I know, I know. I'll have my daughter take some over the weekend..tell you guys what, I will try to put some up in the next two weeks. How you do that though? She can take them on her cell phone (I don't have a digital camera)?
 
yeah take them on the cell then send it to your email where you can plop it in a photobucket. After that you just can cut and paste the URL.

go to "photobucket.com" and you can download pics for free. if you send your picture to your email (you migh need someone's help with that) then you can download your pic into your photobucket acct. From there it'll give you a "url" (just a string of jibberish that distinguishes your picture). if you cut and paste (you know how to do that!) the url into a reply box then we can click on it and see the pic.
 
LOL...ok, well, like I said, I'll start by having my teenager take the picture and e-mail it to my yahoo, then I'll go from there :p

I'm the most un-savvy person when it comes to computers. I work on one all day long but when it comes to using it for fun this is as far as I go (posting on this forum)...what can I say I'm a sad little creature:p
 
Hey guys! I just came back from a fun but HORRIBLE weekend! Horrible as far as my diet and exercise go. I drank a lot (of alcohol), ate very little (twice a day-though when I did I had chicken, veggies and my favorite salmon hand rolls at one of THE best sushi places I've ever been to!) I even had McDonalds once! LOL

It's alright though, it was supposed to be a "Let it go" kind of weekend. But I'm back on track today...I've only had two meals though :( I need to go grocery shopping after work...

I have a seminar tomorrow and won't be able to eat a whole lot either. Any suggestions on what I can bring and keep in my purse? I thought about making some protein bars tonight (at least). Of course I can do breakfast at home before I leave and have a sensible lunch...

Sounds good to me. Don't forget maybe some pretzels, peanuts, etc...
 
Hey Sadie, the seminar was great! It was a woman's workshop. It was very interesting.

It gave us tools to use to become better communicators. Some of of the topics were based around stuff like not letting your emotions take control (in the workplace) and dealing with difficult people (in and out of the workplace).

I took some of my homemade protein bars and fruit. For lunch I had a chicken sandwich so all in all not a bad day. I could have eaten more but that's the story of my life lol Hope all is well with you :)
 
LOL, no she that was just my lunch-the sandwich came with a salad and red potatos. I snacked on protein bars and fresh fruits. I had breakfast at home and then I went home and ate before and after the gym.

I'd pass out with just a chicken sandwich all day!:p

Glad it was fun,sounds like i could go to that seminar too..infact i need to learn things like controling my emotions, in genral though,and how to deal with difficult ppl.hehe
 
I'm so exited! One of the girls here at work is getting married next year and wants to lose weight and she asked for myadvise!

I went over all the things I've learned and she now brings her food in and we make our meals together! It's so much easier when someone is there pushing you to do the same thing. We'll be able to feed off eachotherLOL (no pun intended).

I'm also changing my routine a bit, hopefully that will have an inpact on my progress!!:)

But seriously, it does feel good when people recognize that you're making progress - keep up the good work, and the same goes to your protege.
 
OK, I had a really bad night last night!! I don't know what's wrong with me. My friend asked to go shopping with her for her 30th bd this weekend.

We went to Bebe's, I tried on some stuff and one look in the mirror of me in practically naked as I'm tryring stuff on was enough to ruin my night ARGH! Honestly I have the worst body image! I'm trying on extra smalls and size 0's for Pete's sake!!! And they fit!!!

So why do I hate to look at myself? I ended up NOT getting anything for going out but I did get a gorgeous shirt style dress (in an extra small) that I felt great in, I even dare say, it looked great on me..I don't get it

Ok, end of my venting...I'll be back at the gym tonight!
 
By the way, I drowned my sorrow in two dirty martini's LOL (bad).

But at least my food intake has been good. My ratios have been 40/30/30ish,
