I know a trainer who runs a class called "buttz and gutz"

I mean, how pathetic sounding is that?

LOL, he also owns and operates his own website and sells an ebook. But he didn' write the ebook. LOL.

Yeah, that's pretty gross Buttz and gutz. LOL I like the names of our classes they fit to a T. For example Kick N Abs, is just that kickboxing with a 15 minute ab workout at the end. And Body Jam is just that 1 hour of rocking out jamming body movements, it's great!! They also have Body Flow which hmmm let's see is tia-chi and Pilate's I guess that fits the name. LOL LOL But Buttz and gutz, sounds like I'm in for an ass whooping and a meeting with the porcelain god or something. Hmmmmmmm LOL LOL
 
Okay, I went to Kick N Abs class tonight and I swear our instructor is the energizer bunny, that girl never stops! I had to take two water breaks, they last a complete 3 minutes each, but YOUZA my thighs were kickin, and I mean "OUCH" she has us moving non stop for 45minutes and I'm talking FAST! kick here, jab there, fast jack here, and a knee up there, I can't believe I'm actually still standing after that hour, really I'm being serious here, I get done and I'm wiped out! :svengo:

Hopefully I burn 350-400 calories a class, or I'll be pissed for sure!

I changed up my dinner plans, I didn't have what I posted earlier, so thought I would put it out here before I forget.

2 corn tortillas- 140 calories
2 tbsp refried beans- 130 calories
2 tbsp light sour cream- 40 calories
1oz cheese- 170 calories I think
tomatoes and lettuce, not sure on those will check calorie counter and report back.
2 tbsp beef- 200 calories

Roughly a total of 750 give or take a 100

and then with my breakfast of
Honey Bunches of Oats and 1% milk- 300
light yogurt -130
progresso soup lunch-180

I had a total of 1400 roughly give or take a little

Not bad and I really enjoyed my dinner.MMMM

My issue with most of the names I hear of these classes is they lead people on to believing toning is a possibility.

Sure, you can expend a good bit of calories in these classes.

Melt the fat away and replace it with muscle though... not a chance.

Your Kickin Abs instructor sounds like Chalene Johnson who does the Turbo Jam. Have you ever seen her infomercials on TV? Some of her dvds sound like your classes. They are beyond my capabilities--I just am not coordinated enough to do such complicated moves so fast...lmao. :biggrinjester: I envy you for only needing a few water breaks. I would give up in frustration about 15 min into it. :rolleyes:

I hope Amy is right about Claudia--I just wish she'd have told us she wouldn't be on for awhile so we wouldn't worry about her. :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY To you and your H, ahhhhhhh I'm coming up on number 4 in August, boy does time just fly or what? I was married for over 10 years the first time, it's hard to believe some days.

Well have a wonderful day, I"m currently eating my Smart One "weight watcher" meal. it's yummy. rice/beans with cheese. like 300 calories total, which is good for lunch.

I picked up some new snack packs they are from nabisco 100 calories each pack and they are like cheese nips, mmmm thought I would try something new for a snack later.

Hey Kim. Thanks for stopping by my diary earlier. It's nice to talk to you again. As I can see from your recent posts it seems like you still are at the gym quite a bit. Those classes sound kind of fun. I did a spin class once, a few months ago. It was a great workout but man, that seat left me feeling pretty sore for a couple of days....

She just doesn't stop......ever.
I really do believe that she keeps up on certain moves until someone starts groaning/crying. LOL
You will have to see a drop in the scale with all that working out this week.

Actually, with Sheryl MIA, my diary's been pretty tame lately. I think she brings out my inner perv. ;) I really wish she and Claudia would come back. I dunno what's up with either of them, and I confess I'm concerned that something's wrong. :(

Oh Bell, for some sneaky suspicion, I think I'll see a few pounds gone tomorrow, I'm already noticing it again in my clothes, I'm wearing a skirt today that I could zip right up without any issues, and well I think it's a size 9YIPPY SKIPPY, now just another size down and I'll be exactly where I've wanted to be for well let's just say a LONG TIME! lol lol thanks for checking in on me.

I thought we lost you there for a minute, I was getting a smidge worried, but I heard from someone here you were working on the house or buying a house or something in the house department and I know how much time that can consume, so I wasn't worried to much. So how has the weight been for you?? I know you were dropping those pounds like a mad women before and I'm sure it's still going. my goal is also to be a size 7... unfortunately I'm a size 16 right now. (eek) You have worked really hard. Congrats on the easy zipping skirt! Hope you have an excellent Thursday.
 
Thank you soooo much!! I'm going to the gym this evening, but have no idea what I'll be doing, I'm currently in the mind frame of running on the upstairs track, but again that can change in a few hours as I get a little more run down by the day. Either way, I will do some form of hour cardio and no weights tonight, I did circuit training last night, and ran on the elliptical for awhile.

Dinner last night Huge garden salad, loaded with veggies, a Huge Sweet Potato steamed and 2tbsp butter on it, I have to have something on it, I'm going to look into the I can't believe it's not butter and see if that works for me, but on my sweet potatoes I have to have pepper and a little butter, as I love eating the skin, and can't stand it dry.

I guess I mentioned my dinner from last night because I ate really well yesterday and stayed within my calorie range. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've done really well for myself this week, I'm quite proud for a change. :patriot:

Today let's see my menu is as follows:

Breakfast: I mixed a little honey bunches of oats, with about 10 small shredded wheats, mmmm it was yummy 1 cup of 1% milk, it hits the 300 calorie mark and keeps me full all the way to lunch

lunch: Smart One, I have three to choose from so not sure yet which one I'll go for, but none are over 350 calories, so that's really good! mmmm I love these and it's been awhile since I bought them, I get burned out easy on them after a few weeks.

Afternoon snack: Yogurt "light" 130 calories

Dinner: Cabbage steamed 5 Cups with broth, Carrots steamed 2 cups, New potatoes steamed, mmmmm and "light turkey" mmmmmmmmm my mouth is watering now. I love me some cabbage. yeah I can eat 5 cups EASY!
now tomorrow I'll be in the bathroom all day! LOL LOL roughage OIY!
 
Yeah, I think I'll see something good on there, anything on the downward is good enough for me, I don't care if it's only 1lb, I'll TAKE IT! oh and RUN, I don't want it following me again. LOL LOL

GO WEIGHT LOSS!!! GO!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Good luck on those scales - though in a way you don't really need that - with a newly yippeeskippeeeazyzipping skirt!! You are clearly doing great!! :D
