Wednesday Workout


I think I will skip dinner, and have wine for dinner instead to save calories!


Unfortunately, I think I am in the same boat as you. Has a really nutri-packed lunch, but the potential debauchery could put me over maintainence.

I busted out my juicer today girl! GOING RAW for the next 6 weeks!! I'm missing meat and cheese like crazy, haven't had any since Sunday. A burrito sounds so good. My stomach is grumbling.

I'm going to get all my nutrients from raw foods and knock my calories to smithereens!

So far for Breakfast & Lunch today I have consumed:

Breakfast
2 apples
1 orange

Lunch
1 cup cherry Tomato
1 cup Celery
1 cup Broccoli
1 cup snap peas
1 cup Chicken Broth (I needed some Salt)

Snack
2 mandarins

Dinner
Protein Shake
2 glasses wine (Had to be a responsible driver)

I don't mind it most of the time since I usually just watch a show on TV, or listen to music, or ponder over my many thoughts of how I am going to succeed in my goals. LOL I use it as my visualizing time...

LOL Andy! I am avoiding anything green in terms of alcohol tonight! I can't have green braces this weekend for my date.

Good luck to us both tonight!! I'll be doing my best not to give in to the munchies after a few glasses of jesus juice. Oh boy!! I have to be really strong.

I can't beleive that I went Raw Vegan for almost a whole 11 months last year!! That was insane!!

My pants went from size 6 tight to size 2 in 2 weeks of being RAW!!! You got this woman!!!...#1!! :cheers2:~!!!

Boy o' boy was last night a test of temptation!! Oh St. Patty's.....

I did good and only had 2 glasses of white wine. They messed me up!! I swear I was breathing firey fumes for hours. I actually feel hung over from it. Must have been the empty stomach.

On the way home, I wanted to sink my teeth into a juicy burrito, and as I drove past the exit on the freeway, it was a test of willpower. I almost pulled off, but I thought about the wedding and how I want to look great, and kept going. It was rough!!!

So glad I stuck with the plan. Geez.... I hope this gets easier, cuz I am hUnGarY for some fatty carby meal!!! Hopefully the raw foods will help break my addition to those bad carbs. I hear it takes 3 weeks to break a habit. Wish me luck!!!

I am down a pound from yesterday!! Yeah baby!!
 
Nice work MJ! I'm craving bad stuff too! Today I went to Tim Horton's to get a g/c for someone at work and I really wanted a bagel loaded with cream cheese and a sugar filled vanilla cap but I went for the green tea and yogurt & berries instead! Wedding's in our future are going to keep us going strong for the next 6 weeks!! Happy thoughts! Keep it up girl!

Good for you resisting the bagel. Oh yum, I love the ones with jalapenos and cheese on the top served warm so the cream cheese spreads nicely. mmmm

I'm having a friend for supper tomorrow night (caribbean fish and curried rice) but it's Saturday and Sunday I better get busy planning.

I have not had any meat in 5 days!! Oh, yesterday was particularly tough as I wanted to eat bad all day, it was a constant struggle. The way I look at it though, is that I am breaking an addiction right now! Same way I kicked the ciggs nearly two years ago. Same way I kicked the diet soda a month and a half ago. Just tune out the body's cravings and stick to the course.

I'm starting to cleanse from all the raw food. My body is having a healing crisis today and my nose is stuffed up. Looks like my body is healing itself and expelling toxins. yay!! But not yay for how I feel. I have to just keep driving the course!:auto:

I do have plans on Saturday to go bike riding in the morning, then I have plans to do a dinner and comedy show in the evening. I am praying to make good choices at the dinner. My plan is to have a raw salad with no dairy or meat on it and a few glasses of wine.

Sunday I will probably be cleaning house, and going for another bike ride or working out.

I don't have any bad food at home, so long as I don't leave the house, I will be safe from the temptations that leark beyond! I have so many fast food restaurants in my area and restaurants!! I just have to 'look away!' LOL

Thanks!! I have been getting in at least 6-9 glasses of water a day. Really trying to go for the fluids and going raw tends to stirr up the dust in this body. lol I need to flush it out!!
 
Friday morning Update:

On the diet front: So far soo good baby!! I have stayed raw all week with exception of some protein shakes to get me through my workouts, and some Organic Fat Free Chicken Broth to sooth my meat craving and salt craving. I've noticed my skin is starting to feel really smooth and silky and I have more mental allertness. Interesting. I lost 0.4 more pounds yesterday! yay!! I'm on a roll!! Whoo hoo!

On a personal front:

I think my date is standing me up this weekend. I'm not for certain but he hasn't called me since Sunday. See, this is why I hate dating, for starters I hate rejection, and then I just find men so confusing!! I thought he was totally into me, and now I am thinking that after I left the singles event he met someone else and I am now #2. Doh!!

We left the event a tad early, and apparently most of the party ended up over at my crush's friends house for an after party that lasted until the following day! So surely all those cougars were up on my man. Anyhow.... I just have to face the facts that "he just isn't that into me" and brush myself off and move on. I wanted to call him, but no!! I have to be strong and hold my dignity. It is a blow to my self esteem tho.

I'll use the frustration to get me through a good workout today!!

I had a dream about my high school sweetheart kissing me this morning!! OMG! I am going to be seeing him in 6 weeks for the wedding for the first time in 6 years. I swear when I am conscious I don't have those thoughts!! What is happening to me??? Ugh!!! He is so not my type anymore or good for me. I must be getting desperate in my head! LOL

Off to check on everyone's diaries!!
