its easy you call the cops, you make a no trepass statement & then if they dare come back they are arrested. Simple. Its private property. For whatever reason they feel the need to complicate this because they are too whimpy to deal with it. Well that is normally my job, but I'm taking a back seat this time...not trying to be shot. Ug
so after I left I went by Best Buy to speak to the Geeks about the laptop. He takes out the battery & plugs it in... it starts right up! Oh...so bad battery & they don't sell them. Cool. No prob...get home plug it in without the battery like he did... NOTHING happens...tried three outlets... still nothing. the laptop hates me. I want to slam it into the street.

Ended up saying screw the diet & exercise & made homemade biscuits, steak, mac& cheese & black eyed peas...gorged. then I watched the Holiday & drank a half bottle of Shiraz. Just so sick of all the BS.

I'm going to do better today. So far I'm still fuming at work over the situation & that I had NO support. I feel shaky & just want to go home go to bed & watch another movie & check email, shop, etc....but the battery doesn't arrive til tomorrow earliest & who knows if that will even help.

I'm so frustrated. I wish I had time to exercise in the mornings or midday.... I know when I get home I will be tired & ready to just relax. I kinda already am.

Hope today improves for you.. and you're right self sabatoge sucks - we need better ways to pamper ourselves after crappy days than turning to food :) i think walkin around and smacking the crap out of people is good idea :)

I'm so close to the slapping people around approach! Argh.

& the Shiraz was awesome... actually thought to my self while drinking it, maybe I should have skipped the dinnerfest & just headed straight to this!

Silly I know. Adding the alcohol addiction to the mix wouldn't be a step in the right direction, but kicking the food habit, going cold turkey on being online at home with the added stress of psychos at work made it look very attractive! :)
 
I hope that your day turned out better for you...I'm sorry to hear about all troubles at work! Tomorrow's a new day right?! I'll keep ya in my thoughts, and hope that you have a better day tomorrow...
