^^ I agree. A lot of those struck home with me. It'll be worth it in the end, darling. Keep on going. You'll see the 100's in no time.

First off, I'm under 200 (by quite a bit!) and second, that was a 4.7 pound loss from last week's BL weigh in. Holy crap, talk about your whoosh! I really didn't do anything at all different last week either. After I saw that number, I went and looked at my calories for the last week, and I averaged around 1450 daily. That's about normal for me and it was the same types of food I normally eat.
(he's a bit of a prude. Xenon - Lol, I love peanut butter. I have a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast several times a week and my favorite healthy snack is peanut butter and a granny smith apple.
Sunflower - I know! I'm pretty excited about that. Thanks! ^_^

*happy dance* I'm having a great morning as far as the weight loss goes! Ok, this isn't official until Friday, and normally I don't post my weight early, but I'm so excited about this.
I weighed myself for the BL Challenge and I was at 196.5!!!First off, I'm under 200 (by quite a bit!) and second, that was a 4.7 pound loss from last week's BL weigh in. Holy crap, talk about your whoosh! I really didn't do anything at all different last week either. Like I said, that's not official yet, but the trend seems to be that I weigh in well for the Challenge, then either maintain or lose another 1/2 pound or so for Friday's weigh in. So I'm fairly sure that I'll be right around here come Friday. We'll see.
Last time I really tried to lose weight, I started at about 214. I did it for two months and got down to 195, but then some stuff happened in our lives that was too much for me to handle on top of the weight loss and I quit. Went back to my old ways and gained it all back plus 5 pounds. So, I'm very close to being the lightest I've been since I was in college! A few more pounds and I'll be there. So that's exciting too.
Then, to top that off, I took my measurements this morning. Last time I took them was three weeks ago. They are posted above, but you can see that I lost a total of 8.25 inches. That's pretty sweet, actually. I guess I'm not sure how much someone should lose in three weeks, so maybe that's not a great number, but I'm happy with it.
Although I really have to laugh about the 2 inches off my breasts. I knew they were getting smaller! I don't quite fill out some of my shirts as much as I used to and my bras are feeling more loose. I even asked the hubby over the weekend if he thought my breasts were getting smaller, but he chose not to comment.(he's a bit of a prude.
) Now, I certainly don't mind having less in that area! But it just figures that I'd lose there the most.
I'm going to be a bit tired today though. I got to bed an hour late last night because hubby came home right as I was heading to bed and we sat up talking for a little while. Then he had to wake up a hour earlier than I did this morning. When the alarm went off for him, I got up and went to the bathroom, then decided to weigh myself for the Challenge. Well, when I saw my weight I was so excited that I couldn't get back to sleep. I went and laid in bed for 25 minutes or so, then gave up and got up. So, 6 hours of sleep last night instead of 8. I can already feel it too, but I'm still riding the excitement.
OH! AND, since I mentioned this here before, we went and got our taxes done last night. That's such a relief to have those done, you have no idea. And to top that off, we are getting a decent refund back. Hubby was worried that we'd have to pay in. I was pretty sure we wouldn't have to pay in, but I didn't think we'd get much back. We got about 5 times more than I figured we'd get! O_O That'll be enough to pay off some of our smaller debts (small credit cards and the like), get something we've been looking at, have money for my friend's visit next month AND still have a little left over for a "rainy day" fund. YEA! And it was completely painless too, I think we'll go back to that same woman next year.
Oh, I've been meaning to say this and I keep forgetting. Does anyone eat that Fiber One cereal? I got a box last week and I'm liking it! I got the original flavor, because it had the most fiber and the least sugar. It does taste a little on the bland side, I'll be honest, but it's not a bad taste. I don't like fruit in my cereal, but if you do, that would help with the flavor I'm sure. I add a little honey to mine.
Anyway, I always have an issue getting enough fiber. This has 14g of fiber in one half cup serving! Only 1g of fat, no sugar, no cholesterol, 60 calories and it's made with whole grains. Anyway, just wanted to share that the cereal isn't terrible, if anyone has been thinking about it. Or if anyone else has trouble getting enough fiber. With the milk and honey, my breakfast still only comes to about 135 calories and I stay full until my morning snack.
Lol, just read that over. I swear I'm not trying to sell the cereal. Just found a product that I liked.

I was at 196.5!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
and it is so super to hear that you got so much good news

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but I'm sure it's water weight. For one, there's no way possible that I ate 7000 above maintenance!!! Not when I'm usually 1000-1200 below, and this has been a decent week for calories. Plus, I drank about 50 ounces of water at work yesterday and only went to the bathroom twice. Yeah, that tells you something.
