MomtoMandK's Diary-Getting my life BACK!

Thanks Tomble....it's nice having someone to share with and encourage. Keeps you a little more on your toes!

Having Her constant support is what started me and aided me in starting to lose weight! I see how passionate she is about it...and I'm now on the horse and going strong... I love you hon!

How are you doing so far today??

I heard the kids were difficult, lol..mine sure were, oh man, i think i only got half a nights rest.

Anyways, keep at it, your doing great :D

The kids are being very difficult today....or maybe it's because I am having a VERY bad day.....:( It's one of those days where...if I hear 1 more "mommmmy" I'm going to SCREAM!?

Actually....today has been hard....I am NOT feeling well still. I am feeling really down, and highly.....I don't even know what.... it's been a rough morning. And not really getting better. ugh....you now it is when you have a REALLY bad day! You just can't wait to go to bed that night so that the day is just OVER! :( :( :(

Hey there, thanx for stoppin by my diary...I can totally relate to wanting to get yourself and body back, being a mom is so straining on us...

:):):) I just wanted to say Hi and welcome and good for you for starting a journal, i was hesitant as well but I am glad I did...This forum and these ppl have helped me alot and I totally credit them...

This place is great and welcome aboard!!!

Being a mom is very taxing and straining. And harder when you're not taking care of yourself.......

Thanks so much!

Just stopping in to say hello :)

It looks like you're doing great! This is such a long process, but it certainly doesn't have to be drudgery - and having a partner in crime...I mean weightloss is FANTASTIC! Kudos to the two of you :D

Thanks so much! My working out, etc has kind of come to a stand still, but seem to still be losing. Still trying my best to eat right. And managing to get down 9 14oz glasses of water even though I am sick!

It certainly is a long process.....it took me TEN YEARS to put all this on! It's going to take some time to get it off! Funny how we seem to think it should come off over night!

And Being a dad... unless you're a single dad... we have NO idea what Stay at home moms go through... Not even for a minute! We couldn't do what they do! In other words...

I can't do what you do babe! You're amazing!

Oh, I hear ya...
I was 30 pounds overweight when I met my husband...but then, I gained 4.5 pounds a year. That's not that much - not really! That was 4.5 pounds a year for 16 years! LOL! It sure added up to an extra 72 pounds in 16 years!

I was NOT going to lose 4.5 pounds a year for the next 16 years to get down to where I was when I met Bob!

I was tagged....I think I am supposed to put 5 things about me:

1) I grew up in a little town in Northern British Columbia, Canada with one blinking "stop" light and approx. 3 hours from Alaska! And VERY proud of my Canadian heritage! :D

2) I am the oldest of 6 siblings(4 girls 2 boys...in that order)

3) I love working on ebay!

4) I LOVE photography and would love to take a class someday

5) I am a country girl born and raised....and sorely miss it!

LOL...it's true! I started gaining weight when I was 16. Even since I got married 5 years ago I have gained 64lbs   12.8lbs/year! That is ridiculous! I'm down the 23lbs now, but still. It's an awful feeling!

I actually was thinking about it the other day, and I even remember the VERY first time I really truly overate. I ate to the point I was totally sick, and just kept eating. And I never stopped. As least that pain masked how horribly I felt emotionally....took my mind off of it. It was a MAJOR medicating thing for me back then!

Isn't it great to be able to look back and see what caused you to go down that road? It's the working knowledge of where we've been that will help us to get to where we're going!

Hindsite is really 20/20!

He's working on brownie points :D :D :D :D :D Can't you tell??????

It's true though(of course I'm going to say that), but I remember one time he watched the kids for me for a few hours. I came home and he came up to me and said "I am so proud of you. I don't know how you do it every day, day in and day out. They're driving me crazy!" It felt nice that he kind of understood what I was going through.

Dont I know that all too well...LOL...I am a single mom of two...Ive fallen hard a few times due to not caring for myself it isnt easy but at least you have a great supporting loving husband...always be grateful for that:):):)

*Chest puffs up a bit

:p if you as her, I've always "Thought" I was overweight because my family told me I was...and I really was actually UNDER my weight for my height... then after the army...I let myself go because I just didn't care about me... She has helped me in that area and I'm truly blessed because of it!

ya'll are so sweet to each other!! And he understands what you go thrugh all day, Girl you are very lucky! I'm a stay at home mom too, and my husband hasn't a clue, even though he can't last an hour with our kids by himself. lol

Hey there girlie! I've been talking your head off over in my diary so I thought I'd come over here and spread a little love. :D :D Keep up the great work and have a fantabulous day! :D

LOL.....I had to read the post you were refering to ;) Yes....I have to admit.....my cheesecake is sooooooooooo yummy! Light, flavorful, creamy texture. I about died when his friend took a bite that time and fell out of his chair... :) FABULOUS compliment to a "chef" :D:D:D

I'm really excited for you! Right now, he's helping me get extra rest, since I have been sick, but I have been helping him and motivating him. He was having a rough workout the other day, and said he couldn't do it. So I stood beside him and kept telling him he could. He had said he wanted to sweat too, so I turned off the fan he had rigth on him and put up the hood to his hoodie ;) lol...he got a chuckle out of that....Sweated nicely too! lol....guess what... HE DID IT :D:D He did a fabulous job!

Thanks so much for stopping by :D:D
