Montage: The New Adventures of Cannon

This week wound up being a bit depressing. I worked out 4 times, I ate right, it was my first week trying to lose since March and the result was, I was up .5 pounds on the scale today from last Monday. I won't let the scale dictate things, but you know when you start really working at weight loss you get one of those huge drops usually because of water. I didn't get any such luck. I'm not letting it mess me up. In fact I'm off to work out in a bit, but I really wish I had something concrete to show for a lot of hard work.
 
Yeah that's pretty much what I'm doing. I know I had a good week and I did a lot of weight lifting as well. I'm not letting the scale get me down.
 
Hey Lena, welcome back :) I'm getting ready to go away until Monday so I won't post for a few days, but its terrific to see you back.

I hear this Joe, man do I ever! Ive been playing tennis for months, this last 2 weeks or so really steppin it up, playing abt 6 times a week for 2 - 2.5 hrs at a time and I have either stayed steadily the same or gained. I have decided I need to stop looking at the numbers, it is obvious my body is changing and I do look better because even I can see it.

Have fun going away:) The girls and I are as well from Fri to Mon...on my days off, my shift ends Fri morn and then I return to work Tues mon at midnight, so we are spending our summer going to mom and dad (vancouver Island) every other weekend all summer long. This week I have the Fri off, I took it off so I can attend my youngest year end preschool wrap up and not have the pressure of trying to sleep before going back to work.

Hey cannon we have a lot to lose and it gets downright depressing. It's not like having to lose those few pounds, we have to lose at least a whole person and it really gets to you........ Just try your best to keep on track and one of these days we can both be where we want to be.
 
:Angel_anim:Hi Joe! Just want to encourage you to keep up the good work! I know how hard it can be when you just don't see the scale reflecting your efforts, but persistence really does pay off in the long run. I know that I continue to trim down even though my scale doesn't show it lately. The hoots and whistles are most welcome now...hee hee

Hey thanks for the support folks :). The weight isn't dropping quite as fast as I'd like, but I'm working out hard two days a week with my trainer and two days a week on my own and I'm watching my food intake. So far I'm down 4.5 pounds, but I'm also putting on muscle I'm sure. I have some real catching up to do, but I'm doing OK :)
 
Hi Joe! I didn't know you had a new diary, so I thought you had disappeared altogether. Looks like it's been a while since you posted. I hope you've been busy doing all kinds of fun crap and having a thrilling summer. :D
 
Hey Joe, It is your BDAY and your not here and haven't been for awhile now:(...I just want you to knwo that your thought of and missed :hug2:
