Diet
9am- 3oz beef, 2 slices double fiber bread, 1 tbsp strawberry jam, 1 tbsp hummus, 4 artichokes, 1/4cup dried cranberries
1pm- 6oz pork belly, 1 cup brown rice, cucumbers, 10 oysters grilled
8pm- 3 peaches, 3 sandwich crackers (300cal)

Thoughts
The good news is that my body does not feel an OUNCE of pain at all. The good news is that I took two very large dumps today. The good news is that I feel skinny today.

The bad news is that I haven't stepped in the gym since Thursday, but did do a lot of walking on Friday. The bad news is that I haven't been watching my calories. The bad news is that I don't think I'll reach my goal.

The good news is that I'm ready to start fresh tomorrow. The good news is I went shopping tonight and stuffed my frig with vegetables. The good news is that I'm excited to get back some control.

Thoughts
I am going on a last minute vacation with my girlfriends this friday and will come back saturday night! I can't believe it!!! I am so excited! I gotta work hard this week so I feel extra good! I will do well!!

I'm happy I took such large BMs yesterday, but I need to cut calories again so I can keep moving in the right direction!

You will reach your goals, so no negative thoughts :) Glad you've got a bit of renewed enthusiasm because of your holiday! Last minute vacations are always the best ones! Where are you going?
 
Hey girl, me and my three girlfriends are planning on going to the beach about 3 hours away, we live in the bay area in California, so really, we are spoiled with good weather! But we've never been to this beach, so we plan on creating some havoc for one good night ;)

i'm on a ridiculously tight budget so, i will probably keep the trip under $50, if all possible. Peanut butter sandwich anyone?
 
This past week, thus far, it seems like i've been doing a refeed. I've been eating a lot of calories. I don't know what I weigh, I'm sure I've gained a few pounds. My goal for Day 30 goal is now to reach 191, as of this very moment that is my goal. What I did learn this week is to definitely take rest days and eat more than 1200 calories, so my body can rest and regroup. I need to live a little!

I want to add morning cycling, so I hope to boost my exercise and lose some more weight....

This coming week, which starts on Thursday, I think I will try caloric cycling, 1800 x2, 1500, 1200x4.

Thoughts
I woke up too late to do the 6AM cycling course, I woke up at 5:45, I realized I set my alarm up for 5:30 on FRIDAY, not the next morning. doh!!! My breakfast was pretty good! It makes me want to saute onions, cherry tomatoes, corn, squash, and bell peppers.

I decided to make another stir-fry so I used green and orange bell peppers, two yellow squashes, 2 handful of chopped mushrooms, 1/4 of a small onion. My gosh! It was deliciously! I added a packet of red pepper flakes to add some heat and that totally helped! I heated up a can of kidney beans and corn to add some fiber and protein. Deliciousness! I chopped the chicken sausages small so it didn't even seem like I ate a lot when there were so many!

My body doesn't feel so painful now, my abs are sore from the minimal crunches I did yesterday prior to starting body pump.

It's hard for me to keep under 1200cal on days where I spend all day at home.....No work, nothing to do, but stay home and veg and wait for fitness classes...sigh sigh sigh!
 
Woooooo, after body pump yesterday and strength training tonight, I am most definitely sore!! I have 5 more gym visits before leaving on vacation Friday night, and Friday is also my Day 30 weigh in!

I weighed in today and wasn't surprised by the number. Although, let me tell you, I LOOK skinnier, FEEL skinnier, and my brother and sister have made comments like "wow your neck is coming back!" My hands and wrists are slimmer, my midsection fat isn't so tightly packed, so rather having one big roll, i have one roll on top of my rib cage and another right under it. I noticed that a slight waist is coming in, when I truly looked straight up and down in my midsection! all that fact! Also, I noticed my collar bone is oh-so-slightly appearing~! I can't wait until it appears THE WHOLE LENGTH OF IT!

I just now know how much work I gotta do! I definitely want the number on the scale to go down, i mean, who IS skinny at 195? haha, not me!!!! I know I can keep moving and DO BETTER.

I plan on cycling tomorrow morning. My goal is to see 190 after cycling Friday morning, but I'm not going to hold it to myself. I just want to cycle for the next three mornings! and work out both evenings!

Thoughts
I woke up at 515 because of my alarm, but my body was aching particularly my abs and arms, so I decided to stay in bed. I woke up and im typing this out while im at lunch at my subjob, I took a nice size BM after I finished my sandwich, im so happy im not backed up. My body loved the veggies yesterday!

WhenI get home at 230, ill make another veggies stirfry and eat all thats deliciousness. I hope to weigh in around 193 after working out tonight!!

Ridiculously happy that I'm at 191.6lb TONIGHT!!!!!!! I will definitely get under 190 by Friday morning!

Thoughts
I've been eating a lot today, just constantly munching on things. I started my TOM today, oh so slightly. I'm surprised I don't feel bloated though? I've noticed that if I have certain cups, I drink more water. I have this cup I got from a baseball game and I've been holding on to it all day, and man, it's only 4 and i've already drank 12 cups of water! SHEESH!

Today I drank like 13 cups of water before working out, i mean i drank those cups throughout the day, so, during my workout i didn't get thirsty until the last 30 minutes, which i think is a good sign of my hydration, meaning, if i got thirsty earlier in the workout, my gosh, i would be really thirsty!

I sweated so much, it looked like i peed my pants--front and back!! I don't know if I am going to go cycling tomorrow morning, it's just a tough schedule to follow in the mornings...we'll see...i'm kinda tempted to go though, just to, ya know, drop more weight, but eh, i might not.

Ooooh California! Capital city of toned buttocks and vegetable smoothies. I am so jealous. In my next life, i am going to be born there.

Ahhh, i know the feeling of being at home all day since i left college a few months ago... there seems to be nothing to do but wander to the fridge and look in cupboards. Your doing really well tho.

And yes, i would like a peanut butter sandwich :) On granary bread please!

Hey Miss Poodle, I just thought I'd stop by :) I've read your whole diary and I just want to say congrats on your losses and WOW at all the exercise you're doing! I can barely go to the gym for 30mins for walking and cycling!! I just also wanted to say that sometimes if you don't eat back some of your exercise calories this can actually cause you to stall or gain weight. Upping your calories for a few days (maybe to maintenance calories) might actually work to help you lose some weight. Have fun on your trip away though! :party:
 
aussiegal!! YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT, but it's SOOO hard for me to break down my MENTAL BLOCK of "eat less, lose more"! I hate it...because all this exercise IS going to cause my body to go into starvation mode....If I know the right thing to do, why don't i do it???????

my body is aching from last night's workout, i gave it a 10/10 for 2.5 hours! my body is like what?!?!?! sore sore sore in all the RIGHT places.
 
So in 30 days, I lost 12.2 pounds...If I didn't mess up for 3 consecutive days last week, I would have probably lost more. If I went to cycling for the past 4 mornings, I would have definitely met my goal. BUT HEY, I GOTTA LISTEN TO MY BODY! I'm not going to PUNISH it! I already have with the past four nights! LOL!

12.2 pounds are gone!! MONTH 2 is going to be awesome!
 
Well done, thats brill!!!!! I hope i can do as well, I'm gonna try and compete with you as your just under my weight :eek: Think you'll win though haha
